At the place you gonna build the next fields, first put a couple of woodcutters or logging camps to deforestation. It's a big waste of resources if you just delete the trees when you make something new.
It all comes down to how you're town is set up. Now we have a working tree plantation where workers cut town and plant trees effectively. Placing town wodcutters or logging camps where those fields will go will just waste time with walking there unless I build temporary houses up there. Which I don't feel is necessary now that we are not really struggling with wood. It's a good suggestion though. We want to minimize wasting resources
@GamingNorse Maybe now you don t need it much. It s more about planning ahead. If you have decide that you will go somewhere to build something, then put a woodcutter and forget him. One or two families will not mess a lot the micromanaging (that i like very munch). So, i think is more about how soon you have a clear plan what do you want to build and where, and prepare accordingly.
@@xaros738 I get your point IF we where not able to plant new trees. But now it really don't make any sense to me to keep moving around timber production. Prioritizing a set location to where my timber production will be is much more important in my opinion. Its not like i will run out of things to do. There is always something els to do. Managing this just feels like a waste. But we all have different playstyles ! :)
Don't forget to do the barley field near the lake near the manor, and there was another spot near the mountain edge near the lake but in the woods too. Also don't you need a tavern? Not sure I need one placed yet. Thought that could possibly give you a region point to help with sheep breading or using the sheep to fertilize the fallow fields. Just some ideas I thought might help. Love both series videos! Keep up the fight! 🛡️
Great tips! I'll try to get these in the next episode! Not a big fan of sheep breeding. It's very very slow. Fertilization is a great idea though! But might have to prioritize getting that bakery perk 🤔 I'm glad you're enjoying it!! 🛡
I just came across your channel. I really like your videos it’s interesting how perfectly you optimise everything.Could you imagine playing anno 1800 in a Future video?
I'm glad you're enjoying it! I have been strictly a manor lords channel for a long time but I just started to sneak in more games on the channel. Never played anno, but I'm open to try in the future!
Also, tree lines are great wind breaks to help keep houses warmer in the winter and shaded for coolness in the summer. So any more rural houses should have trees to protect them.
New Patch (Pre Release) has 20 cap on stalls. So if you cross Burgage in multiples of 20 its better to fill those up fully, otherwise its a waste of resources I think. Like no point in putting 42-45 plots, if u have to cross 40, then go for 60 directly and likewise, if u go above 60 somehow, then go for 80 directly.. New maths in new patch. BTW use Backery Extension.. that producess twice in the same amt of floor (Double than communal oven, but yes, its costly as we need to spend dev pints for that.. I play with mods, so no prb for me as freeskills unlocks everything. So yes, probably saving points is crucial for you, I understand n totally agree on that part.
Sorry abt that.. 3% worked for me n was showing 0. Must be ba bug, If I knew it I would have tanen a SS. I switched back to normal version now, so dont wanna download 10gb again for this 1 thing.. So sorry once again..
Love the play through of the mountain maps! keep it up 🎷🐛
I'm glad you're enjoying it! Thank you for the support 🛡

if possible, you should plant tree lines around all your fields. Got to make sure you are keeping them from eroding away!
Doew trees really help with this in game? 🤔
@GamingNorse no. There is no erosion mechanic in the game. But it makes it feel more real and is esthetically pleasing. And isn't that reason enough?
Also, tree lines are great wind breaks to help keep houses warmer in the winter and shaded for coolness in the summer. So any more rural houses should have trees to protect them.
I’m told you now have your own merc’ list to buy from and Hilldy has his own so hiring doesn’t effect each other
That would be amazing if that is correct!
😊
