ItzRevrse __ actually “shock” collars (which most owners use for the vibration function not the actual shock) can be pretty useful if used in the CORRECT way. Notice how the dog didn’t run off into the street and stayed by the owners side?? Basically that way. I don’t know the details because I don’t use it myself but it idiots have misused the collar and given the electric collar a bad rep :/ much like the idiots who think pitties and other bully breeds are vicious but nope, just with the wrong people and had the negatives spread.

Why do American ice-cream trucks sound so terrifying?
That's not a real ice cream truck. That's a truck with some ice cream pictures painted on it and a big freezer inside. The real trucks are much taller and the operator serves frozen and soft ice cream along with soda's, etc.. Also, the driver doesn't have to get out of the vehicle to serve the ice cream. Hey, that truck works for them where they live but don't confuse that with a real American ice cream truck. The music is different as well.

They're trailer trash. While that is a gorgeous dog, it's probably not the best environment for him. Most breeders won't sell to lower income people, because they don't want the dogs to end up in a shelter or back with them. I got my West German Working Line GSD from a couple that lived in a trailer that couldn't afford to feed him. Breeder didn't want to have to take him back so they tried to sell him first. I got him for $200 and saved almost $2,000 because of it. This happens so often. I don't expect trailer trash, despite any southern hospitality to have all that great of manners. The guy did seem nice overall though, just mannerless.

Lone Wolfe That’s actually not true, the closest dogs to wolves are breeds such as the Akita, Chow Chow and Shiba Inu. The German Shepherd and Doberman are not as close to the wolf as those breeds. Dobermans are still my #1 breed.

I “love” all the know-it-all’s giving their uneducated opinions as to ice cream being “bad” for him. Every day……yes. On occasion……not at all. People just have to leave negative comments to make themselves feel smart, I guess. Beautiful Dobe! I miss mine terribly. They are loyal, protective and gentle mush-pots all at the same time. Extremely intelligent and love to please their moms and dads. Giving him an occasional ice cream treat is just fine. As far as the ear cropping comments…give me a break. There are all styles of cropping. Show, pet, etc. If you’re not showing your Dobe then your personal preference will do just fine. I prefer more of the bell left and slightly longer but to each their own. Your dog is absolutely gorgeous and is obviously much loved and very happy. Congrats!

I have a four-year-old female and she behaves nearly identical. She's extremely discriminating as to which flavors of ice cream she likes. For her, vanilla ice cream with peanut butter swirl it's her favorite. Before she makes any choices she will smell them all. I've done the same test with her regarding pig ears and cow ears, and she loves pig ears. I think the mentality of a Doberman Pinscher is about a six-year-old child give or take a year or so and either direction. My doberman is extremely clever and will use multiple toys to trick me into playing with her because she constantly wants my attention 100% of the time. Extremely obedient, loyalty without question, highly intelligent, completely attuned to the owners emotions, always affectionate, and very wary and protective of her family. They truly are super dogs, best in all dog breeds as I've owned several different breeds. The Doberman is without question a level above the other dogs. But no breed is perfect and the Doberman, as all of us know who are doberman owners, have special health considerations and may not have the greatest longevity. Thanks for sharing beautiful, warm and family video which truly demonstrates the characteristics of a Doberman Pinscher! Take care.

I owned a large red doberman who was the smartest dog in the world i rescued him from an abusive owner got tired of the kids telling me how he would beat him trying to make him mean not nesessary when he waz only 3 monthz old so i went in the yard took him off his chain and when the guy came out to confront me i told him he is my dog now you dont k ow how to own a doberman and i have you on camera beating the pup 4 no reason like there ever is 1 well he didnt persue any action and i became family to the smartezt loyalist dobie on the planet never needed a leash or chain fence kennel nothing he would do what he was trained and never strayed

Have you ever tried a training collar on yourself? They give a mild static shock that’s surprising, not painful. Plus, the goal is for dogs to follow commands off-leash. You can’t do that with treats when they’re 50 feet away. And training with food creates a food monster.
I have a GSD and she doesn’t care about treats during training. She eats raw and when she wants doesn’t like to over eat. I think that’s why treats don’t work anymore. I can put out 3 lbs of food 3 times a day and she may skip an meal or only eat half and leave the rest for later.

i'm sure there's no grape skins in a fuckin popsicle, nor would there be anywhere close to the literal pound of chocolate it takes to kill an adult dog; it's far more likely that the amount of chocolate (and grape) is negligible, or even nonexistent, instead being replaced by artificial flavors.

Yep it's not electric mate, I was pissed off at a friend who bought one for her dog, then I saw it and it's only vibrating. At least I haven't come across electric ones.
Some just spray something like citrus to help calm or stop barking. I prefer the "pay attention to and train the dog method" myself, but I was happy when my neighbors got the citrus for their bark-bark-barkers.

If I had to bet I'd say it's vibrational, not shock. They don't seem the kind of people to use a shock collar. I mean, you shock your dog just to train him but pamper him with ice cream?

@@Leispada You make a good point. Quick google search shows at least 2 vibrating collars with black probes like those (one anti barking another for deaf dogs) but most of them don't have them. Though if you search for shock ones, the probes look metalized and less black polymer looking like this one. Just wishful thinking though, it might just really be a shock collar.
Damn thats disappointing. I really liked the video up until now. Not to mention the ear clipping and tail docking. I despise shock collars and prong collars and any tricks done while using them aren't impressive, they're just sad.
@@sognsogn-jo9qb not excusing the colllar bullshit, but he could have been a rescue whose previous owners clipped his ears and docked his tail. i adopted my last dog and the previous owners had done that to him.

Some dogs know when they wear them. They adapt their behaviour to wearing them or not wearing them...
