i drove today this car and is a freaking menace, the acceleration is insane, the sound makes you want to push it to the top. What a Car. No words to explain
The color of this car is the same as that of Taiwan's taxis. The interior texture is superb, as well as the handmade German straight car stitching and high-grade leather. The barrel seat has good covering. There is also a thick anti-roll bar on the lower chassis, which is believed to have excellent balance in cornering and high-speed cornering. Modern turbo cars are boring because of the linear powerbands, yes it's great for everyday driving, but it's not exhilarating. So big props to AMG for realising that a fun and sporty car needs a more progressive powerband. Besides that it also sounds much better than the old one, and looks really good too
This is a great video of the a45s. It's no secret that the exhaust has been disapointing on this car due to the eu regs but it actually sounds quite nice and fun to drive inside here. I'm guessing this is due to what AMG call "real active exhaust" the exhaust button pumps in real sound from the exhaust rather than generating fake noise.

Admitted, I'm a real BMW fan. But holy moly, this A45 S is incredible! I just fell in love with this car. I love the interieur and the lighting, BMWs look so cheap compared to this. I love the engine and the exhaust sound and the performance. The only thing I don't love but still like is the exterieur. The back looks not Mercedes-like. Anyway, I love this car, if I had the money I'd ditch BMW for one leasing period and would get this one instead with the spoiler. Absolutely gorgeous.
I don't personally like the rear or the sound but what a car! Interior is nice! For me personally, put a turbo V6 and a manual in and I would pay more!
Mine got also pushed from December to April/June 2020 but that is ok. I have my old CLA45 to drive in the meantime and the new CLA45S doesn't come with winter tires anyway. I can wait until Spring. :)
Bad? There are a lot of cars that could take 5 to 6 months before delivery. I actually think it’s decent, considering every engine is crafted by 1 person at Affalterbach
Well, that looks like a fantastic all round hot hatch - with blistering performance. If you are doing an all round review, I really think you should give us a glance in the back with available leg room and also a glance in the boot. You don't need to go mad and try and get in the boot or spend much time doing it. The review would be more complete. Anyway, that's my opinion.

It's not the same gearbox like in A35. A35 has only 7 gears, while this one has 8 and the gearbox is specially made by AMG for 45/45s
