I lost it when you pulled out the packing list, and it was the tidiest list ever made. Very good video. I bought the same bag and and am considering the best way to pack now. Thanks for the vid!!
Hahaha I'm so glad you liked it! I am a little bit crazy when it comes to organizing packing lists 😂 Hope you enjoy the bag! I found packing it tricky the first time, it took me a few attempts to really get it. Best luck to you!
Hi! Just wondering which bag was checked in and which was carried on. I have the Fairview too and travelling to Europe for 4 weeks but not sure if I will need to check this in or if arlines will allow it on as carry on. Would I need to have a mini backpack? Any advice? Thanks!
I actually didn’t check any baggage. Most airlines allow for a carry on + a personal item, so I used the Osprey as the carry on and the Gonex as a personal item. You’ll have to check with your airlines restrictions though to make sure that they allow for that, because budget airlines tend to be more strict. There is also usually a weight limit so you have to look into that as well. Mine was way over but I got lucky and they didn’t weigh it. The Fairview/Farpoint 40 was designed to be carry on size though, but again, just double check on your airline’s website. Hope that helped!
@@MaraGrace how you carry on both the backpacks when you are walking? (I want buy the osprey fairview 40 because it is carry on but I like the idea of the 55 with the detachable daypack)
Laura Golinelli I kept the Osprey on my back, and wore the Gonex on my front! The Gonex got a bit uncomfortable on the front with everything in it, but it was fine because I only did that on transit days

It was good! If you’re interested, I posted several vlogs documenting the trip as well as a prior trip to Iceland and a subsequent trip to India.

It was a safety razor, so no problem at all!
