Don't apologize about your boat. Even with a gas tank on the aft and some stuff here and there on deck, you two are still in a position where milions of people wish to be. Keep going you two ! we enjoy your adventures every week.
Brings back memories for me - I lived in Nice for 3 years. I found out that many of those really big super yachts are owned by the big companies. Another great video Marc & Nadiyana thank you for the lovely card you are very welcome to my support, what you are doing is inspiring new adventures for other folks to think about and I have already seen another family you have inspired on Utube Best Regards Steve
You, my friend, have a beautiful sailing home. Those super yachts are piloted by a paid captain and the owners are far from sailors. Keep on keeping on
I am glad that you had mostly good weather this time. I wish you continued perseverance and above all health. Life for two is always better than loneliness!
Thanks, Wolfgang! And thanks so much for all your generosity. We really appreciate it. Yes, we need to look after ourselves in these crazy times, and you too!
Love the video Mark and Nadiana. Wish it was an hour longer. :) I agree with another post that said "hope you get to warm weather for the Winter." Want to see these videos continue. Thanks for sharing. (Y)
@@WildlingSailing you can legally go as far as you like. You will have to get the same sort of papers that US, Canadian, etc boats get when cruising EU waters. Of course this Covid stuff lends an air of uncertainty, but in the Northern hemisphere even in the Med the weather is not flavour of the month. Many snuggle up somewhere warm for the winter and re emerge in spring to fettle the boats and add the Crimbo prezzies to the ship's inventory for the coming season. You'll be fine.
Happy new year to you both I’ve just started following your story from the storm in the scilly isles video to now. I’m the owner of a Sea Rover 28 for some 25plus years in the uk. And have been sailing the Ionian and around Greece over the past 4 years...
Great to see you back ,, we spent two weeks in that marina about 200 m from your pontoon ,,, we love Nice ,,, keep em coming ,, Neil , Liz and Barneyboo the cockerpoo ,,,
You’re right about ‘prop walk’ The trick is knowing which way your prop rotates and how it affects the bias on the steering in both ahead and astern. You can then plan your manoeuvres as you approach your mooring or slip. Also, it is easier to reverse into a berth, but be careful with a tiller steered boat, since the force of water on the rubber can sometimes overwhelm you and pull the tiller out of your hands... we chartered in Croatia in 2019 and got berthed next to some ‘posh’ yachts in a tatty locking Elan 36! Hilarious! I own a little Jaguar 22 trailer sailer! Loving your channel and your lifestyle decisions... fair winds...!
Nadiyana's so pretty inside and out. That pink knit tank tops cute. It was funny when she squatted down a little. Your a lucky man to be sharing your journey's together. Does she have a sister for me lol.

Kind Regards, Barnacle Bern S Y Cadbri
Hi Bernie. its really nice to have a but of assistance. I'm not sure if it was the main square where we were at night but there was a fountain and some strange light up sculptures on the top of posts
Thank you so much for sharing your cruising adventure. I like to think richness is so relative. In my book, yours is exceedingly rich. I congratulate you for starting off young and not putting it off to later. But agaiin, maybe as a self consolation, we all could very well start any time as long as we keep a young heart. On a more practical note, I like to ask what expenses cruising around incurs regarding cruising tax. I think Greece charges such a tax. How about other countries? Thank you once again.
99 percent of boats in the med are stationary daysailers, fitted out by upper middle class locals, to the very detail, all they do is tiny upgrades every weekend until it looks even more and more perfect. my neighbour in malta on a beneteau 42, just upgraded his instruments over the winter, 1000s of euros, end to end, everything onboard electronics is brand new. He does not even sail to sicily which is 60 miles north. these sailors perfect their boats as they polish their cars day on day. they have nothing else to do. they are NOT travellers, and not cruisers never compare to them i have been thru that, and you feel like a alien in these harbors. a flipside on the med. i am passing near the french coast this summer with my 27 footer, on the way from malta to spain, watching your episodes here with great interest. thank you for the episode

Aww thanks, Freddie! You have been so generous to us. We can't thank you enough. Yes, we sometimes wish we could spend a few nights on one of those fancy yachts! But we know that the happiness brought by lots of money doesn't last long.
It will back much better if you burst her and then take the bell off (stop) that gives you stern way without walking to port as all single screw boats do. When your in open water put some markers in the water and back b ack through them. Enjoy your videos se safe.
Sympathise on driving boats with significant prop walk. Both my last two had such. Jolly useful when you can pick a berth where it can be used to your advantage - but Murphy's Corollary to Sod's Law dictates that the tighter the available space the greater the liklihood of the berth allocated being positioned in a way that your prop walk is the most hindrance. I always walk my boat out of her home berth and walk it in from about half way in if single handed. It is by far the safest and easiest way to manage my old girl's foibles at her home berth. Re flags - real sailors have a tattered one for when at sea and the biggest possible one in good condition for when you're alongside. It shows pride in your home. It is also a sign of courtesy and welcome to any visitors you might invite aboard in port. I'm sure you don't wear yours for this reason - but there are some (very strange people) who keep the tattiest ensign for harbour use as a sort of reverse snobbery. You guys do it cause you probably can only afford one ensign - a very good reason ;-) A lot of those super yachts are laid up at the end of the Med 'season' for a maintainance period and crew R+R. They will then be nicely spruced up for the Caribbean season in the Spring. Six crew and one guest probably means 3 crew operating the boat and three catering staff including the chef. Was my Superyacht Skipper cousin's favourite time of the year.
I was a bit ashamed of the flag being tatty but after hearing lots of positive comments i have become proud of it! I was really surprised at how few people there were for such a large boat. I thought youd need more to dock that hefty thing! but when they come in to the marina they have a few ribs that essentially act as movable fenders. we'll be unboxing your stuff in a video coming soon!
Good Nz morning guys. I watch a few sailing channels. Actually quite a few. But when yours shows up, it's a case of aaaah.!!! Your channel is a fun loving channel. It's too hard to put into words how I feel. Btw Nadiyana, that house may be Charlie Chaplin. Just Googled. And looking similar to what you show. Anyway, love your channel. Take care and stay safe. Atb.
I wonder if it’s possible to fashion a hammock if you roll too much. Maybe you could use strong bungee at the ends to counter a bit of heave. Are you gonna give us a winter on a boat perspective in a coastal marina or coming home? There is f&@k all here mate. Stay there if I was you..
Hi guys, do yourself a favour. jump on a train and take a trip back to antibes, You won't regret it. It is one of the best yachting centres in the world and is a fantastic town to work and stay in. I miss the place soon much.
the british flag in expensive yacht doesnt mean the owner is british, they are more likely russian, middle easterner or even american, but if you register your yacht in a company based in jersay guenersey, gibraltar, cayman etc... then you don't pay the heavy taxes you would normally pay in your country for such a boat
Blimey! The motorboat used as a tender is bigger than your home! OK, maybe not - but close. It's shocking, imo. People should earn more, deserve more etc than others; I have no problem with that, but *SO* much more? The rule of thumb I've heard is 400 * national average is surely enough for anyone? In the UK just now, the average wage is £25,000, so £10,000,000 per year is as much as anyone should earn? Maybe £10m pa gives you a super-yacht like these you show? Maybe next year for me
Yachts bigger than my house are crazy, but I'm not one to envy those who can afford them. Especially when you think about how many people they employed to build them. I built hotrods and race cars for a few years. It was the most rewarding and fun job I ever had, but without rich guys around who could spend 300k on a car, I'd have never had the opportunity to build such cool things. I imagine it's much the same for the guys building the crazy floating palaces. ;)
We actually feel bad for a lot of the owners of the boat, all the money to buy them but not enough time to spend on them! Everything in life has it's trade off!
Don't apologize about your boat. Even with a gas tank on the aft and some stuff here and there on deck, you two are still in a position where milions of people wish to be. Keep going you two ! we enjoy your adventures every week.

A lot of those super yachts are laid up at the end of the Med 'season' for a maintainance period and crew R+R.
Fascinating travel vlog
Cheers, Robert!
Atb.
Ahhh wow I'm surprised she got that right as I'm pretty sure she guessed it 😂 thanks Bryan, such kind words
Ha, I'm the fourteenth thousand and one subscriber. I'm the one who broke the 14K barrier.
Hey Paul, we'll be doing a winter on a boat perspective this year!
Charlie chaplins house was in Switzerland by the way, 😆
5 thousand pound boat or 10 million pound boat.....all our shat smells the same 😂 respect ✊
Love this video. You 2 are beautiful and Lovely.
Give the subtitles a little more time on screen. When editing the brain already knows what they say so reading them is quicker.
nice one, will do in future
Hi guys, do yourself a favour. jump on a train and take a trip back to antibes, You won't regret it. It is one of the best yachting centres in the world and is a fantastic town to work and stay in. I miss the place soon much.
Great Show :)))
hey it was cruel that you burned all of Nadiana bras
Bra's are not allowed at sea🤣😂
The bloke taking the lines nearly had an eye out!!!!
THANKS ALWAYS UR FRIEND FREDDIE 👍
Wow. A! Why not get a closer look?
I know, we should have, but I think he was going about 20 knots!
Yes maybe not a super boat but the most beautiful girl in the harbor 💃🏽⛵️👍🤗
Aww thanks!
The Union Jack flag on the boats are because they are registered in Jersey, due to no tax
nice to seethe Scottish flag flying in Monaco ,, that must be Jackie Stewarts boat .
yeah, it was a strange flag to see there indeed
Nice it is! 👌🏽
So niceee
Hopefully the piano is okay!
dont worry mate, it survived!
the british flag in expensive yacht doesnt mean the owner is british, they are more likely russian, middle easterner or even american, but if you register your yacht in a company based in jersay guenersey, gibraltar, cayman etc... then you don't pay the heavy taxes you would normally pay in your country for such a boat
flipping tax dodgers!! theyre usually from somewhere like the cook islands, some offshore british territory
So you have been in your boat for more than a year and now you have learned to shut the front hatch 😂😂😂
Haha, don't be cheeky!
Maybe next year for me
Burst out laughing when she said "But my hair looks nice"! Absolutely right, it does
The Corsican boat/ferry will have a lot of French Foreign Legion on it - tough buggers! - their base is Corsica, or Lyon
Everything in life has it's trade off!
a pitty you didn't sail into Port Vauban and pay us a visit.
I know, sorry we missed you!
Nice title :)
Cheers, Gordon!
Ripped flag is exactly the same as people who have totally smashed screens on their phones. It says “Yeah, this has seen shit, but I survived.”
absolutely!
