I suggest thinning your paints, using alligator clips and sealing your work with topcoat if you can get your hands on all of these

Looks great! I will pass on a tip I read somewhere for when using masking tape. In order to prevent paint bleeding under the tape, and if it is an already painted surface, paint the base color over the masked area before doing the color you actually want to do. For example, here, paint the green over the masked area before painting the yellow, and it should make a sort of seal on the edges of the tape to stop the next layer from going through. On an unpainted surface, you can use a clear coat the same way.

I know this is an old video, but I think I can help you as you had helped me with your videos.
When masking with tape you can avoid the infamous bleeding if you paint with the base coat or a transparent coat after masking and before applying the new color. That way you seal the tape's edges with the base coat, then the possible bleeding is the same base color and the new color can't flow under the tape. I hope I have explained well. Thanks for your videos.

Awesome custom man!!! I just got myself into black series custom and made up a clone captain for Commander's Doom legion! Now thanks to your tutorial I'll make one for myself but I have a question; is there a way I can remove paint from my paint brushes? I use mr.color's paints and the brush becomes stiff after some time even though I washed them and soak my brushes in water immediately after using them...

Do you do anything to it before you painted it? Where the joints move it takes the paint off, just wondering any help is appreciated and it looks great.
Hello, Nope just make sure the figure is clean and dust free, joints wise not painting them parts due to the black undersuit so all good to go!

Another great custom! How did you detach the upper torso? I've been tempting to repaint my Cody but afraid it might break if I don't detach them properly
This is a bootleg so the joint is easy to undo, with a sturdy pull it pops off, Cody maybe a min under a hot tape? But unsure how his torso and butt are connected 🤔
Are u still able to move the head with that hot glue? The figure looks stunning
Yep! Full articulation with the vasaline the glue doesn't stick to the joint, just forms all around it
