Hi Ujjwal, thank you for the informative video. I have a quick question for you. On page 4, Q. 2c. Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? You mentioned yes. But in the comment box, you again mentioned that "Yes I applied for PGWP to stay in Canada". My question now is, you applied earlier to come to Canada to study and not pgwp. So why did you select yes? Please clarify. Thank you once again for the video!
That box is to only provide details. We applied for PGWP to remain in canada and work.

My wife came along with me when I was a student and she also got her SOWP. We are applying for TRV together. In the current application for TRV, there is a question" What does your family member want to do in Canada". All the option that is given is not valid. Can you kindly guide on this

Hi, inside canada process is of 30 to 50 days, you can apply for TRV in india as well but processing time is more than in canada

Wait until work permit extend, if you will apply now then it can be possible that try can be issued for just limited time , as I have mentioned in video , don't include Employer name so that you can get TRV until your passport is valid , if you will enter Employer name that you will issued according to your Work permit

there is a problem in this video. One part is wrong in your video which is at 15:01 min. when you said we have to enter work permit issue and expiry date is wrong. In "INDICATE HOW LONG YOU PLAN TO STAY" line we can not add issue date of work permit it shows error. We have to add current date in that part which is wrong in your video. Thank you for your video. @@savneetkaur6303 I entered the date I was filling the form and submitted and got my TRV approved. So I guess we do not have a choice but fill today’s (day you are filling the form) date.

Passport sent on 31 july, and delivered to ottawa office on 2nd august,
I received passport back on 14-15 august with VISITOR stamp.
Little confused with VISITOR stamp, whether it’s right or not, as I am on PGWP.

Hello Ujjwal, I don't have visitor visa option in the "I do not have a personal reference code" section. I have only IEC option available. I got work permit extension this year as my pgwp is ending this year. I got the work permit extension till Nov 2024 and I am now trying to apply TRV. Any idea what the reason is?

Bro in the form, under the "Details of Visit to Canada" in point 4 we are required to put Name, Relationship to me and Address that I will visit ie I will work for and it is compulsory to put info there also. But the thing is I am unemployed right now, so what should i put there?

Actually I have applied for my PR and still waiting for my invitation from more than 2 years, I did not get any acceptance or rejection since then. so in order to make my status legal I applied for my visitors status and got approval and last month I got an Extension on my Visitor Record.
Now the problem is that my previous TRV stamp has been expired with the validity of my passport.
Now I got my passport updates but cant get any option to apply for TRV stamp as per my new Visitor Record.

I hope you can help me with me question, I have 5000 canadian dollars as my funds and while uploading my documents there is no request for providing bank history details etc. the only documents asked is PASSPORT, WORK PERMIT, DIGITAL PHOTO AND THIS TRV FORM THAT YOU EXPLAINED IN THE VIDEO. So you think we have to upload an additonal document stating the proof of funds or is it okay to apply without.

And I’ve received my new study permit nd co-op permit mentioning my new passport details.

My friends filled another form for PGWP trv and they got expire date accordingly their work permit expiry date and they wrote in the purpose worker but in my case it’s written visitor and the expiry is till the passport expiry date

For the point 7 in the Imm5257e form AT 11:20 SECOND in the From and To: Do I have to put my original entry date in Canada or the one which is in my current Work Permit? So When I came my work permit was valid for only a year but later on along with my spouse it extended for 3 year so confused her which date should I add in From(Date)?
I believe it will be the latest date of my latest work permit. But just want to confirm.
