I never considered Pastor Anderson hateful from an overall perspective of his character. I've seen plenty of his sermons where understanding, compassion, and love were the centerpiece of discussion. His reception of pushback is a valid sign of the times.

Romans 1 plainly states that sodomy is an unnatural sin that comes about after one has rejected God. It is not a sin common to man.
This is why throughout the ENTIRE BIBLE no one is ever sent to convert a sodomite, and there is no example of a sodomite ever being saved.
They are always either destroyed or exiled. They are not allowed in the congregations of the saints, they are given the death penalty, they are destroyed of God.
Up until even less than 100 years ago, they were given the death penalty by the US government which was originally founded on the Bible.
If you believe Anderson is false on his view, you also believe that Christians have been wrong for hundreds of years, including the founding Christians in the US.

Notice he who abides in me. That means he who stays with God, he bears much fruit. So yes, someone who abides in God produces good works, that is a sign that the faith is genuine.
Abiding in God will produce more good works than not for the individual, but that doesn't mean you can compare between indviduals, since everyone is given different hands to play with
