Nice walk through man. RC definitely gets a bad rep, but that's mostly from people who purchase stuff based on a name. When modifying your vehicle you have to consider what it's going to be used for. Most aren't putting a lift in for purpose built rigs. They are dailies that maybe wanna do some weekend wheeling here and there. They don't "need" a $3000 BDS long arm kit or whatever. It's overkill. And they were probably upsold those type of lifts from a counter guy who makes commissions. I've wheeled RC lifts and they work just fine for sure. And you could clear 37's no problem if you do the redneck fender cut on those stock fenders. Gives you an extra 4" of wheel well clearance. And I would definitely go get it aligned properly bud. RC usually includes the alignment specs in the instructions so that you can pass those specs along to your garage. Cheers man.
I’m looking at the same lift for mine.... you’ve had yours for over a year. Would you still recommend it? Do you have any issues with death wobble or wandering on the road?
Sorry for the late reply. Pretty good lift no wobble. Contrary to belief death wobble is caused by worn components mostly, it does wander a bit and it sways pretty good the thing I don’t like is the shocks are way too soft for highway driving going to get bilsteins
Great review and walkaround. Just ordered it based on your review. Keep it up.
Really good idea about installing a dust boot on your shocks
Did you recalibrate the speedometer?

Just ordered rough country 3” suspension lift for my toyota 4runner with upper controls arms thanks man
How's the lift? I just ordered one for a 2021 TRD OR 4x4, hope I didn't make a mistake lol.
Hey Matthew, thanks for the good review. How is it holding up now? Have you driven many longer rough/washboard roads at speed? Thanks!

You were driving on River Rd 😃
Sheeeeeshhh
Lol yup I frequent river rd
Did you change control arms ?
Yea for the money I think it's a good deal.
I would have to agree. Put about 10k miles on mine and do some good wheeling with it. Including driving a thousand miles to moab utah and back.
Nice
Do you have any rear drive shaft problems or vibration?
Shaft is fine
