Nicely Done I hadn't heard of HPRC till now. Now back to Amazon all day again... For as long as Pelican has been around The pull out handle is about as dorky as it gets from every other design. Bend the plastic? No, maybe for playschool. $1000 worth of Pelican small series cases just showed up for mission specific, and Pelican does a good job on them. Like the 1060 series,, to tuck in a backpack or tool system. Amazon features review I did on one.
Just to clarify, with the handle in the extended position, you can do this with one hand (collapse it)? I will say, it's possible to extend the handle without two hands, I just didn't realize it at the time. Not as easy or intuitive for me as a button.
Ed Verosky Yes you can. Pull the release tab and the handle will "uncatch", then push the handle down. I've never had a problem using one hand on Pelicans. I've owned the 1510. 1560. 1620. Just bought the 1615 which I'm excited about. Great cases!
+Charles Weaver -- it's not as convenient as being able to do it from a single position. I like Pelicans, too, but the button feature on the other is really nice.

I think that te actual competitor of these HPRC 2700W is the Pelicase 1610
I have a peli 1510. abd I only use one hand to slide the handle out. plus those latches look like junk
Sketchy, the Pelican you can retract with one hand as others have said.

+Philscbx -- thanks
thanks for this. Very useful.
You can retract it with one hand. Just push it away with your thumb, like you do on the other one. You get used to it.
Sorry to say so but it's just not true that you need two hands to unlock the Pelican handle

Ed Verosky super easy. I'll do a video response tomorrow for you.
Thanks. Attach the link to this set of comments so others can benefit from it, too. Appreciated.
A melhor de todas muito boa........
This guy must be affiliated with hprc in some way. Horc is much inferior to pelican.
You must be affiliated with hprc in some way. HPRC and Peli are of equal quality.
