How do MLMs pull off working with influencers, while balancing out not disturbing their top distributors who now may be upset about competing with influencers that the MLM sends free product to?

"Influencers" are the fruit of the bloom that was UA-cam stars years ago.
When an agency or brand seeks to connect with an influencer they or their kids follow and like, what happens when the brand product or service is rejected by the influencer? Can the influencer be bought? or will the brand want an influencer's public rejection? There's the IN BETWEENs of real energy. Otherwise Influencers will fade onto the next channel tool as they will simply become the presenters of old time radio and TV the trusted celebrity who pitched products. Unless the window is shattered between the public and celebrity via the brand....
