Is anyone else underwhelmed by Brandy Melville clothes? Like, the stuff on their website looks like things I could pick up at my local thrift store $2-10 but they sell them for $20-50.

As much as I love your channel, I guess I dont love a whole video based on a brand that excludes so many people. It's great that you feel great shopping there, I guess I just feel there are many who dont love the exclusive ideology of this brand.
Mia Maples is extremely sweet and I love her so much but I don't think she's very aware of her privilege.... She has the exact body type that clothing brands cater to. I understand that her mom is in some of the videos too but her mom is not at all "plus sized" like Mia acts she is. Both of them are quite thin and traditionally beautiful by North American standards.
Torrid is doing the same thing but you don't see people complaining. It's catered to smaller people just like Torrid is for fat people, not a big deal they're not discriminating

She could still do what she normally does but like you said balance it out with more sustainable options - even just using reusable bags instead of plastic ones would be a huge difference. Mia is literally the easiest body to fit (yet she keeps saying the opposite lol ok), that’s why brandy Melville fits her easily. The do clothes for this one specific type of body and it’s hers.
Not really I'm small and where I live there are only bigger sizes. Everyone's body is different and literally everyone struggles with finding a right fit. But nevertheless Brandy does need to have more sizes and the brand itself is catered to skinny white girls.
I agree. I love Mia but she says she’s hard to fit in every video and then fits into all the standard, small sizes. It’s just hard to hear for people that are a bigger size.
My sister is super tiny, she struggles to find clothing that fits her well because they dont go below like XS in the brands she likes. Im on the opposite side of the spectrum and I struggle because im between a 16 and 18 but nobody makes size 17 jeans and pants. So i do inderstand when she says its hard to find things that fit her well.
@@emmab2879 I agree Mia needs to be more appreciative of her body type as does everyone but you can't get mad at her just because she says she struggles with right fits just because she's small and you're not. Thats like me being mad that there isn't enough representation of Asian (btw I'm asian) women and blaming it on the white women just cuz they happen to be the standard. All I know is there needs to be more body diversity because times are changing and everyone deserves to be stylish and beautiful regardless of their size.

Although I think they meant that Mia has the body that all clothing companies try to make their clothes for.
Every clothing designer has her body type in mind when they’re making the clothes and they completely disregard other shapes and sizes.
So for bigger or curvier people this struggle is daily and they really have a disgustingly difficult time trying to find something that fits because no one cares about curvier girls or takes their needs into consideration.
I understand that it can be frustrating for all shapes and sizes to find something that fits but it’s a big problem for people who don’t have the “ideal/model” body shape and it’s just a bit frustrating when Mia says hers is hard to fit when it’s really not

I wear those legging fabric gymnastics shorts (I call them safety shorts, because kpop) underneath all my skirts, dresses and some shorts, I never worry about my skirts flying up and it's super comfy.
