Great video, very interesting. I do a bit of 1/18 vehicle customization, notably airplanes, and at the moment a Chap Mei AV-8B Harrier. What brands of paint do you use ?
Thanks for watching! I use a few different brands - mostly vallejo and model master acryl out of the airbrush, and for spray cans I use mostly krylon products and automotive primers. For anything handbrushed it's vallejo and citadel.
@@talkinghandscustoms2409 I don't know what it is, I TRUELY LOVE STEEL BRIGADE. I know it's partially the SKY BLUE, the tan and olive green all look so great together. And, I am an original 1987 ALUMNI MEMBER😎..Wish I could show you my cosplay uniform.
@@talkinghandscustoms2409 Ua brother, I have the correct vest to figure, correct knife, custom patches made and a ever so slightly updated look. All real military parts to my uniform. I'd love to show you.
I still dont understand the firebat plastic. I have had 2 sky sweeper ROC planes which is virtually the same mold but have never had any problems taking it fully apart. Including the wings. Has to be type of plastic used. Like the gold plastic syndrome transformers had in g2 through robots in disguise.
@@talkinghandscustoms2409 It is at Walmart in the automotive section I think around $7.00 or $8.00 . I was thinking of getting it for my skystriker to make into a night bomber.

@@raymondsheffield5366 a steel brigade cosplay? That's WICKED!! I agree with you 100% about the colours - and they look cool on a vehicle 😊

I agree! I did a Skysweeper in Sky Patrol colours with zero issue.
That turned out great! 👍
Thanks! A related project is coming up soon!
You can use a Dremel with a polishing wheel with a buffering cream to achieve canopy clarity
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
Have you thought of Meqruies headlight restoring kit ?
Thanks for watching - Sounds expensive?
