Horses can't see from behind so that's why she kicked. So no. The girls doesn't deserve to be kicked.

I've handled mini horses way taller than these and once mine bucked at the one behind it, I was the only one sensible about it and lead my horse away as quick as possible while the girl behind me whining about almost being bucked, as soon as the horses finished, my one got smacked on the butt for being scared.
