This cannot be true: Elvira and Gilda at the Met? I think the MET should really reconsider the quality of the singers they hire. This sounds worse than some conservatory students, there's no doubt about that. Let's keep it simple: her singing sounds tired, effortful, terrible phrasing, breaks and breaths in the middle of the words. This might work now because she's young but in ten years nobody would remember her. Let's not go any further than Luciana Serra, ok the voice was ten times larger than Olga's and she was considered a leggero and I agree with that . How did she last so long, in the end she even took heavier dramatic belcanto roles. A great technique, is the answer.
DISASTER. I think she should be fired from Rigoletto 2017! This woman cannot sing at all. Catastrophe!!!! She must have practised the oldest job in order to sing at the Met.

I heard the entire recording. Absolutely amazing! Loved the voices, could feel the emotions even without seeing the singers. Wonderful production!
