Wheels look professional brotha. I’m working on setting up me a booth like yours. Doesn’t take much. 1 bay, ventilation, air compressor, guns, tanks, valves, and hose etc
so many of these damn videos, show guys spraying, they don't tell you anything about how to do it, like pressures, time to freakin' dry in between coats, how many coats, what material to use, etc. it makes the video you're doing invaluable, and you can watch the magic happen. yeah that's why I subbed. people like this, they take the time to explain everything as they do it, without all the useless nonsensical bs, they are worth their weight in gold. 😎💯💯💯
Damn dude! Those turned out so nice! They aren't my style of wheel but you got some serious skills man! I'd like to see your work spraying in a downdraft Ultra XR style booth. You say that spraying those wheels is easy and there is nothing to it. Forr most people that have never sprayed anything before, something like this is not going to turn out as good as you made it. You got some serious skills! Now if only those wheels were brand new and didn't have any aluminum corrosion around the lug holes, they would look like they were store bought. Painting wheels is not as easy as you make it look. Most people screw up their wheels at home and bring them to guys like us to fix them. Keep up the amazing work man! You made a subscriber out of me just with this video!
But think about those him are a part of his car culture no different the customer coming to you with deep dish 30s for lifted truck you can now say yo I can give you complete gold package for his truck
I like it but I don’t know what you are spraying to make them look like gold! The only thing that I know is what you prepped them with. I would like to know a more detailed information about the mixing of the products used. Thanks 🙏
@@TrueGrittCustoms Right. I just like to know what products that you use so I can do the same thing with my projects. Plus where to find out where I get them? Thanks 🙏 for replying back on this subject and have a blessed day!

Just watched a few videos for the first time. Your work is legit! If I still lived down south I'd bring my vehicles to you. The colors are amazing. Keep up the good work brother!
Hats off to you my boy . I am a certified auto painter.love doing Kustom paint jobs and I too have not yet seen gold sprayed like this as good as this looks my boy . GREAT jOB💪🏽👍🏼
This is not my style for wheels and color. However, a man who knows how to do what you do has my admiration. Plus you teach others to do the same and inspire confidence. Keep going. Teach young people how to create.
Just found you from watching some sprayway videos, great work!only thing I'd suggest is try to kill some of the back ground noise because it can be hard to hear at times(not hatin).keep it up and you gained a new subscriber
What's the product your using to paint rims and what kinda clear coat.Great job by the way. I'm going to start painting this summer and I want to try this for sure.
Good work! Bro I just started going to school for auto-body collision and you are my inspiration to get into this type of work I hope you put out another video soon for us young bucks trying to get into this & give us some tips on improving better at this craft

Hey brother, I have a paint shop out here in California and a lot of people ask about painting gold rims. And I was axing is it any clear or some type of regular paint let me know or is it a way to mix it?
I have a website where I sell the gold ready to spray truecoastalpaints.com/shop Shipping is a little expensive to go to California though so we usually don’t ship. But if u pay the $100 shipping we will be glad to ship it to you. With the gallon you will be able to gold a few sets of rims. If you’re interested hit us up on the site
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🔥... I've been wanting to do some wheels Gold for some time now.. Definitely gonna try that on a set for my 77 Chrysler New Yorker soon.. Keep doing what you do bringing 🔥 and knowledge
You did a great job like always I'm proud of you glad to see you back at it my phone being down so I'm catching up on the videos I missed out over the past 3 weeks keep up the good work brother
Not everyone who is great at something can teach it. It takes real skill to instill confidence in others and this guy makes me feel like I could do this with ease ( even though I know I can’t 😂)
Nasty bro. I'm trying to get to your level. Got a 77 Monte I've been procrastinating the paint and going at a snails pace to motivate myself. Your videos are making get the itch to buy a spray gun
Lookin’ good . So you show the adhesion promoter, you showed the pre clean. What was the actual gold color material that were shooting to obtain the color ? Does the adhesion promoter you use dull the shine off the chrome as well ? It seemed like the AP dried to a dull finish . Have you tried a epoxy clear for adhesion to allow the chrome to come through brighter ?
Good lecture for another up coming painter with at least 5-6 yrs exp they’ll grasp that. Anyone still in the painting 101 phase will be having nightmares after attempting that candy job. In my experiences your first 4 years in any position in this trade really equates to boot camp. Year 5 equals 1 year, one year that you can actually take credit for something you did on your own.
Its actually nice to see a black guy painting because here in Philadelphia most autobody shops are caucasion or latino descent. .Seems city folk dont like hard work they rather be in the streets. Appreciate your video im gonna do my Dayton's both pairs dueces and dubs.
u got that southern country boi accent. nice vid. i like how you use the adhesion promoter first. i usually sand the chrome with a 2500 or 3000 just to make sure it holds but you do see fine scratches when you look closely.
Yoooo!! 4 coats of bulldog without even scuffing the surface 👀?!! Spraying chrome wheels is always the worst. You made this shit look like child’s play! 🔥🔥🔥 Is it gonna last tho? I’ve never sprayed direct to metal like that without a self etching primer.
Great video. Just subscribed. What clear coat do you recommend for silver metallic and chrome paints? All the clear coats that I have tried turns my silvers and chromes Gray.
Looks great guy... Will you please list the items that you are using? I heard what you said about cleaning them, but I don't know what you are spraying to make them gold, or what you are spraying first. The fan is kinda loud, and I really couldn't hear you that well. Thanks bruh, take care!: )❤️💯👍🏾👍🏾
Love the video but you need subtitles I can't hear everything your saying clearly. Again awesome video! Also how do you paint black rims gold? Thank you
hey brother love your work and how you explain everything. I have a question, I'm gonna be painting a motorcycle and the customer wants gold rims. I really like the gold you applied to these set of wheels. My question is, where can I purchase that same gold? Can you give me the place to order it and the name of the gold you used knowing there are several kinds out there. I did some out of a bullet casing but these look better. Thanks bro...
You can buy this gold ready to spray on this site:
