Oh Sean I gave just watched your video of last Christmas in London. On Christmas Eve, i couldn't believe the Comment of your Landlord wanting you to put your stuff in shed so he could Paint for next person. The Brass Neck of the Man. I suppose he doesn't want to lose a day rent after you moved while he painted. Oh i was so cross. i hope you told him to go Run Up A Nettle Bush. That would sort his Cheek, both of em 😂😂. Cheeky Begger! I only found you since you are in Wales, so it was interesting seeing you in such a busy setting. I live in quiet Seaside town, an in a quieter village within it, only been to London twice, i couldn't cope with the hustle and bustle of it. Was so glad to see the Sign for Southport when arriving North again. 😂😂.
Sorry I have edited mistakes in spelling, I have Arthritis in hands, an can spasm, leading to interesting spelling of words 😂😂. Not surprised the other person is moving,he seems a right piece of work! Take care Sean!
So much interesting content in this video don't know where to start. All those people are going to miss you Sean and you lively wit. You must be a very tolerant person to have shared your accommodation with all those other people and not come to blows! Landlord is not being reasonable about your room - what about the cats. Happy Christmas and all good wishes for your future. Take care.
Nice walk back into town in Sydenham London soon back in Wales and walk up mountain with nice flask of tea looking down villages the cats settle down wales merry Christmas
Busy time for you now Sean.. I hope you manage to keep your things in the room until you are ready and keep your them dry. Next Christmas will be one to look forward to for sure . .Your own boss at your house . .
Thanks for making this video about last Christmas! I can see why you and Topsy and Amber are so much happier in the new house! Having so much more space and grass to run and play on must be heaven for you all. Merry Christmas from Kasandra and the Stanley Avenue Cats: Boo, Lulu, Lovebug, and Stanley.
We always had our main meal in the evening because everyone was out midday, either at school or work. We ever bothered with supper in our family, breakfast, dinner & tea was enough. Not many snacks back then either. I’ve fallen into bad habits since I retired, I simply eat when I feel like & don’t always feel like cooking good meals. I need to get back on track next year. I hope next year is a really good one for you Sean.
Good evening Sean your right it doesn't feel like Christmas i blame the government and all the main party's for it....But at the end of the day Merry Christmas to you & wishing you all the best for the move Regards Mark...
Can't believe I'm sitting here in Portugal watching videos of SE London. "Only visited the Gym for the loo "😂 That gym used to be a co-op. Whites Pet shop 🥰... spent hours in there as kid looking at the animals. Can't wait to see if I recognise any of the places in Wales from I lived there and hiked the Brecons regularly. :)
Hello Sean, wishing you a Happy Christmas and all the best for the coming year. Thank-you for all your lovely videos, we find you a very calm and relaxing person. Really looking forward to watching your new adventures back home in Wales, I'm positive it won't disappoint. My Nick and I don't really celebrate Christmas, it's all very commercial nowadays, I used to go to church but not now. I really enjoy watching the video of the carols in your park. xx
I am feeling the exact same feelings, ive been packing up my house and heading up to the very northern part of Australia in the NT on the 20th January. Its so helpful listening to you discuss how the move is affecting you, i dont feel so overwhelmed and strange. Merry low key Christmas you and thanx for sharing 🌻🙏🌲🌻
Happy Christmas!! I'm so excited for you moving to Wales and wish you all the best in your move. Meals - I've always had soup or a sandwich at lunch mainly for speed, and then take time to cook something nice for tea. Although having the main meal at lunch is probably better for your digestion as you have more time to burn it off :)
All the best to you in Liverpool your evening meal was at night and we called it tea, if you were a bit posher you called it dinner, but here in Wales we call it supper just to confuse everyone so you will be having supper for your tea😅😅😅
Merry Christmas Sean! A bit off this year for me as well (still working through unemployment and a bit melancholy overall.. looking forward to Christmas 2024! Lol..) Just had lunch with my son and his girlfriend and he will be coming over to help me restring new halyards and pulleys on my flag pole but otherwise very low key this year. So it goes.. one year at a time! I think doing a post move video that also looks back would be an interesting watch. Kind of an out with the old and in with new!
A very Merry Christmas, Sean!! I'll be baking and cooking the next week. Since I live alone, I'll freeze portions for eating in Jan.! Was shopping the last few days for supplies and found people not very cheery. I wished people "Happy Holidays" and "Merry Christmas" and received no replies from most. Inflation is eating people alive; I think they work hard and see little for their efforts by barely keeping a roof over their head and food on the table. Next year, we should see a cozy Christmas from Wales with your two cats curled up by the fire or heater. You will love living alone!
Wishing you well in your new life. We moved too during the lockdowns and never regretted it. In our age for living out in the sticks, you need three things near you: shops, a GP surgery and a pharmacy. We are not getting any younger and it will be different to the days in Cardiff or Manchester.
Wishing you a Happy Christmas Sean, and a very successful move back to Wales in 2024. Lunch is a sandwich at 12:00 if I'm lucky enough not to be in meetings all the way through it. Dinner is at 6.30 and is the main meal of the day just because my working day is so unpredictable.
Happy Christmas Sean, looking forward instead of looking back, is a good thing! Here in Quebec Canada, it will be a quiet ones for us, we having our 2 sons over in the morning for breakfast, with their girlfriends and out 2 grandsons. We are also keeping an eye out for a small place outside of your town , but no rush as we still have 8 years to go before retiring .and the interest rates here make it difficult to buy unless your current home is completely paid for , but who knows what 2024 has an store for all of us! Keep looking forward, we will be accompanying you through it! 😊❤
The last two or theee weeks before moving is so frustrating, you just want to get gone! Wales is going to be so much better, fresh air, peace and much more friendly I bet. For us, lunch is soup or sandwich, or sometimes cheese and crackers between 12-1pm ish. Dinner is between 6-7pm, usually shepherds pie, chicken and veg or if we aren’t that hungry, an omelette and salad, we don’t eat big meals these days, now we’re retired. Happy Christmas and happy packing 🎄😀 Ps. Your landlord has a blooming cheek! No way should you have to do that!
Normally, noon is Lunch here, and Dinner (or Supper) is 5-6 PM. Being retired, we have no scheduled meals. We just eat when we get hungry enough for it. As for Christmas, it doesn't seem like it here either. Amost a non-event.
Interesting channel. Your verbal rambling mirrors much of what's going on here in NYC. people moving out, not much Christmas frolics, changing world, desire to feel physically better and a bit worn out in the process. Keep being yourself. Conforming too much crushes the spirit. 🥳 🎊 happy 2024.
Wishing you a very happy Christmas Sean thank you for all your videos. It's all pretty boring now. Just been out for a expensive dinner all a waist of money. Sounding like scrooge.😂
My parents were from London and York so "dinner" is in the middle of the day, "tea time" is about 5pm and "supper time" was about bed time. Dunno if thats a Southern or Northern thing? Anyway, have a great Christmas Sean and all the best for the move in January. You landlord should wait till you leave before decorating the room, what a cheek!
Hello Sean, I agree that it doesn't feel Christmassy this year. I am having a very quiet Christmas probably do some sewing tomorrow. I watched your bus tour video earlier today which I enjoyed. I was wondering when you get settled maybe you could do a bus tour down in Wales, I think it is wrong of your landlord to ask if they can start decorating your room while you are still there!! Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤❤❤🇨🇦

I’ve heard this week that the person who moved in after me is already leaving this month.

I like to totally forget it's Christmas too! That and a large glass of something really help me get through.
thank god i live in rural lincolnshire, london seems so distressed and soul sapping
very wise to sort your things now rather than trying to move things you may not want! Merry Chritmas Sean.
Lovely cafes in Treorchy
Great video, really well made and very emotive. Great work Sean.

So depressing, no Christmas sparkle, and so un Christmassy. No wonder everyone feels so depressed there. xxx

Hi Sean. Happy Christmas. Just returned from Midnight Mass and having a nice cuppa tea so thought I would catch up. All the best for 2024
