Kwinn was really popular when I lived in Alaska as a kid in the early '80s. We wished for a Kwinn action figure but we only got Snowjob for the Arctic.
Go to a local comic shop in your area. Most shops have sections of older comic books for $1-$8. Going on Craigslist or the like is also a good way to find entire collections for sale by people that you can work with on the price.
Awesome! Totally awesome video of Kwinn. Great job Jesse! Would like to see video's on Claymore and Cross Country. Hey Jesse were there any Joe's from Guam or Puerto Rico? Just curious. Keep em coming.
Bryan Sardegna what’s there to say about claymore he hasn’t appeared in any media beyond that tape that came with the figure. Sure there was that cobra trooper from the traitor but I’m sure there was no intention for him to be related.
I was talking to an army bud of mine that told me Kwinn was developed by Buzz Dixon. It might be true but all of us were stationed in the same company and ironically enough, my name is Kwinn. Is this just a coincidence?
0:06 The is a M@ .50 caliber Browning heavy machine gun, invented by John Moses Browning about a century ago. It weighs nearly 84 pounds (34 kg), 128 pounds (58kg) with the tripod but not counting ammo. Three to four people have to haul it around (the main part of the gun, the receiver, is by far the heaviest part of the weapon (which is why you need the 4th man) Roadblock is supposed to be able to carry and fire the unmounted version with one hand but that is HIGHLY doubtful This isn't the correct carry handle for the barrel though 1:27 I wonder what the bird skull necklace is for? This looks similar to a M1918 BAR Browning Automatic Rifle without the bipod on the end of the barrel 1:41 This is NOT a Browning .30 .cal machine gun, it looks more like the .50 cal 2:00 THIS is the M1919 Browning air cooled MG 10:15 Technicals, heavy weapons mounted in or on civilian vehicles, usually pickup trucks. Usually mounted with medium or heavy machine guns or recoilless rifles

Jesse, your videos make me wish Wal-Mart's retro line didn't suck.

One of the best characters ever.
I am looking at those panels and can smell the pages
Great video, man. Good fun.
Such a cool character I actually don’t like that they killed him off.
Another Alaskan Joe thank you.
Great video as always sir!
He was in GI Joe issue #2, he left Snake eyes and the team stranded in the middle of nowhere in Alaska.
He is a tuff Alaskan.

I see you’re correcting your mistake from the snake-eyes video, where you said snake-eyes didn’t appear again until issue 17.
