a thief won’t know if the battery is missing or not and will still take your scooter away.. no scooter should be locked or left behind.. it won’t be there when you get back.. keep your scooter with you at all times

Awesome Ben! I'm riding my Gen2 Pure Air to work and back everyday and while yes the legal implications are there, the stress level from trying to park, paying to park etc have dropped dramatically. Good stuff 👌🏻

@@gtone339 thats right.. I've got the gub phone holder on the left side of the handle bars and a short cable which I use to charge my phone on longer journeys. Its a really good bit of kit.

Where I live there are rental scooters but I can't ride them as I have an older type of licence (still legal - I've checked) which isn't recognised by the app. I raised it with the rental company who weren't interested 😤. It costs money to change my licence which I object to when it's just so I can ride a scooter.

Or would the Decent One be more worth the money being lighter and battery probably cheaper as there is a 6.4 upgradable battery for it, instead of the 5.0, overall vaule for money?

It looks ok. I’m not really sure why you went with this scooter over some of the more powerful, longer range and let’s be honest, faster scooters. The swappable battery seems like a nice feature but how much do they cost? In my experience they are $200+ that’s easily $400 to $1000 in additional expense! For a relatively slow scooter with no suspension and one break. Having watched zero to epic’s footage, roads can be pretty unforgiving, with potholes, debris and much larger faster vehicles whizzing by you. I really do wish you the best of luck and look forward watching your vids. Just please be safe! I bought one of your tshirts a while back btw and it’s my favorite shirt! 😁
Buying a faster scooter is out of scope in the UK (and most places in Europe) as a max speed limit of 25km/h (15.5mph) is imposed on them unless used on private land only. Some countries also have a weight limit (ours is 15kg) so buying a 'bigger scooter' with a 'bigger battery' is not always an option either, so an extra battery makes a lot of sense for the EU market. Basically if you wanna travel with this your choices also depends on the country's road laws.

Well good luck on your trip, but watch out for the cops who may end up giving you 6 points and a hefty fine.
Perhaps get one of those boards that makes things vanish to the eyes so when the cops see you it looks like you are floating in mid air at 15 mph, unless going up hill in which case around 8 mph or whatever it was.
What does 6 points do?
@@steve00alt70 6 points makes your insurance rocket to a much higher level than if you had no points.
So if you would pay 150 pounds for your insurance you may end up paying 1500 pounds for your insurance perhaps more, and if you are young your insurance already may cost you over 2 grand with a clean licence so with six points could go up to more than double.
That's why they charge you with driving with no insurance, because they know it will affect you in a big way, it could also mean with 6 points you lose your job if it is a driving job.
Also by using insurance as the charge, it escalates the severity of the charge get caught once you get points and fine, twice could see you go to prison.
All for riding a scooter that barely reaches 15 mph so it makes more sense that if you are to break the law you either ride on the pavement which only incures a fine and no points or use a very powerful scooter so you become an outlaw.
This is what the ridiculous situation has created, people who would normally be law abiding citizens are turned into criminals just to satisfy an out dated law from 1835.

Turboant X7 pro, Decent one max, and Benlg BEE-10 are the same model. X7 and One Max have pneumatic tires and BEE-10 has solid honeycomb tires.

I didn't know you could travel across the UK, from end to end, using private land, scene as E-scooters are currently illegal to use on anything but private land. A thief could always nick it and buy a new electric battery for it, for about £230. You'll have to buy a new battery anyway at some point, since the battery starts draining after so many recharges. All that said, for range and power, I actually like that E-Scooter. It's affordable and, again, you can change the battery out, which you can't do with a lot of scooters. Multiple batteries is an absolute must. You don't want to get 20 miles out, get zero percent on your range meter and have no way back home other than to walk. That's no Bueno to me. Of all the cheap, affordable E-scooters that I have looked at, affordable being sub thousand pounds, that is the best, at least on paper.

The first thing I look for is a LEGAL scooter .As such a thing dosnt exist in the UK I would not be promoteing there use.Unless you rent one .
