#1 The Conscious Mind, by David Chalmers
#2 Perception, by Adam Pautz
#3 The Mind and its Place in Nature, by C.D. Broad
#4 A Materialist Theory of the Mind, by D.M. Armstrong
#5 Consciousness and Fundamental Reality, by Philip Goff
I also recommend Philosophy of Mind: A Beginner's Guide, by Edward Feser. Hes a very clear writer and the book gives a nice general overview of the field. Also, he's a Christian, so hes sympathetic to non materialist theories of the mind. Im personally not a christian, but i appreciate the content on this channel. Thanks, TAC!
You should do on christian theology as well (Top 5 incarnation, resurrection, Trinity, etc.) also amazing series❤️
Dustin Crummett and Brian Cutter’s paper on Psychophysical Harmony is a must read.
I love this series!
Just in time. Thank you !
Love the Australian theory of mind
Hello jordan, possible to add chapters in that video please ?
Are you a Thomistic by any chance? I have lots of books on Thomism I’ve bought and will read, but I need more philosophy books that aren’t Thomistic so I know other avenues of Christian philosophy
No, I am not a Thomist.
Just to note: I'm not a christian, but I have a lot of respect for Christian ideas. If you would like a good intro to philosophy from a christian perspective, maybe try taking a look at Philosophical Foundations for a Christian Worldview, by WLC and J.P. Moreland. I have it and its great so far.
@@Ash嘉恩071 it’s on my reading list
