I want to see George Lynch live. Never have. I got to see Jeff with Foreigner which was awesome. They introduced him, said he was a badass and one of the essential pieces of the puzzle in the 80's
@@lukewilliams8916 As a lifelong Dokken fan who has seen them quite a few times, the highlights for Mr. Scary's playing were the Too High To Fly performance on the Dysfunctional tour and the first Lynch Mob tour. Dokken will always reign supreme as a group, but to see George spread his wings solo for the first time was amazing. Will never forget it. At least until Don D's Up From The Ashes supergroup came through in the same club. Equally as bad azz. To see George, John and Billy all on stage at the same time ripping through a set list of LM, Dokken and Ashes greatest his would be AMAZING. If they wanted to through in Mick and Mikkey holding down the back end together, and Jeff, Peter and Anthony laying down a 3 piece groove, maybe even have Don, Oni and Robert share vocals, we'd be a million times on board with that too.
I've known George since 74 & MOST people don't know this but MANY TIMES Live w/DOKKEN, if for some reason Don needed him, over in the dark out of the Spotlight, Jeff took over on Lead Vocals...Jeff is AMAZING ... he plays rhythm & lead guitar, keyboards, bass, bass pedals, lead, back up and harmony Vocals Live and Vocal Arrangement in the Studio & Jeff is an excellent Engineer/Producer too! There would be NO DOKKEN without Jeff & George will tell you himself :-) and Jeff is a really cool guy!
I have met them all and have seen them live MANY times, always standing directly in front of George. The venue I saw Dokken and Lynch Mob at the most was awesome. It was like getting free guitar lessons from Lynch where the audience was in relation to the band. Quite up-close and he was jamming 2 feet in front of me. Jeff is so personable and is also the f&^%ing man. All I have to say. He is a top-rung musician.
That's cool. In the early 90s, I was fortunate enough to see dokken once live, in a small venue, up close and personal. I felt bad that attendance was low but happy to have experienced an almost private concert. George is amazing!
Josh MagbuhatGeorge Lynch's up there with EVH,Yngwie,Michael Shenker,Randy...I really loved the 80' guitar shredding era and still do but by the early 90' i have to say that the all thing was becoming pathetic. There's is only one and unique EVH or Mr Scary and guys like P Gilbert,Zakk Wylde,Vito Bratta,Vai etc etc just came to late one the scene. Dimebag came out of the lot but that's about it...but the spirit still here and that's the main thing! Hello from France :)
THis was the first song that turned me onto DOKKEN back in 85. Great to see George and Jeff here..rockin out. Saw them open for Ac/Dc back in 1988...one of the best live bands ever.
Not sure what you 2 idiots missed, but he said "better than all 80's singers" not "for a singer that didn't come out of the 80's he sings better than all of the singers from that era" PAY ATTENTION!
Jeff is having so much fun and is now my spiritual animal 😂 Lynch is a God! Kinda wish Don could’ve joined them here and Michael Starr could’ve helped him our vocally
Like other comments...These cats are bringing the metal BACK!, Thats why the big names are jamming with them because they are good players and bringing it around again. I fucking luv these guys....ROCK
Lol. The crazy thing is that these guys were just “screwing around” having fun ( probably with little or no previous practicing of the song together ). Unbelievable..
probably at sound check during the early afternoon they rehearsed this...for the evenings performance....great band great stage presence, great comedy, acting etc...
I seen Steel Panther twice in Concert, in the last 3 months. Last one was 2 weeks ago, the other in April, and I was front row. I studied the way Satchel played, in between him and Michael Starr dry-humping our faces. I'm also a Lead Guitarist. I can honestly say that Satchel is fucking Ridiculous!!!! He really is. He's like a human iPod. In concert, he makes no mistakes, and sounds better than any guitarist, he mimics. He also, played Kramers, both times.
All these comparisons kind of turn my stomach a little. I love all my heroes. Mr. lynch has a touch to the guitar that is only rivaled by his humbleness. He brings a smile to my face every time I hear him.
i like that steel panther has brought back and is keeping the spirit of the 80s alive. its also really cool when guys from those great bands get up and play with them too.
Agree Pax, Jeff is an awesome vocalist. The demo's for dream warrior are insane and showcase his range. I remember George from the Boyz and then Exciter. My then drum teacher Drew Forsyth was in Quiet Riot so I met a ton of guy's through him and took drum lessons at Randy Rhoads moms music school Musonia in North Hollywood from Drew.
As a born again christian I try not listen to Steel Panther because of the language but must say Ralph has the most amazingly wonderful singing voice and the rest of the band is so darn talented.
Does anybody else think that George Lynch is one of the most underated guitarists ever?? The dude can shred like fuck but also keeeping it melodic!! Metal god
Yes!!!!! Pilson does deserve credit. We all focus on the guitar player and the singer. But every member is important. How would this song sound with out a drummer? How about the techs, the stage hands that make this possible. Rock on.
Wow! Jeff and George playing with Steel Panther! I wanna see them in concert just to see who's the next badass 80's rock band to join them on stage! Dokken and Steel Pather, two of my favs playing together, does it get any better? (Hey that rhymed!) Thank you Steel Panther, for making rock n' roll fun again!
Lynch is one of my favorite guitarists, but Jeff has sooo much talent and was the backbone of Dokken.
I want to see George Lynch live. Never have. I got to see Jeff with Foreigner which was awesome. They introduced him, said he was a badass and one of the essential pieces of the puzzle in the 80's

Jeff Pilson has one of the best stage presences. The dude is insane to watch
goddingdc91 total package, slays the bass, stage presence and a killer voice
@@drill2.087you forgot writes the music too Brother. He’s amazing.
Great vocals from the Steel panther singer... perfect
Jeff Pilson= THE MAN!!!!
Pilson brings the energy and passion. He's the benchmark for Rock Bassists. Great voice too. Rock on brother!

Jeff pilson. Is a awesome bass player and singer
Saw dokken with only don. Not the same band
Gotta love Pilson and Lynch. Both always had great stage presence and Pilson has a great voice for backing vocals.
It must be so great for George and Jeff to hear a singer hit the notes and sing the right melody.
Not sure how to rock? Just watch Jeff Pilson
I can't believe I lived to see this. George lynch is a legend.
George Lynch will forever be in my top 5 guitar players of all time.
Same here!
Much of my life has centered around George's music.
May I ask who your other 4 favorites are?
Same here (Lynch, Rhoads, EVH, Yngwie, Vai)
#1 as far as I'm concerned.
maybe not top 5 for me, but definitely in the top 10.
Guitar God. Its sad that these types of players don't exist anymore. Nothing but heart and soul comes out of his guitar.
and George self taught too.
Josh MagbuhatGeorge Lynch's up there with EVH,Yngwie,Michael Shenker,Randy...I really loved the 80' guitar shredding era and still do but by the early 90' i have to say that the all thing was becoming pathetic.

Agree,same league,Whitesnake ruled with him,Blue Murder's was a killer.
Hi from France :)
And what about Mick Mars,Slash? lol
Just kidding!
Steel Panther can play anything with anybody, having George and Jeff a treat
THis was the first song that turned me onto DOKKEN back in 85. Great to see George and Jeff here..rockin out. Saw them open for Ac/Dc back in 1988...one of the best live bands ever.
RICKY DEAN saw Dokken open for Twisted Sister in 86. Saw AC/DC in '88 as well. cinderella opened up
Always good hearing lead and rhythm going at the same time when this is played live.
I haven't heard it done this well in years! Awesome!!
Great job by Michael. Sounds awesome. Best "Steel Panther Guest Song" ever!
This is what it's about !!!these guys are having fun..Lynch and Pilson look HAPPY... THEY Never looked this Happy playing with Don
Fun Fact...Jeff Pilson used to play with Satchel (Russ) in a band called War & Peace.
Steel Panther's been bringing the best memories on stage, live n alive, that makes two kicks in the ass lml
AMAZING! I loved it. Even as a Dokken fan the singing was really great. Loved seeing George and Jeff together like that.
George and Jeff Killin it! The rest of the band is also great!
dont forget Jeff Pilson on bass ! nice
Best live version I have heard since Beat From The East! NICE!!
Michael Starr actually sings better than all 80's singers, it's pretty amazing
Umm he is an 80s singer.
Ralph saenz is a singer from 80s
Not sure what you 2 idiots missed, but he said "better than all 80's singers" not "for a singer that didn't come out of the 80's he sings better than all of the singers from that era" PAY ATTENTION!
@@asieffhusein8270 More like mid-90s. He's not that old.
@@rsmith02 he's old, satchel always said that he's 70 😂😂
almost all the dokken songs were very cool (especially guitar wise) and lynch mob had some good one's like wicked sensation
george lynch is just a bad ass gee-tah player, rock on Mr. Lynch, great stuff
Jeff is having so much fun and is now my spiritual animal 😂 Lynch is a God! Kinda wish Don could’ve joined them here and Michael Starr could’ve helped him our vocally
Lead singer Ralph Saenz AKA Micael Star is amazing. He impersonates the voices of all the singer's he is covering Don Dokken, Vince Neil, Ozzy etc.
No words for how talented Mr. Scary is. Literally.
Lynch and Starr are great together.
Wonder why they didn't mention Jeff Pilson ??? The man Rocks !
Wow, this cover version of Dokkens'song Into The Fire is Awesome.Yes George Lynch and the rest of the guys are hot.🔥🙌❤
Love this song, this rendition was awesome!
Like other comments...These cats are bringing the metal BACK!, Thats why the big names are jamming with them because they are good players and bringing it around again. I fucking luv these guys....ROCK
Long live 80's metal
This was a better Dokken than Dokken.
I am blown away by how tight this performance was!
Lol. The crazy thing is that these guys were just “screwing around” having fun ( probably with little or no previous practicing of the song together ). Unbelievable..
Remember, Satchel played in Jeff Pilson’s band “War & Peace” after Dokken
He played for all the old timers!
Did not know that. Go tta see if i can find it somewhere.
Also played in Halfords band Fight
I like how Michael tries to get George to join the unison dancing, and he's like "dude, I'm rippin' it up right now!, go away"
probably at sound check during the early afternoon they rehearsed this...for the evenings performance....great band great stage presence, great comedy, acting etc...

George Lynch? Humble? Please tell me you’re joking. George Lynch is an egomaniac and the reason why Dokken broke up.
one of the best groups ever dokken not panther lol. George lynch one of my fave guitarist ever. top 10 ever.
This is so awesome
i like your picture
Jeff Pilson and George Lynch!
George Lynch must have been stoked to play alongside the legendary Satchel! \m/
This is the coolest show of the century!
Jeff Pilson is there too
