Glad the SVTs are getting some more spotlight, they really are fun cars. Definitely not fast by any means but peppy and fun to drive around town and backroads. All of that is amplified with the supercharger, that's for sure.

Still miss mine. 03 SVTF. Changed it for an 05 GTO and to this day one of my biggest mistakes....

One thing i love about Throtl builds is no matter what the condition of the project car it ALWAYS starts with a wash. There is nothing worse than going to work on a car and its gross inside or out. So its good to see someone take pride in their work from the beginning.
yes yes YES as a hard fan and owner of a rs, svt and zx3 foci (plural of focus, mind you) i totally love you guys for doing this build, you're basically the only big channel that has done a focus mk1 build, i'm totally moist for this one, these cars are total sleepers and absolutely fun to drive, have godly handling and more than adecuate space for groceries lel; anyways, i'm pretty excited for this series, keep up the amazing work guys! WOOOOOOOO!

Used to have an SVTF. Still one of my favorite cars. I've owned newer GTIs and have a Golf R and I still miss that car so much. You felt like you were apart of the car and road when driving.

There's so many cool cars from the 90s that you could build! There's a huge selection that you don't even see or here about anymore. From Ford Probes to Civic Del sol, Chevrolet cavalier, Nissan sentra spec r, etc! I even liked the 2 door neon you guys did! 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tidy it up, a little tuning, some interior upgrades, nice wheels, good suspension and paint it in Ultimate Green as kind of homage to the original look. Job done. This has so much potential.

That large hose clamp on the exhaust is for the factory heat shield. The plug hanging down is for the engine block heater. Most likely an East Coast car. Pretty neat build!
That exhaust takes me right back to 2001, I remember most show cars back then were not even drivable "all show and no go" , at least this one drives and sounds sick. All it needs is Eminem playing...." 2 trailer park girls go round the outside, round the outside" bumpin hard as hell
This chassis is SOOOO slept on, such a strong Rally history and respect no given. This car is on my bucketlist!

I have a dream build for one of these!!! Full wrc widebody with the 5 cylinder engine from the uk mk2 rs and mk3 AWD
so if you were wondering what the electrical outlet was for. back in the old days they used to leave the lights and subs radio etc on at the shows so you could plug an extention cord up to that under the car and it would power everything else in the car. so you wouldnt kill your battery at the show

Arright Ricky, trick with that jumper box is once you turn it on you’ve got to hold the red exclamation point till it starts flashing then your good to jump start from full dead

I love this. A Roush body kit would look 🔥 on this. Get ahold of the guys at 5 Acre Focus for a replacement timing belt, the replacement ones at autozone don't have the right spring for the correct tension and fail early.

PLEASE do an ST within the next couple builds… no one builds them on youtube and I have no idea why. My full bolt on/tuned Tangerine Scream ST on coilovers still makes me smile every day 2 years after I bought it.
Beater cars are usually the most fun to drive because you just don’t care what happens and they are fun to beat on. This should be a big transformation.

After the crazy day I had today I really needed to see this video that was one of the cars I had when it first came out brand new didn’t do any modifications it came with a Cosworth Engine supercharge can’t wait to see what you guys do with it 💯

this era of show cars is so sick, I love the wild shit people were doing back then, I caught the tail end of this era since I was born in 2003 but I grew up playing need for speed underground and underground 2 on my mom's PS2
Hold the ! On the noco jump box to unlock full power. It bypasses the safety feature allowing you to jump off something really dead. Hope this helps.

Focus SVT with the Jackson supercharger was a honda killer back in the day. that SVT all has the euro package with the HIDs
To be honest, it's totally on par for quality of a Sema build even today. How many Sema builds drive, run etc ? Very few in fact.
Had a 2002 SVT Focus with a JRSC. Tons of mods, blew the flywheel through the trans… Didnt know the dual mass flywheel had a recall… replaced the getrag and ran it for a long while until I sold it when I joined the army. Still miss that car! If my buddy Dan is out there, who was there when the flywheel
Blew (we were on the way to a track day) hit me up! He helped me get my alternate going and made the track day… sortof… I have the video of mine getting dyno’d! 215hp to the wheels.. lol
For that kind of Jump Pack you need to press the little Red ! into all the lights starts flashing and then it will give enough juice to start it
That's an EAP (european appearance package, or at least they added the Mach headlights & 17 spokes) with the winter package as well, that dangling plug was from the engine block heater lol.
Love this build brings back memories. I had a 2003 zx3 as my first car. I'm now 35 lol

For the jump box that was green but not jumping the car, you need to place it in override mode. If the battery is really low the jump box won’t work in the default settings. It has a safety feature so the clips aren’t energized unless connected to a power source above a certain threshold.
You guys should put a MK3 focus RS powertrain and drivetrain under this thing! I’m super excited to see what you guys do with this

Over in the uk, we can’t wait to get rid of these things. But if you really want to give it an edge, look for ST equipment, body kit too. If it’s not your vision then I can’t wait to see what you do with it. And they look great in white and carbon. 🇬🇧🙏
I'm from the UK and I own a Mk1 focus RS, you should try to convert svt to that, it would look insane in the US.👍🤟

Bad Boy Club was on everything in the 90's.
When I worked at a ford dealer in 04 I drove a couple of the svt focuses. If I had to use a vehicle as a chase vehicle I would always grab the keys to one. We had the srt4 in the lot as well.
But I remember going to SEMA n hot import nights here in AC NJ. Ford racing actually had a 5.0 302 conversion for the little hot hatch. Made it into rear wheel drive of course. Should be a fun project though with that supercharger
You have to press and hold the red exclamation button on those Noco jump packs when trying to jump a dead battery.
