Great detail. I’m impressed with this suv. That being said…if, after paying 40, 50, 60,000 dollars for a new vehicle and then I have to pay a subscription on top! Not in this lifetime. I’m a Ford driver, through and through, but I’ll just keep driving my old vehicle into the ground before I pay a subscription on top of the purchase price.
Most car makers are using subscriptions to make more money on features, so that's nothing new. I priced a 4WD Explorer Active on the Ford website, and no subscriptions purchased.
I feel like ford is one of the few manufacturers that doesn’t charge subscription fees for the stuff you already paid extra for. Looking at you Toyota and your remote start subscription.
I own a 2021 f150 platinum, I fill that the technology subscription is BS that they want you to pay more for equipment that you paid for when you purchased the vehicle.
There's a lot to like about this version. I have a 2020 and would be open to an upgrade. Why is the black roof almost $5K? Couldn't I get a quality wrap done for a lot less?
Subscription based technical creature comforts are understandable; however, safety related features should be a standard offering. Simply charge a little more on all models and provide all safety features, then market the hell out of the safety results.
Much better front interior, dash, and center stack layout. Excited for the new infotainment system and the cloth/suede additions to the leather seats; I have them in my '17 F150 and they're the best. I notice they reverted back to the old interior door handles (not a problem by me). Love the new cubbies around the center console. Still disappointed that Ford doesn't have all 4 windows auto up/down/remote like all of the Fusions from 2013-20 did.
No way I'm paying invoice pricing. I've owned 8 Explorers going back to 2004. I've always bought the base models. I've always said the base model at a couple grand under sticker is a good SUV. Anything over that and it loses its value very quickly. $60,000 Explorers are rather absurd. So that being said, you need to get me to $40,000 or under for the Active model.
Seems like nice upgrades, more so the interior quality vs the tech stuff. Glad to see Ford trying to reduce the number of parts in the revised rig, because they need to get their quality back in check before I'd consider buying one.
Starting at $42k? Plus a monthly subscription to use a lot of the infotainment features? Ehh, I'd like to see more innovation for all that instead of just copying Tesla. If I don't opt in for the subscription, would I be able to connect the car to the hotspot on my phone and use those features? (Doubt it) Wouldn't be using any data from the cars 5G modem. In an age where cars have gotten so expensive, interest rates are still crazy high... Ford's response... Let's add a subscription service as well lol. Based
Back looks like a honda or what the gmc yukon would to to the back as refresh. Front end looks way worst than before. Lost all its ruggedness and sharpness. Grill and headlights too bubly. So far gmc acadia 2025 is my pick
What everyone is missing when they go and get their new EXPLORER they’re be wondering, “What no XLT and LIMITED trims on our 2025 Ford EXPLORER?” & “What happened to the XLT & LIMITED trims?” and the Ford dealer will say to the Ford customers, “you only get 4 trims for your 2025 EXPLORER.” Is the LIMITED trim be a Platinum trim and the ACTIV be like the XLT trim for the New EXPLORER?
I do NOT like the wheel option for the ST Line. I wished they would give you a blacked out version much like the 24 model. I think the wheels look like wheels from the early 2000s that people buy to make their cars look “cool” but they look cheap and trashy. That’s just my opinion.
No subscriptions, you are already paying ridiculously high prices for vehicles with these features, paying subscriptions for features that are already on your vehicle means you never own your vehicle, even after it is paid for your still making payments to the manufacturer, it is crap!
Still lacking tech. Screen is really small, and Likely cameras will not record. So far behind Tesla and others. NO BUTTONS, and force Sunroof in ST. Adding in the extra cost, going to be tough for us current ST owners to consider this an upgrade worth jumping into. Didn't really want to add - the lackluster color choices in 2025 too.
5 grand price increase, buttons downgraded to the screen, no word on fixes for the poor reliability or competition with the grand highlander or telluride twins. Mid isn't enough
Subscription services are a slippery slope that can lead to customer frustration. German brands tried it and pissed their customers off. Be better Ford.
In under 11 minutes, you showed more info than most of the other long release videos did.

The ST is actually the highest level trim package I was building them today and the platinum price wise is just under the ST.
As a Ford shareholder, I like. But as a car owner. don't like subscription too much
Great video! You're good at presenting stuff. I like your haircut too
They got rid of timeberline trim and green because why ? Any insight ,
Is the 2025 Explorer going to have the 360 cameras
An important question‽
Cooled seats?
We need to know... 😏
Will the ST offer a 7 passenger option?
I own a 2021 f150 platinum, I fill that the technology subscription is BS that they want you to pay more for equipment that you paid for when you purchased the vehicle.
The subscription features are B/S charging for features that you paid for when you bought the vehicle.

I would rather have the interior they keep. showing for the ST in the promo video, looks way better then the red stiching all over
How much is the subscription for Bluecruise?
Mitch onyx is pronounced on ix. Like the black gemstone. I’m from Pell City and know that! Just bama checking you 😊
what i noticed on the ford website. There was only like a 1k difference in the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder in the platinum trim.

How do you have such details about Ford products?
BTW please tell us if the Expedition is getting a makeover, and whether it is interior or exterior.
He works for (or with) Town and Country Ford dealer. Hence the name, TC Customs. This is simply a marketing video.
There is a totally new Expedition model coming out at end of year

I would rather have a 2010 Eddie Bauer with the body on frame and the V8...
I want A plan pricing!

If the subscription was a reasonable price... okay, we do need updates; however, $700.00 to $800.00 is beyond ridiculous! 🤨
U cant call it all new when its the same body style. Its a refresh at most.
The one that it needed the most was the integrated screen like China has and it didn't get it.

Why the captions? And why in a Star Trek font?
Don't like the trim level change, the price hike, or the subscription
Or the BLAH color choices, lack of physical buttons too.
They dialed in the 10 speed? Great! Fix the 10 speed in my 19 F150.
Ooof starting at 42k.......... im sure the st will be 10k more than previous years
They announced the 2025 explorer, but you still cannot find a 2024 ranger.
Blue cruise is $80/ month or $800/yr. I live in the midwest and there are few roads that have been "mapped" not worth the money.
I think I’ll keep my 2008 Explorer with the V8 instead
No on subscription features

Onyx = On ix.
So who won the ford f-250 still no answer ?
No hud, no digital rearview mirror
You're pronouncing onyx wrong.
It's a great looking rig. The interior is still not even close to being on par with the Grand Cherokee L.
I really liked the new GMC Acadia until i saw this
Can i get the most powerful engine and 4-wheel drive, WITHOUT Alexa, Google or any of the other privacy violating tech?
😂😂 I guess you don't have a smartphone if you're so worried about privacy

Recalls in 3…2…1

Subscription? Ah. No.
i bet the ecu is encrypted on this new one..
All this technology and people wonder why their insurance premiums are through the roof.
Another subscription?!?!? Nope I'll be going else where for my next vehicle.
V8, no? next.
Ok Boomer.
With the 3.0, nobody needs a V8.
@@Gibbo-kq2ep wrong 🤣🤣
@@66skate I do
@@BigInjun05 You're living in the past. The 3.0 is far better.
Clickbait title
The 2025 Explorer is a refresh, not an "all-new" vehicle
I don't like subscriptions to use features on my vehicle.
Digital instruments no thank you. If the cluster dies then there is no speedometer
It’s not all new, just a refresh
No more king ranch
Still a vehicle with problems rolling off the assembly line 😂
Ehh not impressed at all..
The front of the new 2025 looks too much like a Toyota Highlander. 😢
But it's not electric.
5 grand price increase, buttons downgraded to the screen, no word on fixes for the poor reliability or competition with the grand highlander or telluride twins. Mid isn't enough
How about transmission? Did they do anything with that piece of garbage?
SUBSCRIPTIONS SUCK. Which model will replace my fully loaded 2020 XLT (I mean everything except the engine block heater)?
Ford is good to sell 5 star of 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋good enough to make a lemonade they don’t build quality,
they built lemons 🍋 🍋🍋🍋🍋
Don’t like what they’ve done to the grill.
Subscription services are a slippery slope that can lead to customer frustration. German brands tried it and pissed their customers off. Be better Ford.
Still the same body style and size.
Not all new.. just a rehashed 2024
No king ranch? Boring
What a great one! Thanks! 👍
