On my recent Japan vacation in December 2019, me and two friends went to the movies and watched the new Lupin III. I had already seen the Trailers before and was pretty excited for it. And i was not disappointed. It’s a great movie that you should watch, preferably before watching this AMV. However, even if you watch this AMV first there’s a great many things i just couldn’t cover and had to leave out. Go watch this movie and treat yourself.
Even before watching 'The First' i was open to the idea of editing an AMV to it based on the Trailers alone. But editing CGI is a rather different beast from editing Anime. Fortunately, the animations are very well thought out and rather Anime like so working with it felt natural rather quickly. There are some limiting factory since i couldn’t change the playback speed at will as it would look silly. Still, I think this AMV turned out quite nicely and i hope you’re having a good time watching it.
I first heard this version of Blue Monday in the WW84 trailer which was released around the same day i watched the movie. It’s a fantastic trailer and I immediately had the idea of editing this Anime to it. I think the song transports the epic and light hearted themes of this movie well. Special thanks to Zest and Shirahiko.

There's not a lot of anime characters that have as much swag as Lupin, and you always enhance the swag if Lupin with your videos.

Saw the English dub of the movie yesterday and I’ll admit it was my first time seeing anything related to Lupin III. I was really impressed with what I saw and I’m now intrigued by this show. I’ve found the 5 parts of Lupin III on a couple of streaming services because I want to see what I’ve been missing.
part 4 is a good place to start and then 5 and 6, then go back to 1 2 and 3
It's rare for a 3d anime movie to look this good it's better quality wise than most Pixar movies
The way you edit the movie plot coherent with the atmosphere of the music is out of this world!

This AMV is of professional quality, impressive! The only downside is the choice of the music, which stands out from the mood of the movie itself. That's my guess on why this video is not more popular, because your transitions and your selection of sequences is flawless!

This is better than the actual movie: it hides the bland plot and the childish traits (the "minus" of the movie) while exalting the very good animation.
If you are curious about the movie just watch this, the ending is classic lupin.
