My well faded, but dark brown Carhartt Chore Jacket is from the 1970's. I've had it since 2005. I didn't know it was old until my brother-in-law saw me wearing it one day and noticed the redish-purple/blue, white double-lines plaid blanket lining. Which I've yet to see one like it. It has the 70's *'C' carhartt* ...seen here (bottom right) 6:24
I just got so lucky today and found my forst carhartt, a j007 at an old lady for 1$ that's so crazy but unfortunately its a bit too oversized 😭 but i dont really mind for that price. Ill wear it like that. Really liked the video! Got a new sub.

I’m tryna find out why I can’t grab one for work/ workin on my car and I guess this is why. It’s sucks man ppl buy these for $20 and then just resell em for $130-$200. I’d buy a new one but I like the way the old ones fit they don’t make em the same smh. Sucks Theyr just “fashion” now
the high resell is dumb, a lot of items become trendy and don’t increase prices but bins resellers have created a new standard. just hold on to the ones you have

buying secondhand is better for the environment as you may know. and if you’re questioning my wear, i do work at FedEx Ground and beat these jackets in well. work jackets are used for work as well as personal use
@@lucasmoney FedEx Ground hustles, no offense meant. I have a barely tan 20 year old Carhartt that is tattered and torn but it feels like an old friend. When the collar is flipped up the original color is still kinda there.

i’ve found some good prices for a size small! mediums are sometimes tricky but you can definitely find the right one for you
Glad my dad saved all his old work carrharts and Levi's from the 90s and early 2000s, natural distressing and stains from working with gypsum.
