I loved how the Swissie stepped in to restore order. I wonder if she would have ultimately resolved it if you didn't step in.

Could we have your full answer here about what took place?

The shepherd was being overly dominant with head over the black dog and pushing him with its feet. Shepard was getting increasingly more mouthy. The black dog actually handled it well. The shepherd wasn’t listening to the black dog objecting. I’d have stopped it because there was a potential fight. At the end your dog (Jenna) jumped in between and tried to intervene. These videos are very helpful. Thank you for posting them.
My lab had these issues. Was just too much for other dogs. Too pushy. Ive been able to alter this over time by correcting him, but i still have to closely monitor his interactions with other dogs.
Since he was a puppy he was always a “frat boy”. Running up on other puppies, “Oh boy another dog!” He’d approach other puppies with too much energy. The mistake i believe i made was too allow too much of this style of play/interaction when he was young. I allowed him to behave like this in social situations when he was with a group of other puppies. He was in a puppy class where basically all they did was play. I should have corrected this too pushy, too much energy behavior back then. What are your feelings about allowing this type of play in puppies?

Great points here. I can tell you that the GSD is not being dominant whatsoever but he is being pushy. A dominant dog is about presence and not being pushy, overbearing, or excited.

Thank you.I understand your point about not being dominant, just pushy, rude and excited. Would love to hear what you see happening here in total.

Just as I thought, this needs to be stopped, you spoke up. GSD is being a brat, and each time he approached black dog he upped the intensity of the behaviour. Black dog was letting it be known he wasn't keen on the behaviour, then turned tables and said, "nope I'm actually higher up the pecking order than you", Shepherd went into play bow....but I don't understand what that last paws on the back meant....one last try? I don't know.

You could look at it as one last try but notice the intensity of that was way less than being a brat.
