This is a quick easy tutorial on how to replace the serpentine belt on Your jeep 4.0 liter wrangler tj. Hope this helps you out and stops the horrible squeaking
Finally. Someone who doesnt have a long boring intro , just goes right to the relevant content. Your explantion was easy to understand and follow. Well done sir !!! You earned yourself a subscriber. I drive a '97 Jeep Wrangler that i do most of the work on myself . So, im sure ill be back here for more advice ! LoL. Thank you for sharing your knowledge , its much appreciated!
Way better than some other lengthy videos. The lighting was very good, and the tip about the reservoir was helpful.
not sure if you guys cares but if you are bored like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my brother for the last few days :)
@Beau Landon yea, I've been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself :)
Thank you so much for this. Easy fix but getting the belt over that middle wheel can be a challenge...
1/2 inch play, and like you say yes it is snug but you can push the belt down a half inch when you hold a ruler against it. It’s a pretty hard push to get a half inch of play. If you overtighten these things you’ll take out your bearings.
how is it that dealers ask 1000's to do this and you make it so simple? amazing video thank you sir!
I have a 2002 tj. I’m gonna see if everything is similar to yours and give this a try. Conveniently, the belt diagram is glued to my fan cover 😊
Thanks for taking the time to make the video!
thanks, it looks easy now.

Short & to the point..thanks!!
Super tight, but not he-man tight.
Great video. Why is it necessary to loosen that first pulley?
Thank you.
That way it allows attention and screw to move Foley and then when you are finished you tighten that poly back up
Got my sub bud!!
Is this TJ not equipped with a tensioner that you can pivot to loosen the belt?
No
Thats so odd. . . @@randymuir3810
Good job.
This isn't for all TJ's
