Her purr! She's really happy to see an old friend.
We went there on 7th March, as a surprise birthday gift for my wife. The weather wasn't great - so a lot of the cats were inside - but it was amazing. You don't realise how awesome they are until you're that close! My wife got to feed an Amur Leopard & a Black Jaguar (Neron). Maya is now part of our family (& we of hers) - we 'adopted' her as a living memorial to our beautiful cat Ebony, who left us last July. We'll be going back in the warmer weather to see Maya, & hopefully more of the other cats.
She is so beautiful. She is a knock out black Jaguar. Kisses to her😚😚😚
I watched that documentary. It was extraordinary seeing how they started with this tiny sickly creature that I seem to remember was rejected by her mother, and carefully bringing her to full health. By the end she was an adult who was too strong to have around your house! She could have been quite dangerous. But she is now such a beautiful animal. A wonderful job by all the staff.

I love her! I also love a black leopard at Big Cat Rescue near Tampa. She's 21 years old and they have many other wild cats. Jinx is in an extremely large Containment system.
