Name any singer you know of, sabke voice pe tuning hoti hai, ajkalka music hi aisa ban gaya hai ki agar perfect nahi sound karega toh aap log sunenge nahi, koi bhi gaana tuning ke bagair release nahi hota!! Isiliye agar aap ek musician ho, aur aapko purane gaano ke audio ke sath kuch bajana hai toh aap kar nahi paogey kyuki aapke instrument ki aur us gaane ki tuning match nahi karegi... Koi bhi chord ya note bajalo galat hi sound karega kyuki aapka instrument 440hertz pe tuned hai kyuki wo digitally tune hota hai aur purane zamane mein tuning fork use hota tha jo 440hertz nahi thaa, usse thora kam tha!! Isiliye kuch kuch purane gaano ke instrument thode se besure lagte hain, kyuki unki frequency match nahi hoti... Ye problem na ho isiliye abhi digital zamane mein 440hertz pe sab kuch tune kiya jaata hai including vocals, taaki kuch bhi besura na sound kare!!Aur isse us singer ki kabililiyat kam nahi ho jaati...

Autotune is a big subject it's just not changing the vocals but mixing aligning pitching etc.
