Not possible for a few reasons. First off Corvus killed all the raptors and second it's confirmed/stated that their stock come from recruits before the drop site massacre pre-dating the raptors and this also explains why their gene-seed is more stable than Raven Guard gene-seed.
To be fair Corax didn't kill _all_ of the Raptors, only those that were mutated by the Alpha Legion's sabotage. Branne Nev for instance was _technically_ a Raptor, since he was placed in command of them.

I love the videos that you make about lore like this. I got into this channel before the blessings of nergle and dived deep after it kicked off. Brothers and I play once a week now.
I also believe the Raptors use overwatch scout/sniper teams during their campaigns. Allowing them unrivaled intel of the battlefield and overall state of a conflict.

I my headcanon, EVERY chapter, including the chaos chapters, has been replaced by Alpha Legionnaires who're all so deep undercover none of them know they're all actually fighting their own brothers. I just think that's how 40k will end. Not with a bang, or a whimper, but with everyone being incredibly confused and slightly embarrassed. 🤣

On the other hand I see arguments for an imposing bold and bright colour scheme and arguments for a camouflaged stealthing action. I can see it being very practical in a lot of scenarios and impractical in others; such as your local guard shooting where you are and not realising your there.

Corvus would be proud of their adherence to tactics and logic.

Yeah they do these insane things like wear a helmet during a war and using camouflage instead of bright blue and gold.
Which is even more grimdark as the notable insurrection they put down was a largely democratic one against a tyrannical leadership.
