I tried it out myself but I found out I save more money going out myself and not being lazy and getting the exercise. With misfit I was going on average 150 plus a week but if I were to go out myself and do the shopping I only spend like 89 a week.
you can get this from food bank. it's free you can get once a week and all the food is gonna throw away anyway. i come to food bank to get veggies and egg. bread etc. come home and cook them all and save bunch of money. people throw away a lot of food. safeway have 50% cake, bread, and sea food on friday. (lobster tail 5$/Each) i ain't gonna spend these because they look exactly like walmart.
I shop at Aldi. Prices are cheaper, food is perfect and I don't have any unpleasant surprises. If the food goes bad after a few days, I can return it for a refund or replacement no questions asked.
Hey there! So I live innrural farming area with some "organic certified" farms and vineyards so I genuinely have some knowledge on this subject DO NOT pay extra for "organic" produce I swear to God all organic produce in grocery stores had been sprayed with chemical fertilizers and pesticides Yes it might be slightly less or a slightly different formula but it's still there and paying almost 2x as much as regular is not worth it But it's really easy for the kind of farms that supply grocery store chains to get "certified organic" status with very little effort While I STRONGLY support the idea of the farming industry doing everything possible to make agriculture as eco-friendly as possible I do not belive that consumers should paying paying such insane prices for what is basically the same thing Try looking for a garden co-op in your area instead
Thank you for doing our homework for us, and doing mail order shopping in comparison to personal in store shopping. The premise of Misfits sounds promising, but falls short of actually making a difference.
They lie when they say bell pepper that are funny shape dont go in the box, they absolutely do.honesty working at a grocery store showed me how much these new grocers and services lie to get customers
Thank you for the honest review! If I lived in the country where I had to drive a long way to get groceries or didn’t have access to a variety of grocery stores, these would be a great option.
Hmm I’ll have to go back and watch but I’m pretty sure I mentioned some positives 😂. Either way, I still use this service (or at least Imperfect Foods which is the same) weekly to this day. I personally like the delivery service and how minimal the packaging is.
Go with Factor_ it easy and cheap and simple. You just gotta microwave it or throw it in oven. Cheaper then misfit way cheaper and healthy to if you throw it in oven instead microwave if you that picky type.
Have not watched the video yet but I'm waiting with bated breath to find out if you think it's a good service, while having a referral in the description I wonder if you think it is worth it
I always try to put a referral link if one exists 😊, but if I don't like it I usually refer people to my playlist of other food delivery service reviews (I think I've tried 30+ at this point).
Unfortunately I don't have an Aldi nearby or a car to easily get to one, but I definitely agree it's not the cheapest option. I also love the convenience of delivery :)
Misfits Market treat their delivery drivers horribly. Management expects their drivers to get all the deliveries in short periods of times. 90 seconds per delivery. Drivers do not have time to take breaks. Including restroom breaks. I kid you not! Every day, the drivers receive a text message from their regional manager, “Your times are too slow” By the way, Misfits Market owns Imperfect Foods now. Terrible company to work for.
Can I ask If you know, do they get their rejected organic produce from big box stores? Just want to know if I can trust the organic label at the grocery store I shop.
@@dmadd12 From what I understand, Misfits purchase from farmers, items that normally get rejected from major retailers. Misshaped vegetables, for example. As for their items that’s available on their app, that I don’t know.
Thank you for this information. I totally believe that. I tried MM previously and had delivery issues, so I stopped using them. A few months ago, I saw that they merged with Imperfect and I thought that was a great move and had exciting possibilities, so I started using MM/Imperfect again. Lo and behold, the same issues started happening again. Missing deliveries, gone to the wrong house, etc. and never got a heads-up or a text that I was not getting my delivery. This time, my order showed "complete" when I checked the delivery link but it did not arrive. I checked my account, and saw that it was "Cancelled". Just "Cancelled. No explanation, nothing. I want to mention that MM (and other meal/grocery delivery services) use a courier company called "Axelhire". Axelhire is terrible, but yet they continue to provide delivery service for many meal services like MM and others. I don't why, maybe they are cheaper to use, not sure if this is what the problem is, but MM/Imperfect is too inconsistent for me to continue giving them my business. With great sadness, I have cancelled my subscription. I cannot depend on a grocery delivery service that is so inconsistent and has such a cavalier attitude about customer service. It is a terrible shame, as they have a very nice product selection and they do an excellent job of curating and presenting ingredients on their website. Services like MM and Imperfect have the opportunity to impact the world of food in a very positive way, but if they can't get their logistical act together, what's the point. I simply don't have time for this. And I agree with the commenters who say you are better off not being lazy and doing your own research and shopping.

Misfits has genius marketing. You think your getting a better price and doing something good but in reality you're paying more and happy to do so.

That's what I figured, and I just heard of this service a week ago.
If The company sent you a box for sure they presented their best work to you.

My question is, are we saying we can trust the organic label in our big market stores since this is where they get it from. Real question.

Which service is the best in terms of "quality" and affordability?

I just started misfits market because of health problems. I think it’s expensive.
to me, Misfits Markets and Imperfect Foods are the Aldi version of Amazon Fresh.
Thank you for the honest review! If I lived in the country where I had to drive a long way to get groceries or didn’t have access to a variety of grocery stores, these would be a great option.
HOW CAN I ADD A PRODUCT TO THERE SITE
My grocery bill is only $60ish every 2 weeks at Aldi…
how much long is aldi from your home
I got a box that I never ordered. I have never ordered from them at all. Anybody have any guesses why?
Ooh very weird! My only guess is your ordered from imperfect foods but other than that no idea!
@@MissSarahEK thanks for the response.
I would never use that kind of service because I enjoy going to the market.
I ordered and was sent a sweet potato the size of a plum 😒
ugh yeah that has happened to be before as well...especially if "size" if the stated reason for the imperfection.
Those prices are insane, and you gave literally no positives but still recommended it. WTF! I should've known as soon as you said it was sponsored.

Hi there could you telling me wich the best meal prep and cheapest one you can recommend to me

This was very helpful, thank you so much
I was interested in prices. Wrong video.
They are the same because Misfits Market acquired Imperfect Foods.
Yep!
Yes, and now both companies are worse than ever.
Can you review misfits vs thrive?
I’ve reviewed thrive before but good idea to do a comparison!
Why so expensive 😮😮😮 go to Aldi ,price is twice less
That's my thought. But not everyone has an Aldi. Or they live in an apartment building in a big city.
Unfortunately I don't have an Aldi nearby or a car to easily get to one, but I definitely agree it's not the cheapest option. I also love the convenience of delivery :)
Me when I bring a bottle of Jim bean to the meetup
Do they accept EBT?
No
Whats ebt?

It would of been helpful to show everything that came in the box and the price and if shipping how much. I learned nothing from this video.
Great! Thank you so much!!!

That sounds ridiculous. That's why I couldn't work for any of those delivery services.
It's pretty much the same price for groceries but you have to pay for shipping and other hidden fees lmao fuck this country

Creating false competition. Sneaky sneaky.
