I watched this video a few days i finally got to go hit balls i have never hit straighter balls consistently thanks i hope i remember this when golf season comes back here in Canada
I also follow Danny and now, apart from the odd look at a couple just when have a spare moment as i was watching too many and remembering none, apart from a part of this one and a part of that. Stick to one!! I found the position of my elbows and wrists and making a proper turn, Raytheon than what seemed to be a turn in my mine was groundbreaking, i also pushed my hips forward at address for the driver, when I realised it was just the hips and not pushing everything forward, that has helped me drive like never before, and I’m 65 and hitting 250+ and sometimes a more. Head and sternum central but bottom shifting is great . Danny’s tip of moving and movement is a great swing thought,
Good content as per my way of getting the slight shoulder tilt i just bump my lead hip slightly forward which being lefthanded is my right hip if i dont i tend to hit the ball straight left.
Interesting information. I've been teeing up off the lead foot, which places my driver head nearly 1 foot back of tee. No tilt, and I have been more consistent but would say my misses are more pulls. Will do some experimenting with ball back. The tilt for me is uncomfortable and not sure that it just doesn't disappear anyway on my backswing. Thank as always!
Thanks for your explanation of this tip. I have been working on this exact issue in my driver swing and I needed your explanation to clear up ball position and shoulder tilt. Thanks for the help!!
My advice is when you drop your trail hand under your lead hand, you should already have your trail leg locked and loaded to prevent body sway to the rear. This encourages hip rotation and stability throughout the backswing, transition and the rest of your drive. It helps keep your trail elbow tucked and your lead arm straight. I certainly can hit straight balls from this position and so do many professionals. I loved the video as usual even if I courteously disagree. Your presentation is always so watchable. Cheers from Down Under; the best part of the world to live in.
I'm never ever trying to hit the ball straight. Always trying to hit a fade or a draw. Also you are rarely in same position at impact as at set up. Move it around and try many different things until you find something that WORKS FOR YOU!
Dont really agree with this concept. The swing is an arc as you rightly say and as such comes inside to straight and back inside. If you put the ball forward and swing and release as you normally did the club is starting to close and would result in a hit from the toe causing a hook. You must have released the club late to cause a slice

Ill try this at the range
Danny rules 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I have recently moved the ball to the middle of my stance, and am I having great results.
Thanks for reminder on this Andy...
No worries!
Saguto is the easiest swing to solve keeping the swing inside to out.

Glad it helped

Always enjoy feedback, doesn’t have to agree to be useful 👍

Danny Maude is No1.
Too complicated. Check out Saguto Golf.
Yep
I saw Danny's video and tried the ball one inch back, and wow my slice was gone.
