I’m hoping some of the leaks are true. I’m a massive fan in the Godzilla franchise and I like the Grimlins as well. Godzilla’s alt costumes could be different incarnations of himself and the grimlins could be dressed like office workers. Though I will be surprised if one of the other two original fighters will make it.

Unless they make a separate deal with Toho, I'm pretty sure WB only has the rights to use their own MonsterVerse incarnations of Goji. Still, if they use the current 2019/2021 design as Godzilla's default appearance, Burning Godzilla (2019) and/or Godzilla (2014) could be alt costumes!
After seeing that window of media I realized there could be aloooot of potential for this game and since it’s free to play the amount of characters that can be added will be huge
The character I'd like to see most is Austin Powers, I love the AP movies and there would be a lot of charm and personality in his moveset. Out of the live action WB characters he would be one of the ones that best fit.
He already has representation in WB theme parks in Australia, Spain, and Germany, and it looks like Multiversus isn't afraid of using characters from adult oriented properties (Game of Thrones, Rick and Morty) so I think he has a good chance!
The iron giant was never pacifist, just doesn't want to be used as a mindless killing machine and he has superman as his role model a dude who doesn't like violence but is willing to fight to defend and protect the people he cares for. Heck even uses violence crashing Kent car in order stop him and have him apprehended People who use this misinterpretation have never seen the film and just watch some dumb UA-camr viewpoint on him Like do people really believe the iron giant would just sit on his ass and do nothing and watch his best friend Hogarth get beaten to a bloody pulp?
Definitely gonna main Finn regardless of who they add but I’d love to see Mordecai and Rigby. Would be nice to see Ice king, Marceline, and Robin too but if not Adventure time and DC already have a good number of reps.
Would love to see Muscle Man and Skips, too! But I imagine they'll add first the characters whose voice actors already voice other characters that may or may not have already been in the game. Like Skips, who also shares the same voice actor as The Joker.
I'm just hoping for Godzilla. He'd be so hype. And given that Hanna Barbera created a Godzilla show, we could potentially get that version as a costume with the Legendary version that would definitely show up if Godzilla ever got confirmed. Iron Giant shows it's very possible. Reptar in NASB and the Project M Shin Godzilla mod make me really need Godzilla in a platform fighter badly. Also, I would've loved a Disney platform fighter. Having Sora in another game in this genre, but with Donald and Goofy, would've been amazing.
@mattreves He just would. Legendary Godzilla is known for being faster and capable of running anyway. Like I said, Iron Giant shows that giant characters can be scaled down to fit the game since he’s playable.

It really, really sucks that Harry Potter won't be getting in, but this game still has a ton of potentially fantastic and iconic characters to use. Also a Disney Smash game down the line is inevitable, I'm amazing at all the things we've gotten before it.
That Naruto ninja scroll texture was literally found in the textures for the Ninja OC. I found it myself. My guess is Naruto will be released as a payed skin for Ninja. A lot of the Hulk stuff was also listed under Brute.
I love the roster of the game. As far as new characters go, since Steven Universe is already in I think the most interesting rep from there could be Spinel, but I'm excited for what's to come.
I would love Yakko, Wakko, Dot, Pinky, Brain, the Powerpuff Girls, maybe Tiny Toons (don't know). I do hope that Fred Flintstone and George Jetson make it into the game. Johnny Bravo would be cool too!

It really has to be said how high of a quality bar these leak videos have hit these past years. It's night and day with other UA-camrs. Very clear and concise when it comes to the information and generally covering every angle one might approach a leak with. The editing is also top notch and makes it fun to watch the video instead of just listening to it. Great stuff! When it comes to the game itself I think whats most important (and that I heard few people talk about) is how the art style translates to how the game will look on the big screen. If the game looks cheap or undetailed it could ruin allot of the games potential. Just look at how amazing Smash developed as a franchise because of it's universally celebrated artstyle. Meanwhile it's also important the game feels great and punchy just like Smash did. And finally hopefully it's not just the characters looking distinct in terms of their visual presentation but that you can really do allot of cool things gameplay wise with them that adds flavor to every characters. I think it's important for the developers to realize this if they really want this to be a success. For example I've not yet seen the equivalent of the Smash's final smash attacks. Those always added allot of character to each fighter.
I can't see them adding Raven without also including starfire somewhere along the way. The up-beat alien tangerine girl was easily one of the most popular teen titans after all :3
Far and away my most wanted character for Multiversus is Austin Powers, he did have a very extensive cameo in Space Jam 2 so that's enough for me to go off of.
A lot of the WB owned characters that are in Lego Dimensions (The WB crossover game before multiversus) are in the list of datamine characters for multiversus, so Ready Player One, Space Jam 2 and Lego Dimensions are some Warner Bros crossovers to keep an eye while speculating about Multiversus. Also guest characters that appeared in Mortal Kombat and Injustice could be possibilities as well, and if we're speaking about third-parties, companies that have stuff in some of those crossovers could have a chance, Like Sega, Capcom, Namco and Microsoft having content in Ready Player One, or Universal, Sony Pictures and Paramount having content in Lego Dimensions and Ready Player One, or DarkHorse Comics having content in Space Jam 2.
As a Switch player, I may not be able to play it; but I can confirm as a person who has played Lego Dimensions that it is a pretty good spot to look. We could think Midway characters, since Warner owns them as well. Harry Potter (if Gandalf can make it in, then book characters are on the table), the Fantastic Beasts movies, The Goonies, Wade from Ready Player One (like I said, book characters I guess are on the table) would actually be cool.
When your logged in on the alpha website you can pick a profile picture from most of the revealed characters. But you can also choose Hellboy, green lantern, and a handful of mortal Kombat characters
doubt it'll happen but I would love to see Numbuh 4 (the Australian Kid) from codename Kids Next Door as a bruiser type character who play as a Frankenstein between Mii Brawler and other brawlers from Smash

As silly as it sounds I'd like to see QuickDraw Mcgraw make it as a fighter. He seems to be one of the few cartoon characters who has experience with combat even though it's mostly goofy shenanigans using a guitar
Don't know if it's been said, but Ninja and Brute seem like more character archetypes like the ones that are currently in the game. It certainly fits with the naming convention of the current "classes"

I would love to see any Jojo rep in this game. Granted, a whole ass fighting game for Jojos is coming out this fall, but I would love to either see the duo of Jotaro and DIO, or Jolyne and Pucci. But even if that happens, it'll probably be far, far down the road since many other characters have been leaked and predicted before a jojo rep. Also, idk how it will work in regards to liscensing and other stuff potentially.
WB owns the licenses for many animes, mainly distributions, Jojo included, but im not sure sure how much they own. Though, maybe not before ASBR's release. Still about licensing, we also have the possibility to have Madoka Magica character because WB owns the distribution licensing for Rebellion move.

Possibilities for this game are basically endless. Among the ones I would like to see are Samurai Jack, Ice King, Flash, Aquaman, Zatanna, Pennywise, Scorpion, Maxwell from Scribblenauts, Jon Snow, and my most wanted, (even if her show is not even out yet) Pibby.

Some context for Velma now that the NDA is lifted. She did not leak, and that teaser image announcing her came out the same day she was added to testing for the closed alpha running at the time. Technically closed alpha knew about her before due to her silhouette being part of an 'event' in the alpha that eventually started that same teaser drop day. She was revealed that way because she was being tested that day and people were gonna talk about her anyway. They were also very forward in saying that she was unfinished and experimental though it should be noted she hasn't really seemed to change too much since we first saw her, given the nature of the closed alpha they probably weren't sure on the design at that time (given the Steven Universe backlash) and wanted feedback before cementing it.
Since it’s free to play I’m hoping that it has a long future of content updates. They’ll probably want to keep people playing so people keep buying microtransactions.
I’d love to see Harry Potter in this game, Warner brothers shows off Harry Potter a lot. So it wouldn’t surprise me if eventually they’d join in. I’d argue gains t the rights because since we haven’t seen Fred Flintstone yet or haven’t been datamined from the game yet I would think that the rights issue was also made up
Call me odd, but my number one wanted character that I want for Multiversus is *Spinel* from Steven Universe. She could use her extendable and expandable limbs and the Gem Rejuvenator.
Avatar is Nickelodeon/Viacom, not Warner Bros. Unless you mean the blue people movie, which is 20th Century Fox/Disney. Some third party characters will probably get in but it’s tougher than characters that WB owns.

True, OCs at this point would feel weird. And technically Reindog isn't even a completely original character, with their connections to the Neverending Story and all.
It’s probably silly to worry about him being there, but I really hope Scooby himself is playable within the game. I mean, when the game was first revealed, all we had for Scooby content was Shaggy to start with no indication we’d get any further Scooby characters involved. And then the second character revealed for Scooby Doo was Velma, which was a huge oddball pick. Scooby Doo is one of my all time favorite cartoons ever, and Scooby and Shaggy are my favorite characters in animation, and it just feels wrong to not have the duo here together. Again, even without data mines, Scooby is a safe bet, I just still really wanna see Scoob in there. Fred and Daphne would also be great to see in the roster, but even if we just got Scooby, Shaggy, and Velma, I’d be happy. If there’s one thing that isn’t as safe a bet, it’s a Switch port of the game. I’ve been pretty exclusively a Nintendo guy and don’t really run with a PC that can handle games, so the only bet I got for a game like this is a Switch port. The roster and mechanics look interesting, so I’d really like a chance to try it out.

If Gizmo is in the game I can see a potential problem in that you have a singular small character running around which could be hard to spot when you have other normal sized and over sized characters (Iron Giant) running around. With that little bit of info about Stripe I'm thinking we'll see the unlikely team-up of Gizmo and Stripe as a 2 in 1 character.
For this game i really want Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Raiden, Jade, Static Shock, Johnny Test, Shrek, Sheldon Cooper, Samurai Jack, Ben 10, Harry Potter, Voldemort. Would be epic!!!

Okay, if they actually put Static Shock in the game I am 100% on board. Virgil Hawkins was one of my favorite heroes growing up and the neglect he suffered for the longest time afterwards is nothing short of criminal. Fingers crossed he shows up here like he should've in Injustice.
Godzilla is owned by Toho and WB only have the movie rights. Along with Eleven we could have 2 third party characters in the base roster and with Emmet something mentioning his name and a move involving LEGO bricks was in the files meaning he would play a lot like Steve in Smash. With the skins we do have stuff like HellBoy in Brawlhalla since characters you would expect to be Echos are skins instead like Cake is a skin for Jake and Furn in a skin for Fin. Played TT2 and NDA is lifted so I can now say this kind of stuff.

It really, really sucks that Harry Potter won't be getting in, but this game still has a ton of potentially fantastic and iconic characters to use. Also a Disney Smash game down the line is inevitable, I'm amazing at all the things we've gotten before it.

That Naruto ninja scroll texture was literally found in the textures for the Ninja OC. I found it myself. My guess is Naruto will be released as a payed skin for Ninja. A lot of the Hulk stuff was also listed under Brute.

It really has to be said how high of a quality bar these leak videos have hit these past years. It's night and day with other UA-camrs. Very clear and concise when it comes to the information and generally covering every angle one might approach a leak with. The editing is also top notch and makes it fun to watch the video instead of just listening to it. Great stuff!
When it comes to the game itself I think whats most important (and that I heard few people talk about) is how the art style translates to how the game will look on the big screen. If the game looks cheap or undetailed it could ruin allot of the games potential. Just look at how amazing Smash developed as a franchise because of it's universally celebrated artstyle. Meanwhile it's also important the game feels great and punchy just like Smash did. And finally hopefully it's not just the characters looking distinct in terms of their visual presentation but that you can really do allot of cool things gameplay wise with them that adds flavor to every characters. I think it's important for the developers to realize this if they really want this to be a success. For example I've not yet seen the equivalent of the Smash's final smash attacks. Those always added allot of character to each fighter.

A lot of the WB owned characters that are in Lego Dimensions (The WB crossover game before multiversus) are in the list of datamine characters for multiversus, so Ready Player One, Space Jam 2 and Lego Dimensions are some Warner Bros crossovers to keep an eye while speculating about Multiversus. Also guest characters that appeared in Mortal Kombat and Injustice could be possibilities as well, and if we're speaking about third-parties, companies that have stuff in some of those crossovers could have a chance, Like Sega, Capcom, Namco and Microsoft having content in Ready Player One, or Universal, Sony Pictures and Paramount having content in Lego Dimensions and Ready Player One, or DarkHorse Comics having content in Space Jam 2.

As a Switch player, I may not be able to play it; but I can confirm as a person who has played Lego Dimensions that it is a pretty good spot to look. We could think Midway characters, since Warner owns them as well. Harry Potter (if Gandalf can make it in, then book characters are on the table), the Fantastic Beasts movies, The Goonies, Wade from Ready Player One (like I said, book characters I guess are on the table) would actually be cool.

I would love to see any Jojo rep in this game. Granted, a whole ass fighting game for Jojos is coming out this fall, but I would love to either see the duo of Jotaro and DIO, or Jolyne and Pucci. But even if that happens, it'll probably be far, far down the road since many other characters have been leaked and predicted before a jojo rep. Also, idk how it will work in regards to liscensing and other stuff potentially.
WB owns the licenses for many animes, mainly distributions, Jojo included, but im not sure sure how much they own. Though, maybe not before ASBR's release.
Still about licensing, we also have the possibility to have Madoka Magica character because WB owns the distribution licensing for Rebellion move.

Some context for Velma now that the NDA is lifted. She did not leak, and that teaser image announcing her came out the same day she was added to testing for the closed alpha running at the time. Technically closed alpha knew about her before due to her silhouette being part of an 'event' in the alpha that eventually started that same teaser drop day. She was revealed that way because she was being tested that day and people were gonna talk about her anyway. They were also very forward in saying that she was unfinished and experimental though it should be noted she hasn't really seemed to change too much since we first saw her, given the nature of the closed alpha they probably weren't sure on the design at that time (given the Steven Universe backlash) and wanted feedback before cementing it.
I really wonder how extensive the roster will be, hopefully it’s a great game that sticks around for a long time like brawlhalla

True, OCs at this point would feel weird. And technically Reindog isn't even a completely original character, with their connections to the Neverending Story and all.
It’s probably silly to worry about him being there, but I really hope Scooby himself is playable within the game. I mean, when the game was first revealed, all we had for Scooby content was Shaggy to start with no indication we’d get any further Scooby characters involved. And then the second character revealed for Scooby Doo was Velma, which was a huge oddball pick. Scooby Doo is one of my all time favorite cartoons ever, and Scooby and Shaggy are my favorite characters in animation, and it just feels wrong to not have the duo here together. Again, even without data mines, Scooby is a safe bet, I just still really wanna see Scoob in there. Fred and Daphne would also be great to see in the roster, but even if we just got Scooby, Shaggy, and Velma, I’d be happy.
If there’s one thing that isn’t as safe a bet, it’s a Switch port of the game. I’ve been pretty exclusively a Nintendo guy and don’t really run with a PC that can handle games, so the only bet I got for a game like this is a Switch port. The roster and mechanics look interesting, so I’d really like a chance to try it out.

If Gizmo is in the game I can see a potential problem in that you have a singular small character running around which could be hard to spot when you have other normal sized and over sized characters (Iron Giant) running around. With that little bit of info about Stripe I'm thinking we'll see the unlikely team-up of Gizmo and Stripe as a 2 in 1 character.

Godzilla is owned by Toho and WB only have the movie rights. Along with Eleven we could have 2 third party characters in the base roster and with Emmet something mentioning his name and a move involving LEGO bricks was in the files meaning he would play a lot like Steve in Smash. With the skins we do have stuff like HellBoy in Brawlhalla since characters you would expect to be Echos are skins instead like Cake is a skin for Jake and Furn in a skin for Fin. Played TT2 and NDA is lifted so I can now say this kind of stuff.
WB doesn't even have movie rights for Godzilla. Legendary pictures does, WB is just the distributor.
