- In a future episode, I will be sharing some 'Why I Hike" testimonials from the viewers and subscribers to this channel. Everyone has at least one extrinsic or intrinsic reason that keeps them motivated to hike or backpack. If you would like to share your "why," please do one of the following: 1) Record a 15-second video clip (horizontal) stating your reason. 2) Write out a paragraph explaining your reason for hiking and collect a few pictures in action. Then send your response to rvoley@gmail.com. It's that simple. I'll ask you to sign a media release form, but that's basically it. I think this might be a fine way to help motivate others folks in our community to hit the trails.
Thank You, and Live Wildly My Friends.

Come on people give this guy some likes he does a good job
Ahh, shucks. Thanks.
Great upload man, I'll try to send you a short video of a few seconds in the next day or two (if I get home in time, I'm on the mountain right now)🥾
Thanks. I look forward to seeing it.
Sent! Hopefully the picture sizes didn’t blow up your inbox. 🙂
Got it. Thanks Glen. I sent an email to you
Sorry I was unable to send a picture. Believe it or not there are people in this world that don't use email. John Muir is an idol of mine and my two favorite quotes that sum up my hiking desire are: #1, "Who has not felt the urge to throw a loaf of bread and a pound of tea in an old sack and jump the back fence", #2"The world is a big place and I want to have a good look at it before sunset."
I’m extremely private. I hike because I it wears me out so I can sleep. I hike so I can cry & scream on the trail. I travel from USA & hike in the Yukon because it’s the only place in the entire World I feel safe as a female. I may be killed by a bear but it would be for food or I scared it. Not because it’s a male predator. I suffer PTSD from childhood sexual abuse & made the wrong choices in husbands. I hike to be alone. I’m safe. I’m safe. No one will hurt me. Take Care and Thank you for the incredible videos. If you want to remove this comment, it’s okay. I respect your discretion.
Thank you for your powerful testimony. I learn many things from the people connected to this channel - however, hiking in the wilderness can help heal a multitude of wounds. I wish you well on your journey.
