Her relationship with Fred and George is pretty great! two favorite lines are when she comes up with the idea of having Fred and George make a distraction so Harry can talk too serious in umbridge's office and she says The thing about growing up with Fred and George is you realize anything's possible if you've got enough nerve. Then, for some reason, I like it when Fred and George find Harry later and say Ginny's been having a word with us about you.

Ginny going to the ball with Neville speaks volume to her character though. Even having a chance with Harry in that moment when Ron said that Harry should go with her, she didn't bail on Neville. That is an extremely loyal thing to do despite literally being lovestruck by Harry for the past 4 years.

I always found it funny that Neville came home late that night and bragged to harry about the time he had with his future wife. The movie made that funny but it also never got explored in any way. I always wondered "what in the hell did Ginny do to him?"

2 things missed. What slughorns potion smelled like to harry. And the fact that bellatrix almost killing ginny actually made him stop going towards Voldemort and head to bellatrix instead (only to be stopped as molly got there first)

the potion smell for harry is easily missed in the book actually i missed it the first two times i read the books and Yates wanted a more "realistc" final confrontation between harry and voldemort thats why we got that awful final face off with no one around and voldemort turning to ash they all where just awful putting all this together after columbus left everyone else wanted to do their own thing and not be faithful to the source

When I was younger, I didn't appreciate The Half Blood Prince as much because I felt it turned too much towards romance, but now I think the character relationships are what make it good. I love how the characters are so flushed out that the usually agreeable Ginny and Hermione can have a spat over if Harry's actions are justified. It really makes them all feel like really people. A lesser writer just has Ginny crush on Harry every day until they date. But Rowling puts them both through arcs and they GROW into a relationship. Great writing.

On top of that, Ginny's got the kind of parents you actually want to have as in-laws--that in and of itself is rare. If Harry's parents were alive they would welcome her with open arms the way Arthur and Molly did for Harry. That's also pretty rare among married couples.

It's actually more the fault of Yates, Kloves and Heyman. These three admitted that they shipped Harry with Hermione at the cost of staying true to the source material.
Why do you think Ron and Ginny got this nerfed hard by them?
It could just be that Dan Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright just didn’t have romantic chemistry. They were too young to test for that when the series started. It may have been necessary to recast the role of Ginny for Half Blood Prince to find someone who paired better with Dan.

Even when she didn't have scenes with Daniel she seemed awkward in the films because her character was written to have no storyline except being in love with Harry and she was written to have no personality.

Funny thing is that Ginny was the first girl naturally raised in the wizarding world that Harry (being muggle-raised) met at Platform 9 3/4.
Also, Hermione was the first muggle-raised girl Ron, a wizarding world-raised boy, met at Platform 9 3/4.
Later, this foreshadowing is full-circled when we see both the couples sending their children off in the Epilogue.

The main reason why Harry and Ginny were ruined in the film were because of Steve Kloves (the screenwriter for all but the fifth film). He self-admitted in front of JKR that he was a Harry/Hermione shipper and for this reason he butchered down Ron and Ginny hard.
This is why I genuinely dislike the films.
It honestly sucks, most of the people who do ship Harry and Hermonie have only seen the films, it’s crazy how awful they wrote Harry and Ginny.
Agreed! And the books had a level of depth that the films could not replicate properly. A lot of people are like "well you can't have a six hour long film." But none of us are asking for that. All were asking for is that the director and screen writer have the same characterization for the characters as the books, that they only add scenes that make sense to the story and characters, that if they have to get rid of something they find another way that make sense to explain it, and that they keep the relationships (romantic and platonic) the way they are in the books. The sad thing is that you can tell Alfonso was trying to make his movie as close to the source material as he possibly could, but wasn't exactly able to with Steve Kloves writing the script. People say the movies are close to the books but they really aren't at all and some of the dialogue they add into the films that weren't in the books feel super cringey. Honestly I could rant about this all day, but I won't 😂😂😂
This is a very grave issue : a screen player who doesn't respect the book and intentions of the author, making his wishes prevalent. Also the romance of Ron and Hermione has an important development from Ordr of the Phoenix, but Yates and Kloves didn't respect it, making Ron an asshole and Hermione someone who was not in the books. This is why I'm not really in love with movies

Imagine being so petty about shipping that you actually, even sounds like you purposefully butchered a character.
Her love turned from a heroic crush to a true love when Harry rescued her and stayed close to her after the others turned away from her because of what happened that year.
Their relationship is amazing in books, ginny is the right woman for Harry, she has grown up with six brothers, so she was fierce and strong-willed.
And the fact that she had a big family

Although she was sad at the time, thinking that she'd missed her chance with Harry, when not only did she realise that she'd already said yes to Neville, but that Harry clearly hadn't noticed her at that point, I think that it was better long term for their relationship.
If they had gone to the Ball together, I feel that Ginny would have had a pretty miserable time. Not only would her nervousness and self-consciousness reach new heights, affecting her enjoyment, but also considering that Harry was infatuated with Cho at the time, then he wouldn't have given Ginny the attention she would have liked.
people seem to forget this little moment here in GoF how ginny really hoped she went with harry but was horrified to know she missed her chance everytimie people try to say it makes no sense they never seem to pick up on this little piece of information prior to OoTP when ginny really comes into her own you really have to pay attention in PoA and GoF

Out of curiosity, what do you think of what I said about what would have happened if Ginny had gone to the Ball with Harry? Given how he treated Parvati Patil in Canon, I think that Ginny would have extremely hurt if Harry had treated her the way he treated Parvati (where other than the opening dance, he basically ignored her). In other words, I think Harry was one distracted boy, from a hormones perspective in his 4th year
@@SiVlog1989 i think ginny at first would be ecstatic knowing she was going to the ball with the boy shes had a crush on for ages he was taking her of all people to the ball but then that would of faded fast because harry had eyes for cho at the time and Ginny hadn't come into her own yet she was still at the super fan girl stage of her infatuation with harry she didnt have the the confidence she would have later on she needed the heartbreak of missing out on going with harry to the ball and needed to take hermiones advice and see other guys her relationship with Micheal Corner was more important for her then her relationship with dean who she only dated to get to harry she needed to gain the confidence she would have in OotP had the triwizard tournament happen in year 6 instead of 4 things would of been different but neither one would of been ready for the other yet in GoF
the one thing ginny had the advantage over Pavarti tho was she has been around harry over the pervious 3 summers so maybe things would of been different but it still would of hurt thier later relationship
@The Frontz Club I couldn't have put it better myself. Ginny talking to Hermione, asking her how to get to know Harry, was one of the most crucial unseen conversations in Canon. As said in the video, Hermione pointed out that Harry hadn't seen the real Ginny at that point, only knowing the shy and nervous little girl who was Ron's little sister.
Also like in the video, I find that the scene in the library in Order of the Phoenix, where Ginny talks to Harry about him desiring to talk to Sirius, that was really the first time (at least when I read it for the first time) the moment when I thought they could have a romantic relationship on their hands. Ultimately I was proved right.
The way they finally got hooked up and started dating makes me smile every time. I could tell by reading that it was a far happier relationship than his disastrous relationship with Cho the previous year, Harry could simply be himself, he didn't have anything to prove to Ginny. Time showed that they clicked on so many levels and it's great that Harry ended up marrying her :)
I wish the breakup had been framed differently. I didn’t even see it as a break up so much as Harry wanting to keep Ginny safe.

Blame Steve Kloves for that. He was a Harry/Hermione shipper along with Yates and Heyman. That explains why Ron and Ginny were nerfed badly for it.

Harry spent 10 years enduring abusive conditions and with absolutely no friends and - unlike Draco - he chose to reject his toxic upbringing and treat people with kindness and decency. He constantly put his friends and fellow students above himself even when they turned on him (which happened on more than one occasion). Not to mention that when the chips were down, he was basically always the one who got the job done. Quirrell, Basilisk, Dementors, Voldemort multiple times etc. In the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, he - along with Neville - was still standing when the Order arrived while everyone else had gone down. He was the only person smart enough to deduce the correct path of the Elder Wand and thus figure out that he actually had the advantage when everyone else who knew about the wand assumed Voldemort did. He figured that out in the middle of a huge battle. Good luck to anyone else in the entire series piecing that together in those circumstances. Not the first time either; just by watching Malfoy's behaviour in Diagon Alley, he deduced that Malfoy joined the Death Eaters, which nobody outside of Dumbledore (who already knew) believed. Harry's logical/tactical sense is very underrated. And in case anyone forgot...he willingly walked into what looked for all the world like a certain death sentence when he allowed Voldemort to strike him down, just so the world would have a chance to defeat him.
Sure, he's impulsive and quick to anger, but all that does is make him human. His kindness, empathy and courage far outstrip his flaws and bear in mind, he turned out to be a truly good person even while a piece of Voldemort was literally living in him. Wearing a Horcrux as a necklace was enough to amplify a person's negative traits, so imagine how much worse it would be with it actually merged with you. That Harry overcame that and an abusive upbringing to still be so good is a strength of character unmatched in the series.
Also, small thing, but his sassy snark is up there with the Twins and Ron for best humour in the series.

Based on the books, I love Harry and Ginny's relationship too. Unlike other canon relationships in the books, their's is a beautiful culmination of getting over nerves, getting to know each other and finding out mutual interests.
I know some fans of the books say that their relationship seems abrupt, but I disagree. Like you said in this, Ginny went from an excitable if shy little girl who had a huge crush on Harry, to the extent that she couldn't speak in front of him due to nerves, to being sad that the boy she loves doesn't notice her, to dating other boys, to talking more confidently to him (to the extent that he enjoys talking to her in her own right for the first time) and ultimately culminating in them hooking up in a romantic relationship. To me, a successful relationship isn't about how many times you can bicker about the most pathetic things, it is calling each other out where necessary and enjoying each others company (to be happy in other words) the rest of the time.
I've always felt that it was significant about the way JK Rowling wrote their relationship. Unlike with his relationship with Cho, where she wrote in detail his disastrous relationship with her, she wrote very little about his relationship with Ginny once they got together. Because it was a far happier relationship, she didn't need to go into detail about what they were doing on their dates, instead emphasising how happy he was

They could have easily made Bonnie Wright play a funny, strong goofball(like Ron) who stood up for her friends and had wise things to say to Harry. It would have been very brief and super easy to have her relationship with Harry start in OotP and culminate in the HBP, and have less of the Lavender-Ron dynamic. It's unfortunate the film writers weren't willing to do that. It was probably the worst change from the books to the movies in my opinion.

I've started reading the books, on Chamber of Secrets rn, and if I'm being honest, while I also like the story, Ginny and Harry's relationship is one of the main motivations for getting into the books. Before that I've only seen the movies and liked their on screen chemistry for what it was. However, I started watching videos like this and once I realized there was a whole deeper level to their relationship in the books, I contemplated about getting the books bc I'm not a big reader, but eventually went through with it and haven't been disappointed. Also, she's adorable in Chamber of Secrets lol

@@royalreviews5270 yeah I actually think it's better to watch the movies first bc then you can enjoy them with little to no expectations and then still like the movies for what they were after reading the books. I will say, one thing I don't like about the HP community is some of the die hard book readers calling people, who only watched the movies, fake fans. Like they're a disgrace to the series just bc they don't know about Peeves or something, sitting on their high horse bc they know a bit more about the story

First year, yes he made her cry, but it was because she snapped at him in a harsh and condescending tone. Later, he was even uncomfortable to see her in tears. They became friends after the troll was knocked out.
Second year, I recall nothing.
Third year, it was both Ron and Hermione's fault. Ron's temper was wrong indeed, but Hermione wasn't an innocent victim either. She was the one who kept her ears closed when he repeatedly warned her to keep her cat away from his pet.
Fourth year, unless you'll say Ron made her cry at the Yule Ball, don't. That scene didn't exist in the books. In the book, he was yes, horrid and making sexist comments, but he never ran her down to tears. Hermione herself ignored Ron and spent the right of the night peacefully with Krum. She only screamed and angrily chided Ron for his immaturity of not realising his feelings for her first.
Fifth year, he did nothing.
Sixth year, he was petty towards her by emotionally hurting her about a past issue that probably was true. But Hermione didn't take it as an abuse victim you're pretending to make her out to be. SHE ASSAULTED RON ANGRILY WITH HITCHCOCK BIRDS AND SLAMMED THE DOOR ON HIM. She also proceeded to treat him poorly at times for the remainder of their fight till his poisoning brought them to rekindle their friendship.
In seventh book, IT WAS A GODDAMN LOCKET HORCRUX MAGNIFYING THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF HIM. He also had sustained injuries and repeatedly kept worrying about the fate of his family. He repeatedly tried to apologise to her while she was beating the crap out of him.

If you're going to paint Ron as an abuser for the reason you think Romione is dogshit. You might as well add Hermione in too. It takes two to hate a relationship.

You know what, even if Ron was a dick to her twice or thrice, he was just a teenager, who felt insecure and scared to handle his feelings yet he made sure that he wouldn't repeat it again. He grows as a person.
It's funny that if you consider Ron a domestic abuser, you might as well remember that a domestic abuser doesn't beg Bellatrix to spare Hermione's life and take him instead for torturing at Malfoy Manor.
Nor does he make a prat of himself like he did in the fourth year and instead ask Hermione for a dance at Bill and Fleur's wedding.

Another scene of note is in the Chamber of Secrets book. At the bookstore Gilderoy Lockhart gives Harry free copies of all his books. Harry gives those to Ginny and says he can buy his own. He did it as a favor to the Weasley family, but Ginny may have perceived it as something more personal.
Also, you might have mentioned how Ginny has similarities to Harry’s mother Lily. They were both redheads who stood up for the downtrodden. Granted, Hermione was also similar to Lily in that they were both Muggle horns who were at the top of their class. But Hermione was also similar to Molly in terms of spotting dirt on Ron’s nose.
Who knows, perhaps Ginny considers the books as a nice birthday present from him (considering that this event was around the time of Ginny's birthday, which was in August). What is certain however is that this completely unprompted gesture makes Ginny fall even more in love with Harry.

I read the books when they first came out, so I never noticed how much buildup there actually was for this pairing, since the books were separated by years, and I would forget slight details. This is the first time I ever realized it. Thanks.

I like that in Harry Potter the characters had previous relationships before their final relationships (e.g. Harry liking Cho Chang, Hermione liking Viktor, Ron liking Lavender, et cetera, et cetera…) it shows how they progressed as people and how their interests in spice (plural of spouse).
Hermione never liked viktor she was just appreciative of him showing her attention did you not noticed in the second task was over she continued to blow him off to talk to harry hermione never had another love interest she only went with krum to the ball because the guy she wanted to go with ron was to oblivious and she wasnt going to wait around till the last minute
Their relationship is great in the books. But wow, the movies ruined the relationship. Don’t even get me started about their interaction in the sixth movie. OH…MY…GOD it was painful to watch. I felt bad for Daniel and Bonnie because it looked like they had no idea what to do. David Yates handled their relationship very badly. Other than that this is one of my favorite couples. Agree! I remembered how mad I was after seeing the movie for the first time ! I don’t really blame the actors though because even if they weren’t the couple with the most chemistry, a good storyline could have done half the job imo 😫 and the worst part is that people who have never read the books may never get why these two end up together … that and they pretty much removed a lot of interesting memories from Tom Riddle … let’s just say that Half-Blood prince left a very bad taste in my mouth 🥺
honestly I would still say the books could have done the relationship a bit better. As things are I felt like while they had enough interactions to believe in their relationship, they didn't have enough to convince me they "loved" each other as much as they did
@@marie-lo6616 I know. What I loved about the Half-Blood Prince is we find out about Voldemort’s origins. That piqued my interest about why Tom Riddle became Voldemort and why he hates Muggles. The movie only covered about 20% of his origins and focused more on the teen romance. I’m like, “No one cares if Ron and Hermione hook up at the end or if Harry and Ginny are going linger their kissing!” One thing I noticed is that film came out around the same time the Twilight Saga did and maybe Warner Bros wanted to compete with those films, I don’t know 🤷🏻♂️
I think David Yates or someone genuinely shipped Harry and Hermione so that’s why the movies are they way they are

"Let him watch while we torture the little girl", was what she said, but Luna is the same age as Ginny, so it could just as well have been her. Still the whole gang unanimously closed in around Ginny, all interpreting it as her. Maybe it's one of those things that Harry and the others "just know" (to quote that awful line from the HBP movie).
well seeing that harry has spent the better part of 4 years around ginny every summer and she was rons sister of course it made more sense that ginny would be the one bellatrix would be talking about plus voldemort can see inside harrys mind so maybe he had more thoughts about ginny in his head then anyone would realize

Honestly gives some perspective as to why Harry and Ginny is really the right match. Harry and Hermione is enticing for some because they’re both main characters and we know so much about each, but Hermione and Ron really makes more sense because hairy belongs with Ginny.
also the fact that in the books ginny is described in the HBP as a drop dead gorgeous girl to beautiful for her own good and Hermione is average looking as best plus ginny can take harrys fits of rage and bark back at him and shes a damn good quidditch player self taught who also is more protective of harry then anyone else hermione just can't compete with ginny

No longer being blindsided by the supposed suddenness of the pairing in the books, or by the way the movies portrayed the relationships and focused on Harry/Hermione.

As stated before I am Pro Harry and Ginny; but if it was not to be I have to say I pick Luna, not necessarily the one in the books. I like the Luna of the movies and the actress who plays her. She understands what Harry is feeling and can get through to him when others cannot.

Some people would have you believe that by the Yule Ball, Ginny was still sticking her elbow in the butter dish, which is obviously not true. I've never been a shipper in any fandom. But I love Harry & Ginny. I'm a sucker for the, "crush-on-someone-who-doesn't-know-they-exist-but-later-it-works-out" trope. It gives me hope!
It still pisses me to this day how much Ginny is despised among the 90% of the HP fanfic community.
She's always turned into this shallow gold-digging cartoonish nymphomaniac who forces Harry to enjoy his fame and be the center of her attention obsessively so that it justifies Harry breaking up/cheating/bashing her so that he can end up with Hermione or Cho or Luna or Draco or Snape.etc in any timeline. 😟
In the HBP book, Harry feels down for accidentally using Sectumsempra on Draco, and Hermione bashes him for it. Harry and Ron don't like it, and Ginny defends Harry by shutting Hermione down. I love that moment. It goes to show that Ginny won't let ANYONE hurt Harry. Not even her own best friend.

Rowling describing Harry’s feelings for Ginny as a “creature in his chest” is just brilliant writing. It made it so easy to imagine Harry’s intense emotions of jealously whenever he saw Ginny with another boy. A+ metaphor.
I loved that bit of the book as well. These two had been circling around each other the whole series, becoming increasingly bigger parts of each other's lives (having a crush is not the same as being friends), yet having the confidence to let each other go when it was not the right time.
Incidentally, I fully agree with Harry stepping away from Ginny at the end of Half Blood Prince. That was very wise of him. As the apostle Paul said, "But the married man is concerned about the affairs of this world, how he can please his wife, and his interests are divided". It was not the time for Harry's interests to be divided, he made the right choice thought it hurt them both.

I agree Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley were a bad couple in the movies especially the half blood Prince but I don’t think Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright aren’t to blame for their bad relationship it was the director David Yates and screenwriter Steve Kloves who changed the plot in the sixth movie to be more romantic rather than the darker tone of the book

Honestly, as much as I enjoyed Ginny’s development in book 5 as a friend to Harry and as a person in her own right, the idea of them as a couple never really crossed my mind while reading.
However, because the books are told from Harry’s POV I was invested in his story and what he personally wanted. He wanted to learn how to destroy Voldemort, so I was invested in his lessons with Dumbledore in book 6. Then once he realised he wanted to be with Ginny, I found myself rooting for him. I was a teenager boy once. So I could relate to what he was feeling. I wanted him to have that moment with the girl he liked. And oh boy did he get it. Their first kiss was amazing. And I could tell from the wording on the page that this was so much more different then what JK had described before with Cho. This was real for Harry. And even after they broke up for “some stupid noble reason” part me hoped they would find a way to be together again. And well, the rest is history.
As for cursed child. While I like the idea of them as a married couple and as parents, I don’t consider the play to be canon at all. Their scenes weren’t bad. The rest of the story just wasn’t my ideal continuation of the potter saga. Besides, JK didn’t write it.
one thing i hate about the films was how much they downplayed ginny in the chamber. instead of crying and sobbing in fear, all she says was “it was me but i swear i didn’t mean it” and then acts like nothing traumatising happened to her.

I have been waiting for this video for such a long time.
Great work, if you were to watch the movie and never read the book you would wonder if there was a Harry Potter 5.5 movie missing since from movie 5 they went from being friends to movie 6 in which they both have feelings for each other. I wish JKR would have asked for more Ginny in movies 5 - 8 to show why they belong together. I think this is the reason why some think Harry should have ended up with Hermione.
After watching the movies there are between 25 - 30 minutes that could have been taken off or done differently that could have then be given to building up their relationship. If they ever redo them they need to spend more time on that relationship because they did rush it.
Here is what I would like to see in a remake.
1. Harry starts having feelings for Ginny in the Goblet of Fire but due to his friendship with Ron he decides to go after Cho. Ginny tells Harmonie how she feels about Harry and her getting the advice to date other guys, which leads her to meeting Michael and eventually start dating.
2. In Order of the Phoenix, Harry see how funny and great she is after he breaks up with Cho. He invites her to spend time together with Ron and Harmonie, he doesn't do anything about his feelings because she has a boyfriend who she breaks up with after defeating Ravenclaw in a quidditch game.
3. In the Half blood prince Ginny is dating Dean, Harry is in the cafeteria instead of asking the waitress out, Harry see Ginny seating in another table. He looks out and see Dumbledore across the train platform. As he looks at the same direction as before he see "Ginny" is just another red hair girl that look like her. Harry see Dumbledore is still outside and he goes towards him. When he goes to Weasley house, he see her and say her name. There could have been a scene of them going out walking and talking about the quidditch season coming up. We see Ginny arguments with Dean throughout the movie and break up. After Harry uses the spell against Draco he is ban from playing in the quidditch cup. They end up winning. Harry who was in the stand watching goes running to joint his teammates. He see Ginny and goes to hug her, as they start separating they look at each others eyes and they kiss in the stadium. It is important that everyone from the school to see them together especially Snape. Everyone from the school is watching them. They leave the stadium holding hands. We see quick images of them going out for drinks, flying together, Harry carrying her on his back and it ends with them walking together into the common room holding hands. After Dumbledore's death we see them break up. I think this very important because now everyone see that they are no longer a couple.
4. In the first part of Deadly Hallows as he goes on his journey Harry watches Ginny on the map. Snape knows that Harry loves Ginny and they are meant to be together. He keeps her inside the school to give Harry hope and reason to go on his Journey. When Harry see the memories of Snape he realized that Snape was protecting Ginny.
5.In the last movie when Harry realize he must die after he say good bye to Harmonie and Ron as he is turning around Ginny is there. He tells her he must go and surrender to V. She wants to go and be with him. They realize that both are willing to die for the other, but Harry tells her she can't go. He gives her a hug and tell her he loves her. A tear comes out of her eye. Ron who already lost a brother decide to use the spell that Harmonie used on Neville in the first book. As she feels the spell freezing her it doesn't have any affect on Harry, but Harry did see Ron with his wand up and he kisses Ginny one last time before the spell freezes her completely and the tear evaporates. He puts her down and goes to the forest.
After V defeat we see News articles of the accomplishments Harry, Ron, Harmonie, Ginny and many of the other characters made in the years ahead through newspaper articles. We see Harry Potter defeats V, New Head Mistress of Hogwartz. Harry Potter helps restore Snape's portrait, Harmonie help magical creatures and becomes part of Ministry of Magic, Ron help captures Death Eaters, Ginny becoming a quidditch player. Then we see announcement of Ron and Harmonie wedding and last the announcement of Ginny's and Harry's wedding. Then on the screen with the epilogue 19 years later.
I only ever saw that whole Harry now liking Ginny but shes Rons sister thing during the middle of half blood prince it either didnt exist or was resolved at all other times.
She was perfect for him. They were same in many things. They were both brave, confident, had flaws and many things
This is why I prefer to read the books rather than watch the movies. The movies got characterization and relationships so wrong. Each character, friendship, romantic relationship, and family relationship made sense in the books. Personally I loved both Harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermione. The movies butchered those relationships though. Especially Harry and Ginny and they ruined Ron and Ginny's characters and made Harry and Hermione these weird perfect characters that we're unrelatable and so unlike the books. In the books Ron and Ginny are just as important and have so much personality and Harry and Hermione are great well rounded characters that have their strengths but also have flaws as well. That's why I can't fully enjoy myself watching the movies because it gets a lot of stuff wrong and focuses on things that aren't as important.

Then later, after Molly did indeed try to get it out of Harry too, and subsequently loads them up with chores, which Harry begins to suspect is to keep himself, Ron, and Hermione apart, Ginny says that she suspects that Molly thinks that if she can stop the three of them from getting together and planning, she will be able to delay their departure.

I think the best part of Hermione and Ginny's little fight after Harry attacked Malfoy was Ginny telling Hermione to stop pretending she actually understood Quidditch, or she would just embarrass herself!
Now I imagine, if they made a 7 season series based on the books with every episode based on each chapter

I think some of the awkwardness of the movies came from Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright knowing each other since they were very young and I think Radcliffe said in a interview that it was easier to kiss Katie Leung who played Cho than Bonnie. It’s just a thought but it’s also hard because the movies started before the books were finished
