This is the end of the Canadian leg of my adventure - I love it there!!
Have you been to Canada? Where else would you recommend visiting?

We will be in Peggy's cove one week from tomorrow and have booked a similar excursion. We will be in port for 9 hours so we hope to add in the Fairview Lawn Cemetary and Maritime Museum as I am deep in the story of the Titanic thanks to UA-cam. This is such a great series and the first time I watched this video, we booked the excursion. Love your videos.

I heard the Titanic story mentioned a few times on my trip.
Glad you’re enjoying the videos too - I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

It looks so crowded in Peggy's Cove...but lovely. It's a shame you didn't get to explore Halifax. The people are absolutely wonderful. All cars will stop if they think you are even slightly likely to cross the street. Warm-hearted.

It’s a victim of its own success - I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many coaches in such a small place. Not one for people who hate tourists!!
But it wasn’t so crowded you couldn’t find your own space to appreciate it and personally I thoroughly enjoyed it. Standing on the rocks looking out at the sea was wonderful.
Halifax itself is back on the list to go back to…

If that's your impression of Halifax, I suggest you check out Sydney, NS. Hands down, the most wonderful, warm-hearted city I have ever visited.

@malcolmainspan5036 there’s a video from Sydney NS too - I liked it, but didn’t think there was a lot in the town itself. Think I’d like to explore the wider area if I go back.

@@malcolmainspan5036 Ironically I lived in Sydney, but it was when I was a wee young child. Of course I had no sense of these kind of things at that age. I have no doubt that Sydney, and Cape Breton in general, is extremely warm and welcoming, even more so than lovely Halifax.

It’s too bad you didn’t have time to visit the Maritime Museum in Halifax. It’s quite interesting and has lots of information about the Titanic, including some artifacts. It’s close to the cruise terminal.

Yes, I heard about that. It was a short day in port so I had to pick my tour - but next time….

When we were there on the CP at the end of October 2022 it was a cold pouring rain and my wife was sick so that was wasted port for us.

Oh no, that’s such a shame. I think the people on the cruise before me had a hurricane too, so we were really quite lucky!
But as I say, just an excuse to go back 😁
