Mr. Tyler, thank you so much for creating the most informative, funny, and truly heartfelt videos. Without your videos I would have never been able to learn and grow as an angler. Thank you 🙏.
Great video brother! I just read about what NFNT means and the story behind your brand! As a felllow Christian Brother, I fully support you 100%! Great stuff...keep the great tips coming!
I look forward to your all caps SWIMBAIT journey. It can be truly exhilarating when it all comes together. I hope you have some good luck! I understand your viewpoint on it not being ideal for your channel, but it sure would be amazing to see.
Neko rigged worm falls nothing like a wacky rig. To get a quicker falling wacky action you need a slightly weighted wacky hook. The neko falls in a straight down nose first actuon and is a bottom contact technique for the most part. Point is neko is a vertical presentation and a wacky rig is a horizontal presentation.
Then tell that to Alton Jr. who I saw consistently catch fish on tour using it as a water column bait. Yes, it falls different, But I wouldn’t say it is mostly bottom contact
@TylersReelFishing it Is mostly a bottom contact technique and rig no matter how one person may fish it smh 😂. You kept saying falls like a wacky rig as well and it don't periodthe end lol. One person btw doesn't make up "most" or " mostly" that's one person's way not the over all way something is done lol. Drop shot is mostly a bottom weight contact rig but some fish it in 50ft of water on suspended bass too. Most use it as a way to say above vegetation and slim filled bottoms by a foot or less. Those techniques are not just some US pros they are world wide used now 😂. Japanese came up with them and they way they mostly fish them is the way most fish them js lol.
Lipless here in Wisconsin is my goto bait. My favorite bait in ponds during the pre-spawn to the post-spawn is the 3/8oz Hammer-Trap or 1/2 oz Rattle-Trap. My favorite bait for lakes in same time period including fall and late-fall is 1oz Rattle-Trap and 5/8oz Hammer-Trap.
Excellent video. I learned a lot, I’m def also going to try to throw more crank baits this year as I didn’t catch any fish on it this year🤦♂️. I am also going to try to throw a lot of spinnerbaits, what is your favorite color spinnerbait to throw?
My goals for 2025 are: -Learn to consistently catch fish on finesse lures (wacky rig, weedless drop shot, and topwater popper) -Get better at switching in between rods on my tiny boat -Fish moving baits more with my new rod combo. -Try larger baits like big worms, jigs, paddle tails, walking baits, big Jerkbaits.
First off your videos have been super helpful. I have a couple questions regarding GoPro settings, rods, and reels. 1- Did you adjust the color settings or anything else besides superview, 1080p, and 60fps? 2- Is there a bait caster rod or reel that can be used for finesse fishing like drop shots, senkos, and ned rigs? 3- I’ve messed up by when is started fishing (I was like 9) I bought 2 spinning rods, a 5,6 medium and a 6,0 medium. I would like to get a new rod, preferably 6,9 medium. Any recommendations for rods? 4- I have a cheap shimano on my 5,6 and a 13 fishing reel that I’m ok with on my 6,0. What reel should I get for the new rod or do I move the 13 fishing reel to the new rod and get another cheap Sorry for all the questions and thanks for all the help through your videos and previous comments!
Tyler, today I went fishing caught a bass and a couple catfish, then I had to go to the ER bc I got a hook stuck in my finger! Anyway 2025 has started off great!
My goals for 2025 are: throwing the umbrella rig, upgrading to larger baits, cycle out my lower quality hard baits for better ones, and, lastly, throwing my big glide baits more often.
I wanted 2024 to be about catching numbers but I couldn't get away from TRF challenge and big bass hunting but my goal for 2025 is again big bass hunting but in new waters lol and new techs in my home lake that's my 2025 plan
I’ve never thrown a neko rig. I already hate how often I lose wacky rig worms, I can’t imagine losing nail weights every single time a worm rips off as-well.
I need a video on shaking a minnow on FFS what head do I need for a 3 inch minnow and a head for a 4 to 5 inch baits 2 weight sizes for both plus rod reel please help us just getting into FFS it’s overwhelming
Got a bunch of swimbaits for nect year then for 2025, not buying any new lures. Using what i have. Bass forecast is $30 not $20 anymore. And in AZ we know its tough, never see it over 5, and can definitely catch well
please respond to this comment tylerrrrrr!!! i love your videossssssssssss im from the college station area around A&M college and loved the video where you fished aggie park!
Are you being for real Tyler? out of a lot of youtubers you're one i actually trust but, are you just pushing product or taking these lurers seriously?
I mentioned several lures that I’m not even sponsored by😂 I am taking this challenge seriously, but still have a job to do, which is film 3 videos a week
Download BassForecast if you’re chill like that: bassforecast.onelink.me/5aRm/tyler

Great baits Tyler for the New Year excited for it. Thanks bud and have a healthy, happy and tight lines New Year 🎊
Thanks Tyler for the very informative video. I like watching your videos.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.🎉

Thanks for this video, Happy New Year
We here in California do a lot of swim bait fishing. This time of year, December it's a big hit. My personal favorite is the Huddleston 68.
I'll go up to around $20.00 for a really good swimbait that's it, any more than that is just a sausage measuring contest between anglers.
been having my itching for a video for the past few days man. Finally!!
Christmas was a busy time with a little boy!
Great vid as usual! You should do more challenge videos like how you used to make some. 🐟

Absolutely love the hybrid hunter, I caught my PB’s on the hunter!

My buddy has caught one fish on his 7 inch swim bait and it was a 1 pound small mouth
My goals for 2025 are: catching a bass on a chatterbait (only caught a pike, so far), getting good with jigs, and focusing on topwater.
Awesome video!
You should do a series where you fish with NO ELECTRONICS
Can't wait to use that new app to.
I do, every Saturday. It’s called 200 ponds
The word nail is in the description.. I use finish nails cut them to length to change weight and get a couple hundred out of a box for 3$
Great video

same , especially big glides
Same on the big baits 😂 I've got some really nice swim baits, but the cannonball they make on the cast just seems like it'll scare the fish.
The Rapala Ott Slim isn't really a fast floater. Check it out in the water.
You have to be versatile to be a great fisherman. They call me the fisherman around here.Maybe sometime will show you some secrets
what rod size/action and line do you plan on using for the swimbaits?
You should post some tournament videos
I don’t fish tournaments anymore, besides my own online one
I wanted 2024 to be about catching numbers but I couldn't get away from TRF challenge and big bass hunting but my goal for 2025 is again big bass hunting but in new waters lol and new techs in my home lake that's my 2025 plan
In my country I have peacock bass. Is it the same fishing it with the bass u have in your country?
I've caught a bunch of fish on the hybrid hunter but almost every single one i've bought has had the bill broken off when I rip it in the grass.
That was an issue with one batch, you must have all had the same batch. SK was aware and changed that
I am indeed chill like that
Yuh
I’ve never thrown a neko rig. I already hate how often I lose wacky rig worms, I can’t imagine losing nail weights every single time a worm rips off as-well.
That’s ok, I’ll imagine for the both of us 😂

Done that. Search “TylersReelFishing minnow”
Got skunked today. Nothing new for me 😂
If U don't fish a lipless crankbait in Minnesota your missing fish. All year yes all year.
What's your favorite lipless?
