V.O.B just recently in June 2024, storm performance at Downstairs at The Dome London and 28th June 2024 they "burn" the morning at Woodsies Stage Glastonbury Festival 2024, at Somerset United Kingdom's. VoB will continue to play in SXSW Sydney Australia somewhere in October 2024. VoB just released their first full Album name RETAS and doing RETAS AMERICAN TOUR 2023 in conjunction with promote their first full album RETAS. In year 2022, August 5th. VoB once again break the stereotypes in Metal world by play in Wacken Open Air Germany 2022. There's more than just music 🎶😊. Keep going reaction to VOB ❤.
I have heard a lot of people say that modern bands are just derivative of older bands. But that's not a new argument. in 1970 Lester Bangs said of Black Sabbath "stiff recitations of Cream clichés … grinding on and on"" So those currently making the argument that modern music is derivative are just taking an older argument, using it's basic concepts but restructuring it a little, and then passing it off an something original. Due to that I don't think their arguments have real intellectual value. If they can't come up with an original argument I am not really interested. They just sound to much like the arguments that came before them. Good song and great group. Nice reaction.
Normally I'd be jumping in to say laudatory things about Voᗺ, but BW and Rahim (and Tom Morello and Flea) have already done a good job of that, so. . .on to Deep Purple and who they stole from. DP's Child in Time is pretty much a dead ripoff of It's a Beautiful Day's Bombay Calling. They don't even pretend it's not. This ain't the influence of blues and the pentatonic minor, blah, blah, blah. This is: they took the melody and re-used it. (Of course, it's an old story - Bach and Mozart ripped off melodies, too and I'm sure it happened long before those dudes) And while we're on the pentatonic minor - an excellently structured piece built on the pentatonic minor that nevertheless takes it in a new (but accessible) direction: Ningen Isu's Heartless Scat.
Definitely think there's something wonky going on with the render of the video, Mel. As for the song, I'm so glad you did VoB! They deserve a platform and they're a young band, so in my opinion the only direction they can go is up! I think this is a very solid start for them and I look forward to following them for years to come (presuming they it up!) 😊
Honestly, I was so touched by the lyrics and message in this one, they could have played total shit and I still would have loved it. Still they play well and I’m looking forward to getting in amongst it with them! 🥰

The lifespan of most bands nowadays are not as long as they used to be but that's understandable in today's society. Regarding stealing in itself I can only think of one "bigger" band that stole on a regular basis and that's Metallica, moving away from them I would call it influenced by and that's not stealing in any way shape or form.

And if bands voiced their concerns about it Metallica sent a bunch of layers. There are a bunch of examples but I'll just take one song as an example. since you are not a metal fan.... if you can guess the song in 15 sec it's plagiarism. Stone - Get Stoned (1988 - 3 years prior) and Excel - Tapping into the void (1989 - 2 years prior) makes up a Metallica song even you should recognize instantly.... I can give you a bunch more examples, Metalica are cunts and a black stain music as a whole.

Never mind glastonbury. Their wacken show , as a metal band , was bigger for them. Wacken they were there for their music, they kicked ass .
