    I am only 1/2 way through the video and it is eye opening...thank you..and speaking so sincerely and calmly made the points spoken of relevelent and neccessary to life in this often chaotic world....now to finish

    Schweitzer observed that the difference between a reflective person and an unreflective one was that the former viewed life as a mystery, a miracle, while the latter viewed life merely as a given, a brute fact. From this observation one might extrapolate that the former orientation tends toward a kind of spiritual existentialism, as championed by Pascal and Kierkegaard, the latter toward the more analytical (and IMHO more superficial) forms of philosophy currently popular on the net, even on many openly Xian sites.

    Philosophy is unavoidable. However, established schools of philosophies are not unavoidable. Thankfully.
    The Bible gives us the proper foundational beliefs. All philosophies that run contrary to the Bible are wrong.
