I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕
I honestly forget she is blind sometimes. She’s just so in tune with herself and what she’s doing.
Morgan's World I’m honestly convinced she isn’t completely blind lmao 🥴
reign *
She can see light if it’s bright enough. Her mom tells her where the camera is and they have a ring light.
WAIT SHES BLIND?!
@@chiakinanami1118 yes lmao
Caitlin Tilley that was a joke...
They now say 'one size fits small", so at least they are being honest lol.
But it's still not accurate. I'm a small--5'4, 110lbs, 31/27/33. Molly isn't that much wider than me in comparison, and I know that it wouldn't fit me. Skylar, Sierra Schultzzie's friend, struggled to fit into them. She's basically my size.
@@Mothman_In_a_T-Pose i'm pretty sure skylar is a size medium, but you never know if they'll fit or not you have to try it on ur own
i also saw things that say one size fits most
@@Mothman_In_a_T-Pose skylar just had a baby tho didnt she. I dont think shes that small anymore right now anyway
Well there not cause they don’t fit......well as far as the jeans go
i remember being 17 and walking into brandy melville as a size 10 NOT KNOWING they were a one size fits all store. and GIRL....i had never felt so completely judged, out of place and just downright not good enough as i tried on the clothes that were not made at all for my body type. the girls that work there were awful too. they look at you with a "why are YOU here...." look on their face. i'm 25 now and i still remember the way that store made me feel to this day. genuinely wish i could boycott them for good :(
mallory hynes that’s awful. I’ve had experiences like that but it wasn’t in brandy melville. It sucks to feel like you don’t belong. Why can’t you boycott brandy Melville?
@@KBuysman1 Boycotting implies that you stop going there, but we can't boycott them if it doesn't fit us anyway. The people who fit their clothes are the only people who can affect their bottom line.
H P gotcha!! Thanks for clarifying. That makes sense.
I’m so sorry you had that experience, I wish I could’ve felt that instead of you. I tend to look thinner than I am so I fit the clothes somewhat and oh my gosh, The workers treated me kindly and didn’t really give me trouble at least verbally and seemed eager to help me depending on which Brandy I went to in NYC. I’m sorry!
@@javaholly you're so sweet! i wouldnt wish that feeling on anyone though. but thank you for the kind words ❤❤
I don’t have any problem with “vintage or old” fabric. That’s what drives me crazy about clothes nowadays- the fabrics are always so thin that they’re see through & just generally cheap & nasty.
MrsBungle78 yes. Agreed!! So different from just 15 years ago alone.
r u sure? all the things i’ve gotten are the nicest quality
peyton revy oh yes. I remember being a teen going to target or Walmart and the jeans were really nice quality. Macy’s had nice quality clothes. Penny’s etc. Now you go to Kohls or Penny’s and the material is thinner and cheaper. More polyester less cotton. Less quality in clothing now vs 15 yrs ago. I have a pair of Levi from when 11 yrs ago. Same style. Boot cut. Etc. but the feel is completely different and the thickness and durability is completely different too. You used to be able to find a nice pair of slacks for an affordable cost and it would last years. Shoes too. Now it seems my sneakers or flats fall apart so much mor quickly.
I have vintage clothes from the 90s for the same price range and they're still better quality smh
Until she got to the point where she was talking about the first top being pink (3:49) I completely forgot she was blind.
Then she started talking about a white tee and I had to take a reality check.
I know. She is so damn good. Her mother must be very proud of her.
I was confused. It looked white to me. Went and re-watched that part. Still looked white to me.
@@etonbachs4226 pause it, it's a really light shade of pink but against her white tank it's super noticeable
@@jellygrass8860 Okay. It's a very light shade of pink. I see it now. Very light.
So I'm actually a very tall slim person with no hips so the brand would fit me. I still don't buy it because I don't support the brand. It's not okay to make teens feel so insecure about themselves.
Call me Kiki ya exactly! I’m a size 6 and i’m a perfectly healthy weight, my waist is like 28 inches and my best friend fits in brandy and she has a 24 inch waist and some of their clothes are snug on her, if your waist is any larger than 24 inch you definitely won’t fit in brandy no matter your weight or anything. Also their clothes are made for people with really small cup sizes, i’m a C cup and their tops would never fit me because they have no room. Especially the dresses.
EDIT: Y’all chill!!!! everyone’s body is different i’m sorry if your waist is a 30in and you fit in brandy and I personally offended you 😞
Call me Kiki the store is also for girls that wear very small sizes and struggle to find clothes that fit correctly
You can be hourglass and fit into brandy, but your waist has to be around 22 inches and your hips 34. So you don’t have to be ruler shaped and there are skinny pear/ hourglass girls on their website that fit them they just have narrow hips and extremely narrow waists
Ok, some brands are inclusive to plus sizes, what’s wrong being inclusive to smaller sizes?
100,100 subs With no videos it’s not inclusive if it’s ONLY for small sizes
just a note brandy is not one size fits all it’s just “one size”
The reality of the brand is that it’s ONE size but advertise as one size fits ALL (not anymore now )BUT not all ppl being one size aren’t built the same so that what the problem is. In others words the point is that the clothes are built for a specific type of small body and not a size small for all smalls lol if that made sense.
Hi
Lucy Roelle Exactly
it sells multiple sizes 😂 genuinely they have jeans that are 30 waist and 22 waist lmao
Lucy Roelle their labels used to say one size fits all, they changed it around 2015/2016
The way she describes things it literally seems like she can physically see it. It’s mind boggling
Even though they cater to tall thin women they don’t cater to extra tall and thin which is what I am, the shoulders, pants, and sleeves are always off for me
Personally, I don’t mind brands that cater to specific body types, but they can’t pretend that it is universal (for clarification I mean they aren’t universal in the sense that a lot of tall S and XS can’t fit into their clothes even though that’s their demographic 😂)
Exactly. It’s such a strict size. By tall it’s really only for girls 5’8-5’11 and xs to small. So when people say it’s for tall girls they exclude very tall girls over 6’0.
they don’t pretend it’s universal. they say “one size” not one size fits all
@@chloe5375 one size, means one size fits all, which in every brand should just not be a thing at all, i have a friend the same size as me but my jeans won't fit her the same as they fit me, even though they're both a size 8 just different cuts, but they look the same on. one size is a ridiculous thing because the chances of more than a handful of people being the same size and same body shape and basically the same person is like 0 to nothing
Gabby Gabrielson that’s really weird... honestly I know y’all have as much issues with clothes as us shorter girls do( I’m 4’11”) I understand creating a brand specifically for certain heights because certain things fit different heights better. Like I can’t wear certain dresses because where a taller womans cleavage end would be... is the middle of my stomach lol and Ik y’all girls look like they have mini dresses on in skater dresses. It just seems dumb to isolate a huge portion of your target audience by acting like one size fits all means all y’all girls are built like 4x4’s. 🙄🙄
@@Dark-uk4oz so true. I'm 6'3" and a UK size 10 (US 4?) and could NEVER wear any of these clothes. Maybe the short sleeve Ts but they'd be a super crop on me. ☹️ No stores properly cater to over 6' really. Even "tall" sections start at 5"8. Which is NOT tall imo. It's slightly taller than average 😂
Hey Molly, I'm a model myself, but i'm 6 foot. I don't fit ANYTHING at brandy because everything is too short. And you can crop clothes but you can't make them longer haha. One size fits almost nobody.
Im an average weight for my height (5’5) but none of their clothes fit me because of my boobs, like their dresses have no room, and I’m only a C cup but their clothes are made for people who are average height, super skinny with no hips and no boobs. It’s so unrealistic
I can relate xD idm tops but pants and skirts are not gonna work
Sadly, I have to agree. Fairly easy to hem pants. Not so simple to add length to anything. 34" inseam.
Haha, I’m 5’6 maybe almost 5’7 (I’m 14). I’m a large in pants right now so I haven’t really tried Brandy pants, I ordered 30 waist corduroys from off the website so I’ll see if it fits properly (40 hips as of now). I’m a size small in tops, 30 Waist, 36 Bust, Brandy tops tend to fit my bust okay but some definitely some don’t, There are some that are 18 inches across that fit me really well I also have thin arms so the arms fit well and aren’t tight. It really depends, I plan on losing weight anyways so it’ll probably fit better afterwards, I don’t want to lose weight because of brandy, It’s more because I’d like to enter modeling and the extra weight I carry is unflattering. :) So Brandy works for some people for sure, Different girls wear brandy at my school, A girl at my school who’s alittle heavier than me wears brandy and it looks fine despite the muffin top, A girl who is thinner wears brandy so it really depends. In my opinion they don’t have to accomidate to plus size cause sometimes plus size is super unhealthy, Like the overweight kind of “curvy” isn’t healthy and brands don’t have to accommodate that. I understand wanting Mediums and larges though.
Claire Bressi same but i'm in 8th. my fav jeans are hollister bc they offer a long and an extra long! i definitely recommend them!
I hate the term 'boy body' because I'm thin, flat, and broad shouldered it's kinda hard with that body type to feel feminine and pretty as it is, but 'boy body' makes its hard to feel that you look like a woman when ur described that way
There no one way to be feminine or a woman. I know our society loves to police womens' bodies, but please don't let that get you down!
Awh im sorry about that! If it helps, in my head that body type feels very flowy and dainty yet strong, almost like a sunflower or a long lavender stem
Hope my poetic opinion makes you feel a little better ♡
exactly! I don't think Molly meant any harm but yeah there are nicer ways to describe straight-figured girls
same dude, ive always felt insecure about my body and brandy Melville is just gonna make it worse for everyone
cinnamonsticks honestly I know girls who are really small and skinny and I was there once too, and we couldn’t find anything that fit right, it made me and others feel like little boys and I would cry in dressing rooms and if I had Brandy back then I think it would have helped because it’s really small clothes that are flattering on smaller women. I understand the problem but I really don’t think it’s all bad, it’s also a European brand and correct me if I’m wrong but usually those brands don’t have a lot of sizes. But I think only having tiny sizes will be hurtful and not having small enough sizes will hurt other people, it really just depends on the girl, what we should be focusing on more I think is building up girls self esteem and showing them that their size and the clothes they wear don’t determine their worth. I totally get the issue and I don’t agree with everything brandy does but that’s just another perspective.
i just want to point out that being tall and thin does not mean you have a “boy body”
azp 04 she just meant no curves. Not tall and thin
She meant 🚪
She means like a cereal box
News flash “Straight” is a body shape, so I’m sure that’s what she meant
i’m pretty sure she means 🚪
"idk, I'm blind"! That made me giggle.
I wish tall didn't assume skinny. Any tall options I've seen never fit my hips and waist only the length of my legs
same!! I’m 177cm (5’8 I believe) My hips most of the time don’t really fit nicely into pants + when I wear pants sometimes they fit but will look too short cause my legs are too long. Struggles!!
I'm tall and skinny and finding jeans and trousers is a nightmare, I go a size up and the length is perfect but the waist is huge and my small booty is unflattered, I go a size down, it's perfect but half my shin is out and I'm too lazy to shave
@@elenastennett8660 SAME. Been wearing a bit too short jeans half my life. :) Especially now, when the already short jeans are all cropped! So frustrating.
I feel this but the opposite, I’m not super tall but I’m pretty fit and have very square hips, most of the time pants will fit but are heaps too long
Rebecca Winn- yes this! Also, because I'm plus size, there is an assumption of a very large bust (nope) and short legs. My inseam is 35 inches. So may brands thing 31" is tall....(Since everyone is including their height I'm 5'10")
I just don’t understand why they only have one tiny size. Like doesn’t it make more sense to have more sizes so more people can buy it?
i understand what you mean, but the store is just tailored towards petite people. yes, it is kinda encouraging diet culture and unhealthy standards, but it’s similar to any other plus size store and imo what teenagers do to fit into brandy melville isn’t brandy’s fault. they just specialise in one specific body type, and if you don’t fit that, then that’s perfectly okay too. just shop somewhere else
amrellist uwu but it’s not petite people my friend who’s an xxs/xs some brandy is like pretty big for her so it’s not rly a petite store
amrellist uwu not arguing wit u btw i shop at brandy and have no problem with them if imma be honest it’s jusg not a petite store lol
@@amre2181 I get what you mean, but I don't agree. Specially when you look a few years ago, brandy never promoted that it was a brand for petite people, it just said one size fits all. Now obviously that's changed, and they have XS, S or M marked in their items (although they only carry one size per item). I think it's a way of creating somewhat of an exclusivity so that people want to buy there, and want to fit in their clothes
@@amre2181 Petite = short. According to Molly their clothes are better suited for tall people.
This would have been a great collab with Safiya Nygaard.
i wouldnt want safiya to do it. it 100% not fit her and kinda be a waste supporting a very bad buisness
In modeling school, they call the “boy body type”, a ‘H’ body type.
Out of curiosity why did they call it an 'H' body type?
shakebuttercup i think it’s because everything alignes yk like there are no curves an shoulders waist and hips are equally wide but I’m not sure if that’s true just a guess😌✌🏼
Alinček svk oh that makes sense! Thank you (:
Alinček svk You’re exactly right! 👍🏼
Way more gender neutral way of saying it :)
These are better reviews for quality than I have found anywhere. I'm more about the cloth and the technicality of fit than fashion, and Molly is where it is at!
Sarah A. Saylors i agree
Definitely agree I actually come to molly before trying ANY new brand if she hasn't reviewed them I dont trust them lol
I feel that maybe she talks more about the quality and how if felt is because she is blind. She is more in tune about how things feel than how they look. So her talking about the quality is something I will really listen to! I trust what she says
Molly! You angel! I used to hate being 'too skinny'. I don't even enjoy shopping because everything is usually so baggy and if it isn't too loose, it's too short for me to feel comfortable. This is one of the few stores with clothes that really fit me well. Thanks Molly, for reminding me that I should love my body because it's mine and it's perfect. I'll never be able to wear the cute shirt in the window of Torrid but I can feel at home in a place like Brandy Melville. I hope everyone can love themselves as much as you do, enough to accept the stores we cannot shop and appreciate the ones that make us feel confident in our bodies 💟
Honestly, these clothes are so boring. I would wear them as PJs and to do yard work.
i bought the sweatpnats in grey to wear as like an outfit and with time the cotton just keeps expanding and the inner thigh parts have pilled they look like parachute pants so i wear them as pajama pants now cause theyre way to ugly and cheap looking to actually wear out
Literally, I thought the majority of them looked like pajamas
Fro Yo it is so interesting how other people have so many different styles! I love the plain Jane look with neutral colors and more fitted clothes and like you and Molly love the colorful out going look and I would never wear stuff like that! It’s really cool!
Fro Yo 😂
I’m really into the plain neutral look because I’m really picky with clothing but I can understand what you mean
*when u r so put together u have matching hair and nails*
Me: CAN’T RELATE
She's always matching
My left and right hand aren’t even matching 😂
Who else is LOVING blue on molly!
Marc Girouard yes it looks beautiful with her grey ish hair
She looks great in Navy
Yessss 😍
I’ve always had body dysmorphia and eating disorder problems and brandy Melville is one of those stores that trying things on in just makes me feel so shitty
This is so interesting, as someone who is also a size 4, but at 5'-9" and an hourglass shape with broad shoulders. So many of these tops that fit you would be too small for me and vice versa, because we have curves and length in different places, but we're still the same size! Bonkers!
I’m skinny, but never thought Brandy Melville was cute. Their clothes aren’t fitted, they’re just boxy and grandma style. Honestly, their clothes are more figure flattering on your body type than they would be on mine. The white top looks cute on you but it wouldn’t look cute on me. You have the body that can give boxy clothes shape and make them look good, but I have a body type that needs clothes to give me a figure. I absolutely love the pink top though!!
Rach H for me its just like i never fit anything so just going in to a store and knowing you can fit into all your choices
I relate hard
Polina Tkachenko im 5’2, a bit chubby, and pretty broad-shouldered with the same cup size so i always wonder if ill be able to fit into their tops. i don’t live near one but i wonder if i get the opportunity if ill be able to wear them.
Laina Reese yeah the reason I like there
tops are the stretch if u are try some of the Ashlyn tops they are rlly good quality
Maezie ill be sure to! hopefully they fit - i actually figures out that there’s one downtown that i can get to by sky train so i might go check it out.
Ok but I love that your intro is literally 👁 👄 👁
I wouldn’t consider a rectangle (straight up and down) a boy body. Idk I’m just so insecure about that and I never thought about it that way.
Avery Grace it’s been referred to that in the fashion industry so that’s why she used air quotes. Being more rectangular doesn’t mean you have the body of a guy, please don’t be insecure. It’s just a mean name for a body type! There is absolutely nothing wrong with your body shape!
I hear "model body" and if you look at her lips as she speaks that is much clearer she does not say boy body.
Avery Grace well the rectangle body is a model body so if it makes you feel better you have the ideal body type to model
its KayBe yeah she does, she says model body at the beginning and boy body further on in the video
I'm also rectangle shape and can't disguise as a boy. It's more of a teenage girl body. Boys would have wider shoulders.
omg i completely forgot she was blind until she said "or rather feel them"
Hey Molly, for my English class we had to pick a piece to memorize and present and I chose one of your speeches! 💜☺️
AH MA GAWD DATS WHAT I DID!!!!
aww thanks for liking
I did one of her speeches. I'm blind as well and I did one of her speeches about blindness at school
Where are her speeches??
citypenguin the one I did was at the walrus talks belonging, it’s on UA-cam and as an article
Its so interessting to see a blind person talk about fashion and their clothing style/estatics. Love it!
I believe you meant aesthetics rather than "estatics", but yes! I've been loving her fashion content too! 💕
I love that you focus on body positivity, for all types, throughout your video!! I have a eerily similar body type to yours, so I feel all the same struggles while shopping. The way you candidly talk about the comfort, or discomfort, of how clothes fit makes it so easy to recognize that it's the retailers fault for lack of inclusivity, rather than what our negative internal monologue tells us about our body... again, I love your videos and thanks for your consistent, relatable content!
*Molly dragging Brandy Melville for 18 minutes straight.* I love it 😂
my favorite part of the whole video is when molly says that stores should cater towards "boy bodies" but in a range of sizes. This is so important for people with this body type like myself but it should be more inclusive in size!!!!
I dont get why she had to call it “boy bodies” tho, like just because someone doesnt have wide hips doesnt mean they look like a boy.
@@deetgree4716 that's what that body type is most commonly refered to just like pear apple hourGlass model etc
I never heard her call it a "boy body" if you are referencing the air quotes around 5:30 she definitely says "model body"
I am so happy you did this because I’m 5’0 and I built JUST like you so thank you for this lol love you
I just want to be Molly’s friend and hangout with her! She’s such a powerful woman. So open and not afraid to speak her mind. I vibe with her humor so much and she just so damn cool! I need her to take me shopping too because I suck at it lol
I stumbled across you while binging Sierra Schultzzie videos and I am so glad I did! When I was a 0 (what seems like forever ago) I would always describe my body type as curvy and my friends would literally roll their eyes! How can someone as small as you be “curvy”. I love that you put it out there. It is all about proportions! I’ve been a zero, I’ve been a size 16. No matter what size I’ve been, a majority of my weight is in my hips, booty, and thighs. It’s refreshing to know that there are people out there that relate!
I find it really interesting to hear what Molly thinks about the quality of all the clothes. As a sighted person I often overlook how it feels.
To be fair they don’t call it “one size FITS ALL” anymore.
That doesnt make it any better...
I love her personality she‘s so honest and positive!
out of all the “trying brandy melville’s one size” videos, this one is by far my favorite!!! ❤️❤️
Love the way she talks about size numbers in such a neutral way!
Actually, Molly that cardigan looked lovely on you. It's nice sometimes to wear something a little loose, more relaxed. Like a pair of leggings or a tight skirt with the loose top would be killer
Idk...it's a clingy fabric so it's not flattering. A structure cardi would be better
@@GingerBun personal opinion, I guess. I can see what you mean, though. I just like some looser clothing sometimes and I thought she looked lovely in it.
Keisha Abbott i agree!! With the cardi you also always have the option of unbuttoning it and wearing it over a cute form fitted top!
The sleeves were way too long regardless. If its not functional then it doesn't matter
If I haven’t watched any of your other videos tbh I wouldn’t even realise your blind your amazing
molly's try-on videos are my favourite, I love how honest and real she is
I’ve never really enjoyed fashion videos, until I saw yours. Yours are one of the two fashion type videos that I’ll watch 💜
Holy cow I’ve never been so early!! Love you Molly! ❤️
I love listening to Molly describing the clothes. She's always so spot on.
brandy is really great for us girls who are so tiny that it is sometimes hard to find stuff that will fit us correctly
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My waste is low key to small for brandy
Albee Nettles then gain weight 🙃
@@ludovica6269 you can't just say things like that to people...
Kelsey Clark listen I know and i should apologize I just do t get how someone is that skinny... and maybe im just jealous
@@ludovica6269 I'm going to tell you that I'm 25, I've had 2 kids, and I struggle very much to gain weight. The way that it's difficult for some people to lose, it's also very difficult for some to gain. I 100% understand the jealousy. But jealousy isn't an excuse to belittle someone. The skinny comments affect you. And the gain weight comments affect us. Treat others how you would like to be treated.
Molly ur struggles are so relatable
I’ve been short with hips my whole life so pants never fit me
Me too 😭
With skinny jeans/jeggings i found that jessica simpson’s line fit me personally better than any other brands i have tried. Im a pear shape and generally no pants fit me properly but those were great
Katie Emmerton I’m petite but have always been rather muscular. Pants and shirts never fit me either 😭
Try the american eagle curvy fit! There’s extra room in the thigh and calves.
I saw that long skirt and thought. "I'd love to tie dye that skirt."
That would be such a cool thing to do
Same
Yess and tie dye is everywhere these days lol
Molly should do that off camera and show us the outcome randomly in a video
how is her eyeliner always so PERFECT im literally shook bro
almost 2 million subscribers Molly! You deserve every single one of them!
Love You Molly!
And I Will Support You No Matter What
happy to hear your opinion on how hurtful sizing can be especially with name brand stores. thanks for the video
THANK YOU for making my evening that sucked a bit. This was just what i needed😊 Love your personality and your channel!
I feel like I know more about Molly’s body shape than my own now 😂😂❤️❤️❤️
I loved the navy outfit - Brandy Melville reminds me of girls who go to Sunday school and have strict religious families
I wish Brandy was a thing when I was hitting puberty going into middle school! All the other girls were always dressed so cute and there was me that was too small to fit into clothes outside of the little girls sections of stores :(
Your hair, makeup and accessories are EVERYTHING!
I enjoyed the “what’s not ok is catering only to body type”. Mooooood!!
I love these videos! You look so cute Molly!
Molly you are so inspirational I love you so much❤️
That navy striped shirt and navy flowered skirt did look so cute on you!! So flattering😍
Yes! That hair is everything! This is my favorite color!!!
Imagine if a store only sold blue clothes, but made no reference to the fact that they only sell one color in their branding. That’s what brandy is. I don’t understand why they don’t just say that they cater to a specific body type, then no one would be upset🤷♀️
"Well I'm blind so I don't know" HAHA
I am glad you made this video
Okay but Molly girl, you need to make your own fashion line bc ur style is right up my alley and I love it.
Honestly never been this early even thought it's already been couple minutes
molly, your inspiring!
Molly, I LOVE your body positivity. You talk about this with a beautiful sensitivity-there’s no shaming of anyone. Just pointing out a discrepancy in clothing. Thank you. ❤️
I like how instead of just shaming tall skinny girls, you actually critiqued the brand♥️♥️
your 4'10"? omg im 4'9" dang short curvy people united!
Carla Tenaglia i'm 4'9 too 😌
Tee Gee STFU! body shaming isnt cute neither funny. Instead of being insecure about yourself, go build confidence but DO NOT BODY SHAME! it’s disgusting
Tee Gee lmao thank gd you’re perfect /s. But seriously she’s at a healthy weight and has spoken about that before, and not that it’s literally any of your concern at ALL, but she isn’t even at all... she’s 4’10” like maybe you’re just over here with no knowledge of women’s bodies 🤷🏻♀️
That skirt would be adorable on Rosanna.
I know right
I would be considered tall and slim by anyone who saw me, but I wear and 8 or 10 depending on the brand. There is no way I'd ever fit into Brandy Melville. I'm 6ft, so I'm just a larger person in general. American Eagle and Aerie are guaranteed to have stuff that fits me because you can get extra long online! Life savers!!
It’s so refreshing to watch a video that validates the importance of stores creating clothing that do not just cater to one body size. I’m considered “plus size” and finding clothes in stores is extremely difficult, especially in an affordable price. Clothing brands need to understand that there are so many body types of bodies and that they all need clothes.
The grey top would be so cute unbuttoned over a tight tank top, like a cardigan!
I love you so much molly you're very gorgeous, you look great, you're skin is glowing! but I'll stop so I can finish watching the video lol just had to say it
Molly is such a queen
That little elephant tat is SO cute! What a great design.
then there's me, a size 16-18 , watching this video as if ill ever fit💀🤣
As a 20-24 (depending on brand), I hear you
@@katdbris same!
I still can’t get over your hair! 🤩
Thank you so much for this video Molly! I think that it's very interesting to see you as a blind person talking about body shapes/types and clothing fits because I feel like you are more aware of your shape due to your senses and I love how you are very positive about curvy body types. You are so good at knowing details about fabrics and sizing even though you can't visually see the items. I also find it interesting that even though some of the clothes fit you, you are still critical about the company and how unfair and unrealistic it is to label clothing as one size fits all. Even plus size stores have multiple sizes! Thank you for spreading awareness and being authentically you!
I love watching your fashion videos because I’m also a pear shape and it really helps me find things that suit my body type!
I just hate the whole vibe of brandy. Its just ugly, and boring to me. Nevermind the like superiority complex of skinny is the only thing that matters. Im super tiny and even I hate that energy.
I’m super small as well and I really don’t like stores that only make clothes for very small girls. I wish some stores had wider size ranges.
then don’t buy it
@@beegiovannini2321 what about stores that cater to plus size its the same thing

Molly, I subscribed to you maybe 2 years ago just because I saw one video and I wanted to support you, and then for some reason I didn’t give you the time of day up until 2 weeks ago- I finally watched another one and I’m so happy I did! I’ve been watching you every day since then. I love your personality! You are so wholesome and sweet and adorable and I’m so glad to see your success. I want to buy your merch on my next paycheck. 😌
Molly sometimes I forget your blind because I am loving your content ♡ i love you as a person so much!
I actually am a size 24 and xxs (in abercrombie sizes for reference), a size 24-25 in levi’s, 00 in american eagle, xxs in express tops (they’re pants rarely fit me) and even I don’t like Brandy Melville. I’m short and have a butt so I doubt I would fit into Brandy Melville, I don’t have any store near me.
It’s so hard for me to find clothes that fit right so I don’t support stores like Brandy that aren’t inclusive. I love stores that expanded their sizes in more recent years - Abercrombie & Express both carry petite sizes and tall.
no matter your size it’s hard to find a good fit. we need more sizes, not less
I'm a size 6 and I used to think stores like this were horrible and it wasn't right to only have clothes for skinny girls. Especially with being in recovery for an eating disorder and knowing I wasn't the "thin type". But I've realized its the same thing as a store made for plus size people. There's nothing wrong with having a store for "skinny" people, but what's wrong is to advertise it as one-size-fits-all.
Fabulous Molly Burke . Beautiful,Talented,Charming and Low key diva !
i love your hair right now molly 🤍🤍🤍
I work at a second hand clothing store and I see Brady mellville come in all the time but I have to decide what size it is for the tag so I’m always choosing small for that brand
i'll be honest right now, brandy melville would fit me perfectly, i can't deny that, i'm 5'9 about 100 pounds and i have zero hips and curves.
if i went shopping with some friends, let's say my friends are, 4'10 and 5'3, one of them is plus size and another is curvy but with a small waist.
that's a pretty normal thing that happens in friend groups, usually you aren't all the same height and weight, if all three of us walk into a store and we are able to buy three outfits that are matching (obviously different sizes) if they flatter our bodies equally, then that is a very good store, i'm not expecting all stores to be like that, but they should definitely work on having petite, tall, large, small, etc of every single clothing piece.
I simply don't support brandy melville, or any brand that does either "one size fits all" or simply caters to one body shape.
@Tommy gibstain being curvy doesn't equal being unhealthy... There are a lot of factors that influence your weight and the shape of your body. I'm also kinda curvy but that partly is just due to my body type and partly due to the fact that I'm relatively muscular for a girl.
Tee Gee What? I am a healthy BMI and have a huge butt and muscular thighs, therefore I wouldn’t fit in their pants. It has to do with your body’s natural proportions not weight. A slim thick healthy woman might not fit into their things, and a healthy short thin girl probably wouldn’t either.
I love this, thank you 💖🦄 I love seeing all the try on things
Luvvvvvv ur hairrrrrrr💕💕💕💕
When she said it feels like a plaid pant I knew exactly the fabric she was on about
At first I thought: "Didn't the kitchen have an island?!"
Then I realized, it's the new apartment 😅
For some reason I love ur mom's voice. It's just so pretty! 😍
I can relate with the body shape differences. I am absolutely a rectangle. My hip to waist difference is only about 2-4 inches. My chest is about the same size as my hips. It’s very troubling because all of my pants are fine in the leg but have a couple inches in the waist simply because designers assume you have a big butt (of which I have none)
I know this is from a few years ago but this is very relatable.
