I didn't expect the Coral to be so orange. I thought it would be more of a peach pink, but I like this color a lot more. Red is still my favorite though.
The red is so deep, Its like velvet cake its the best color but I also like the coral and skyblue also cant forget about classic black
The colours tend to look more vibrant on camera than in real life.

This phone is gonna make one *hell* of a dent in Android flagship makers' market share.
PS: The 'infamous' 820p resolution is not really gonna be a deal-breaker (by any means) for most people. iPhone displays are traditionally so good in terms of image quality that they more than make up for the lack of sharpness. Even 750p & 820p res iPhone displays are more pleasing to look at than Androids with twice the number of pixels. What Android fanboys don't seem to understand is that 'pixel density' isn't the *only* measure of a display's quality. The color gamut, color accuracy, contrast ratio, viewing angles, brightness, and even the 'eye-friendliness' quotient (how harsh/otherwise it is on the eyes) of a display are as important, if not more, as its pixel volume. Go ask DisplayMate. Sure, it's good to have a very high PPI count but it's not a 'must' for a good viewing experience. Besides, a lot of people would gladly be willing to sacrifice pixel density for better battery endurance. It's seriously time Android fanboys stopped playing the dumb 'numbers game'. iPhones have almost always beaten Android flagships despite having *fewer* 'cores' in their processors, *lower* RAM, *lower-res* cameras & *smaller* batteries! 'Bigger' & 'more' ≠ 'better'. Apple is going to prove that yet again with iPhone XR.
Its not gonna make a dent, 750 bucks for this phone is already a ripoff. oneplus 6 is definitely a better option than this phone also android offers more to their customers unlike apple who only wants to be greedy and make their unreasonable when I can get budget smartphone with near build quality and performance smh
Also note there, android has better flagships pixel has already proved that, galaxy s8, s9, note 8, note 9 are neck to neck with iphone 10. apple consumers need to realize that android is ahead and makes phones at a reasonable price.

PPI is so over rated it’s ridiculous. For normal usage you won’t be able to tell. The only reason you need such high pixel density is for AR which apple doesn’t do and to overcome the limits of the pentile pixel arrangement OLED phones use. 326 PPI in lcd is not the same as 326 PPI on pentile OLED
its depressing that they at least didn't put 400ish something ppi with 1080p to at least match 7plus, 8 plus etc. but still I will wait to go and see in stores how good/bad the display is

I like it, it's actually a nice phone with respectable specs but it's meant to be a budget device and $750. With taxes and perhaps a case and screen protector you're well over $800. And that's flagship prices.... So if this phone was a solid $599. I'd be like ok. So I would rather get a real flagship if I'm willing to spend over $700.

people keep for getting you are not just buying a phone you are buying a name brand phone.....i just bought a 55in spectra television for 280 a sony sharp or samsung would have cost me way more to basically do the same shit and that is display content so at the end of the day its ones own preference of what they are willing to spend their money on so i dont see why everyone be making such a fuss

I still don't see the value in the XR beyond the A12 and the rear camera. It's not truly a budget model, especially since apple creates the prices for the whole market, saying "well the XS is a thousand, still doesn't *Really* justify all the compromises it makes.
Apple never said it's a budget model. Leakers and youtubers ahead of the release called it a budget model, that's not Apple's fault. Also there's more to the XR than the A12 and camera, there's the ecosystem. The ecosystem is what allows Apple to charge as much as they do because no other company can compete with their ecosystem.

The iPhone 6, 6s, and 7 were always considered premium smartphones, never budget smartphones. The XR costs more than what they did at launch. What is your justification as to why the XR should be considered a 'budget' model?

(compared to XS and Max) what's your justification for its price point?
Again, every iPhone from the iPhone 6 to the iPhone 7 was premium. The iPhone XR has better specs than all of them. It's thus not a budget phone. The XR has worse specs than the XS which is why it is cheaper than the XS as it costs less to manufacture. Let's say Apple made a really innovative phone which has far better specs than the XS and XS Max (which would cost a lot to produce) and charged $2000 for it. Would that make the XS and XS Max budget phones because they have worse specs than the $2000 phone? If your answer is no, the same logic should apply to the XR not being a budget phone solely because the iPhone XS and XS Max have better specs. The iPhone XR is still a premium phone.
0:55 HOLY christ, after looking at the XS we have at home for over 2 weeks now, I almost did a backflip when I saw the screen on the XR. They are worlds apart, those bezels are absolutely huge for a 2018 premium phone, wow. And that's WITHOUT a case on it - not a comfy trade off.

I like this a lot actually. I really love the Blue color option. The display is gorgeous and is pretty much all screen. Face ID looks speedy and A12 looks smooth af. Good price too.

Ziich It does. LCD technology isn’t as advanced and the display can’t be folded at the ends as the X and Xs that use Oled

Die Auflösung ist nur ein Faktor von vielen, wenn es um die Qualität eines Displays geht. Farbdarstellung, Helligkeit, Kontrast, Reflektionen, Blickwinkelstabilität... sind ebenso wichtig. Zudem schont eine etwas niedrigere Auflösung den Akku.
So don't buy it simple why u even have to complain???

You know what is the meaning of quality.It's useless if you have 2k display but low quality which is not good in colour accuracy, colours shifting every time you tilted your phone,colours production is poor and not so bright.

For all those people saying the iPhone XR is crap compared to *insert popular android phone*:
It's not a flagship phone, the s9, p20 pro, oneplus 6 and pixel 3 xl are all their own respective companies flagship models. This is supposed to be the more friendly, cheaper option. Don't attack the phone for it's smaller camera and worse screen - that's whats taking that $250 off the price tag.

Funny thing is the performance of this phone will hang with all of those and beat some, camera will be awesome and this phone Wil still be getting iOS updates in 2022 how many of those phones can say that? Even the pixel is only promised 3 years of updates.. The iPhone 5s got iOS 12 the phone is 5 years old.

it doesn't have less features, the only features it doesn't have is telephoto lens and a 820P display. but you are getting the same specs as the iphone XS. so it's not really a budget but more affordable premium device.

Yes Apple has the most powerful smartphone chip, that is the only thing that they have. They can atleast add an oled 1080p on XR but they won't because they know people are gonna buy that anyway because its 🍎.
