Transforming The Front End On The MK4 Golf

It was about time I changed up the front end on my MK4 Golf, after adding a front splitter and sunstrip I can definitely say the front end is more my style.
Far more of an aggressive look opposed to the restrained looks of before.

I like it in black. Replacing the number plate screws for non-rusty ones would make a difference.

I upgraded the front of my MK4 golf too with Vogtland springs and Bilstein B4 dampers. Had to use spring inserts to get the ride height and handling exactly where I wanted and also added a bit of toe out to the tracking for more grip on acceleration and cornering, I can afford to wear my tyres out quicker.

You haven't put it in all the way.
You should bang on it quite hard to properly join it with the bumper.
The black part (splitter) should be flush or even a bit behind the blue part (bumper)

Are these the £35 splitters from ebay? Would have got one for my golf but was worried it wouldn't fit nice, looks great!

I got mine from ebay, it was from 20th aniversary golf and it fitted right as it should, it was like an original one, just keep on eye from what ad you buy from cause some people don't even know what they sell so they put pictures from varies of splitters...

Mine was a £50 one, fits pretty well considering it’s aftermarket! I searched “mk4 golf front splitter” on eBay and it came up.
