It is pretty! Very natural, almost imperceptible, but gives them more depth and probably looks nicer to the eye even if folks can't see a huge difference 🙌🌹

Absolutely worth it. They look more natural. I also "paint" one side of my bag with either an even lighter shade OR with some white, so that when you pipe, the petals have a white or very light shade at the tips of the petals. Looks very pretty. Give it a try. 👍

I liked the look of the roses. I love two-toned flowers in nature! Nice! 😁 I would have liked to see the other ones with the drastic color change. (And we all know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.) I think I would have liked the cakes better if the top was left with just the big roses and then about 5 roses around the bottom that we're about half that size (or maybe 6... 3 of each color that were in the larger, color-changing ones 🤔), on a white, piped border, without all the small star tip flowers... I feel like those took away from the look of the cake (main roses). I felt like the "polka dot" effect turned something that started out elegant into something casual. 🤔🤷♀️
