  • Using these 3 exercises: Towel neck lifts, Shrugs and Floor neck raises you can build a stronger neck and Trapezius muscles which will help to absorb some of the damage from the punches you take in competition/sparring. The more support your jaw and temple have from head punches from a strong neck, the less chance you have of being hurt, rocked or knocked out. Overall your fight confidence will increase knowing you have a strong supportive neck.

    Great ideas, I never had to train my neck because the clinch work in Muay Thai naturally strengthened my neck. Bur these exercises are a great idea.

    So I have a question does dehydration cause your chin to get weaker someone told me that

    • @YourBoxingMind
      @YourBoxingMind  Рік тому

      Hard one to answer that, I wouldn’t know, but can imagine any fatigue or weakness would yes. So if being dehydrated makes you more fatigued then it would make you a weaker target I suppose but not directly, more indirectly from being less than your full strength and energy level.
