Thanks, Ken. Since I'm not ready for a laser just yet - I am looking forward to the advances yet to come and, hopefully, lower prices across the board for diode lasers
I have a weird question, I disassembled my Longer Ray5 20W laser module to clean it due to receiving Fire alarm codes, When I reassembled it, I have the fan on top (Not air assist but the internal one) Blowing the air Up and away from the laser (Working piece) Is this correct? I haven't tried to use it yet since im afraid I was wrong because I was not paying that close of attention. Thanks
So a guy could say cut out the Air Force emblem fill with resin and incorporate it into a bowl???🤔🤔🤔 Just trying to plant a little seed for a future project😉
I had the same issue on another LASER. It turned out it was settings in Lightburn. I found the fix on the Lightburn website. Took a little research, but it's been a while so I really cannot remember what the fix was.

As they get more powerful I think the prices will come down for the 20W ones. Well I hope. Most of us only need a 20W.

The fan should be sucking air onto the laser to cool it down.

Hahahaaha, he sure could.
Great video! Thanks!!
Thanks.
Longer just sent me the upgrade kit to but I’m having trouble getting it to recognize the limit switches in Lightburn. Was there something you did?

I would like to ask if the lens changes to the longer b1 22watt
Sorry, I'm not sure what you are asking? Are you asking if this lens is interchangeable with the b1 lens? I am not sure.
That thing is cool.
Thanks.
Thanks ❤
You're welcome 😊
How many passes cut through the poplar at 80mm/m?
It was one pass.
@@MoonpieCreations do you mind sharing your settings for that so I can try to attempt it? It took me 7 passes at 100 % with 2mm/s on my 20 w Ray.
@@MnemoHistoryI used 80mm/m at 100% power. Mm/s is used for fiber and co2 lasers mostly. Blue lasers use mm/m
@@MnemoHistory It sounds like your S-value isn't set correctly. changed it to "1000" in the laser settings
I just order this machine today the pro max kit it comes with everything for less than 700
Good price!
LASER & RADAR should always be capitalized similarly to NASA as they are all acronyms.
Thanks I thought the reviews was good too.
Only if I lived in America. Way too much for your northern neighbors.
Is it the shipping?
