I have Gunbuster in my classics collection on DVD. I never would have thought it held up so good in a current AMV. Really great work bringing Gunbuster "to the future".
Fantastic AMV, never thought Gunbuster would work so well with a song like this. On top of that this AMV and song feels very inspiring and motivational. I love it.
GUNBUSTER: /THE/ MUSIC VIDEO!!! Love the way you captured the badass essence of this epic through your choices of scenes and edits; POWERFUL, I can’t wait to revisit one of anime history’s finest hours. 🍻
I'm planning on joining the US Space Force after high school and this AMV just gets me pumped up for training so I can get there. I will reach... THE TOP!
Man, your work is astonishing. Every video you post i watch it 9 - 10 times and every time surprises me with the connection video, meaning, tempo that you put in there. All my respect. Sergio, 29, Rome
Oh it's fine as it is :) I tried to make it look less dated but that's probably not possible without altering it heavily. Patlabor is 90s so maybe that one will be more to your liking ^^
Tight as usual. You do some great work with older anime. You should definitely try something with Giant Robo too - I've seen a couple good vids using Queen as the soundtrack, but you might be able to mix something a little faster.
Another excellent AMV, gotten sucked into watching a few new shows because of your videos, Gunbuster was on my long-ago "to watch" list, grew up watching Saturday Anime on scifi (dating myself), and anything Anno is up my alley. Anime from the the late 80's and early 90's has a lot of trash, redundancy was the trend then, but a few gems do stand out. A perfect example of what stuff was than to what it is now, speaking of Anno, is the Eva remake movies. Fun to watch, once. Great work by the way, liked your stuff back on amv.org, you're one hell of an editor.
Hi there. Thanks for the praise. Anno is a great creative mind and i love almost anything he did. I'm currently planning to do another AMV to one of his shows and will hopefully have it ready by early 2019. Thank you for sticking around for all these years.
@@CENITamv Just curious, on your very very cryptic response to a future Anno AMV, would that have been the Nadia project? I just caught that one, and I am amazed what you did with a little diddy of an underrated show. Nadia is fantastic, I honestly never finished the series back in the day, the DVD's from ADV were tough to get, got the first 4, couldn't find the rest. Holy hell, buying anime DVD's before the internet, tough work then, easy for the kids these days, now stay off my lawn, whippersnappers.
@@andrewcole7479 yes indeed. I've been planning on doing the Nadia amv since late 2017. It was that amv I was referring to. Thanks for the reply. Happy to hear you still remembered :D
please do an AMV of HADES PROJECT ZEORYMER. thats one of my favorite anime of all time....the plot is mind breakingly deep and the mecha designs and combat are top notch.
Thank you. I wanted to go as fast paced as possible on this one. I may have overdone it. But there's never a guarantee that an idea will work. Glad you still got something out of it!
Yea there is much love in this. Still didn't make it into the Akross top 60 finalists of that year. Though it wasn't made for that contest from the beginning. Still a little mad :P
This video has alot of personality in the beginning but it becomes full of action in the end. That's not a bad thing, but I would've loved it more if it was like in the beginning. I think the makers of the anime didnt put many fun scenes I guess after some time. I'm gonna watch the show thanks.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. There is some lighthearted stuff here and there, but most of it is in the beginning. The end is more so a fight for survival of the human race.
man do i love your videos, they are so different compared to the usual AMV's out there. It's not just randomness. What do you use for editing! i would love to know! keep it up.
Glad you liked it. To me Mecha is as much a genre as Superheroes. You can group it but most productions are inherently different. If you liked the time and space concept of Interstellar chances are you might like something in Gunbuster as well. Please tell me your experience if you ever decide to watch it.
MyBalls, That's a really vague dislike. Mecha are just shows that feature large robots, usually rode by humans. The amount of different takes on the concept are numerous and cover many genres.
Don't recall if I asked before (maybe from a different account), but do you have a link to a download of the audio? I can't find that mix anywhere. Thanks

What is the thing you liked the most in this amv?
That transition from episode 5 to 6 was CLEAN
Thank you. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Though that transition was one of my major concerns when editing. Glad you liked it.
The last episode was really good
My favorite Gunbaster's AMV. Thank you❤
This amv is such an underrated gem, it's 2 years that i come often to rewatch it
good enough to be in the ranks with Kevin Caldwell
I have Gunbuster in my classics collection on DVD. I never would have thought it held up so good in a current AMV. Really great work bringing Gunbuster "to the future".
Thanks for the quality comment. I too think it holds up pretty well. So i was trying to give it a more modern spin. Glad you noticed.
They recently announced a new blu ray release that will even have a dub I believe.
Fantastic AMV, never thought Gunbuster would work so well with a song like this. On top of that this AMV and song feels very inspiring and motivational. I love it.
I like how you have mixed moments of the HD black and white movie with the series of 6 chapters in color, the music has been well chosen, I love it
I just discovered and watched this anime because of your amv. Thank you! Another anime that I love.
Gunbuster is sooo good. Thank you
Gunbuster, Evangelion, TTGL and Giant Robo are the pinnacles of (mecha) anime. Gianax at its best.
this is sooooo good
This seriously deserves more views!!!
I agree. Though i'm pretty happy with the attention it already got.
Man I love your style. Been binging your AMVs for the past 30 minutes.
This anime makes me cry everytime...
Great AMV!
honestly it's best amv

Been listening to this over and over again because it works somehow.
When the creators of TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN had heroines as the main character of their story before it was cool! Damn fine AMV!
Actually Gunbuster is the prequel of NGE and Diebuster is the prequel of TTGL bro
heroines were pretty cool in the 80s
This amv is too damn good...
Underrated AMV
Man, your work is astonishing.
Every video you post i watch it 9 - 10 times and every time surprises me with the connection video, meaning, tempo that you put in there.
All my respect.

This probably the one amv I have ever liked
Thanks. Happy to hear. I'm planning for another AMV that might turn out rather similar to this one. Should be out by early 2019.
Awesome as always, partner
I think that you make the best amv on UA-cam. Congratulations
Thank you very much :)
Awesome!!! Another song for my car :)
Da macht man Urlaub und verpasst so nen cooles AMV. ^^^
Geil. Den Anime muss ich mir ansehen.
I'm so happy to see amv like that ty!!!
Thanks for letting me know. You're welcome
Some sweet Ear Candy, thanks for the tunes / art !
Beautiful!
Awesome!
This amv gives old school feeling.
Good Good. What next, Gundam?
Patlabor
I love this so much, great job Uwe!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Abby
I watched with delight, with bated breath! I love the work of this master AMV.
This is really badass. I MIGHT be getting this series, i don’t Know yet, I will keep you posted on that.
This is great!
my god dude i love it
Yooo this was so awesome !
Nice, a great OVA too. If only it was a 90s anime :3
Oh it's fine as it is :)
I tried to make it look less dated but that's probably not possible without altering it heavily. Patlabor is 90s so maybe that one will be more to your liking ^^

your job it´s fantastc

Thank you for the comment. I'll try to watch Giant Robo soon. My next few AMVs will be to modern stuff but I'm considering working with Patlabor soon.
Patlabor movies (esp. 2 by Oshii) are solid. Remastered TV show on blu-ray is still on my "short" list.
I like this edited than original mix :/ wp cenit
Thank you!

CHECKOUT HADES PROJECT ZEORYMER......that one is incredibly deep
Yo! Noriko is the Boss!!
This music awesome
It's perfect:з
please do an AMV of HADES PROJECT ZEORYMER. thats one of my favorite anime of all time....the plot is mind breakingly deep and the mecha designs and combat are top notch.
There were some issues from a media viewpoint, but beat and internal sync was on top in most of the parts, overall you did a good job!
Thank you. I wanted to go as fast paced as possible on this one. I may have overdone it. But there's never a guarantee that an idea will work. Glad you still got something out of it!
This AMV is better than the actual anime lel
You're greatest did made
I sometimes watching your video
진짜 최고입니다
Great
I remeber this
Yea there is much love in this. Still didn't make it into the Akross top 60 finalists of that year. Though it wasn't made for that contest from the beginning. Still a little mad :P
Man I sure wish I could actually watch this
Ik this is a late reply but you actually can watch this you just have to do it the illegal way
Saw this on AKROSS site, looks good
Nice. Thank you.

I hate the mecha genre or old looking anime, but your AMVs always makes me want to watch the entire show.
I've noticed over the past years that Mecha is a harder sell. Tell me of your experience in case you watch it.
Haven´t seen Gunbuster yet, but Aldnoah Zero is worth a look too.
man do i love your videos, they are so different compared to the usual AMV's out there. It's not just randomness.
What do you use for editing! i would love to know!
keep it up.
Cool that you noticed. I edit with Vegas. Thank you for the comment.
Damn boah
I never liked "mecha".. but after this, I want to watch one .... HOW DARE YOU make me love things I don´t like??? :D
Glad you liked it. To me Mecha is as much a genre as Superheroes. You can group it but most productions are inherently different. MyBalls, That's a really vague dislike. Mecha are just shows that feature large robots, usually rode by humans. The amount of different takes on the concept are numerous and cover many genres.
japzone I can´t really explain why, I never liked big robots before ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ....
Don't recall if I asked before (maybe from a different account), but do you have a link to a download of the audio? I can't find that mix anywhere. Thanks
Are these clips from the anime or the movie? They look really clean lol
It's from the OVA. I realize that there's a movie but i wanted to go with the original source. Also thank you!
How can u find these amazing animes?
All my youtube downloaders wont work. Cenit, do you have a download link by chance?
Sorry for late reply. It's part of AkrossCon 2017 so you can download it from their site. akross.ru/index.cgi?act=video;id=5026
goddamn, this is actually pretty fucking awesome..
Dope As F***
the stupiest thing I saw today:
giving robots additional weight to "train" their... .waht... muscles? :D

I never seen it :( I was born early 80s 😪
AMW on HXH please!!!
Music name anyone?
Do a devilman Amv please
That was deep.. suicide at ending..`?
I'd recommend watching. They don't die but there's still a huge sacrifice.
