- Known for its rich maritime history and natural beauty, Halifax is located on the eastern coast of Canada, in the province of Nova Scotia. The city is home to a wonderful combination of historical sites, museums, and public art, as well as contemporary shops, bars, and restaurants. In this video, we’ll provide an overview of our August 2023 visit to Halifax, when our ship, the Carnival Venezia, docked in Nova Scotia’s capital city and we spent the day exploring the charming Harbourwalk area.

Nice video. You covered a lot. I live across the harbour from Halifax in Dartmouth but we are one big city. Hope you had a chance to try a beaver tail ( deep fried dough with many choices of toppings). Poutine ( pronounce poo teen, I know , sounds delicious lol) is a French dish from Quebec that we enjoy here. Beaver tails are also a Quebec dish. If you didn’t get a chance, hope you will try one of the above in your next visit.
