Yup, it’s the whiskers, that’s why they are having such a problem eating next to each other to begin with. This doesn’t look like resource guarding. A different shaped bowl would probably fix this and they’d be able to eat together if their whiskers couldn’t poke each other.

@@Commenter839 that was my point yeah. I don't know the English name for them, but translated directly from Denmark we have something we call Field Mice, and they are absolutely adorable. They look a little like a shrew at the face? As in an elongated snout, super adorable. Also once found 4 wild mice in my drawer, must've climbed in from the back and then dropped down, not able to get out again. Transported them out after giving them some food, again, super adorable in my opinion. I am however the type of person that would consider petting a wild bear, knowing well it could and most likely would attack me lmao. (Half joking of course)

My favorite part is how happy they are - you can see their eye quickly bulge in and out. Its called boggling and they do it when theyre happy! By far one of the best pets, definitely the best small pet!

A Young it’s quite a bit more complicated than that for humans. These guys have more than they need of a non-perishable food sitting in a big tray directly in front of them. The sheer distance between the hungry and where the food is grown is a massive problem in and of itself when it comes to people. And that’s *_before_* you consider things like infrastructure, war, famine, international conflict, legal obligations, bureaucratic regulation, potential contamination, and numerous other factors, not the least of which is the constant push to innovate these problems out of existence. The moment we had a surplus, we started devising ways to send it further and further away so others can have access to it. We aren’t hoarding it, we just aren’t at the point where supply chains and infrastructure are robust and cheap enough to get it to everyone who needs it. We aren’t uniquely selfish, just not as advanced as we’d like to be.

Asmr isn’t that bad. It’s actually extremely helpful for people who struggle with anxiety, depression, or insomnia because it helps relax the person. It’s just the people who make it sexual or stupid (like that kid trying to be a sexy police officer) that makes it irritating.
You don’t have to like it, but at least know ASMR helps people.
