I just had a quick question, what if we are already on our work permit and applying for the TRV from within Canada, in the funds available section, do we write down our Approximate annual income, as the monthly income and bank statements will be less that $10,000 for sure and the cic website says that you cannot enter an amount less than 10,000?? Hi,I have a question in the form 5257 in #7 current country of residence . In the dates to and from which dates we have to mention. I entered Canada in 2015 and i got my work permit on 2nd DEC 2016 till DEC 2019. But now i recently got my new work permit starting Feb 1 2020. So in (To) section which date i have to mention the entry date that is January 5,2015 or the date of of starting of old work permit or the date of starting of new work permit

Hi, may I ask, what if my status has been expired because my OWP extension got denied and I already processed my restoration. Now I am going to apply my TRV Separately just incase it got denied again but just to be on the safe side incase it would happen so I still have a valid Temporary Resident Visa here. You can put the end date of your work permit as you need the visa for that duration

I applied for trv back in march and because of covid my biometrics got delayed and then they jus waved them off. Right in aug i got email saying you have new message. Unfortunately, I forgot my cic account sign in and i was completely unable to reset it maybe bad luck and then i tried linking same application in new account but it gave me issues. I called immigration on 28 september cause I urgently have to visit my family at end of this month. He asked me to send my passport to the office which i did but on 1st oct i received email providing me with same application which i was unable to open it says that its approved but also that ‘you have send your passport within 30 days’ but i sent them like after 1 and half month. I am so worried now if they gonna stamp it or not.

I have couple of questions. My old passport got expired and i got my passport renewed recently here in Toronto and i have a new one now.
1) What do i fill under "country or territory of issue" in PASSPORT section ? Is it INDIA or CANADA?
2) What do i fill under passport number ? Do i need to give my old passport number or the new one from the renewed(new) passport?
3) Also while uploading passport as supporting document , do i need to upload both the passports (new one and old passport along with existing trv visa stamp on old passport) .

One last help needed. So my father is completing the application on behalf on my mom too and we are completing form 5173 to appoint him to represent my mom. So as he is filing the application online we are not printing the featured form and signing but my father signed at last once all forms for himself and mum were uploaded. My question is that my mother did not sign physically in the form featured in your video as that went in online application from my dads account (he applied for a family member ), but as we have completed 5713 and my mum signed that does the final online signature of my dad suffice for that as there was no other screen that asked for family members sign

If your trv is expiring / expired, you can do this. You can write unemployed- maternity leave as got it from someone who was in similar situation

This is for the application from inside Canada . If you are inside Canada legally that means you have some status like study work etc . If you want to apply from outside Canada I have uploaded the relevant video

Your work permit is not your travel document . You need to have a valid trv to travel moreover read about travel restrictions to make sure you can come back

Hello, Mr. Rahul, 1st of all very helpful video I must say. My situation is similar with one little twist. I am applying for my TRV and my wife's at the same time. (WE BOTH HAVE OPEN WORK PERMITS). During the questionnaire one of the questions is 'WHAT IS YOUR FAMILY MEMBER'S CURRENT IMMIGRATION STATUS IN CANADA?' And the answer is WORKER because she is a Open Work Permit Holder as I am. And the next question is 'WHAT DOES YOUR FAMILY MEMBER WANT TO DO IN CANADA?' Here is my confusion. The answer I chose is 'APPLY TO REMAIN IN CANADA AS A VISITOR'. But she is not a visitor, she has a worker status. But at the same time this seems to me the most appropriate answer as the other options are for applying/renewing your work/study permit. What do you think would be the right answer in this situation?? Thanks kindly.

1. How long it usually takes to get reply those days?
2. Once I get the reply, can I get my passport stamped from the Immigration office in the country where I have applied (As indicated in my application)?
3. Can I use my passport and work permit to cross the borders from the US without visa ?

I got my temporary residence visa from canada and i had to travel to india for emerency purpose. Now, i got the passport submission request. I want to have my stamping done here in india and in the procedure , they asked me about the biometric enrolled but i have not done any boimetric because in canada , it is not required. So what i have to fill in that column.
Say no because you had applied from Canada which is biometrics exempt

My friend is in India. He has work permit but doesn't have a visa. His study permit is expired. Do you have a video for applying from outside Canada? Also, do u know someone who applied in India as we hear the embassy is closed.

Vac are closed so stamping is stopped but visa processing is on
