Super review and fair. I love that you tried and reviewed vegetarian food, which is rare. Agreed, particularly for KL, that is expensive for a relatively simple dishes with few expensive ingredients. Did they have vegetarian afternoon tea?
Hi and thank you for your comment and question! ♥ So from my memory, they didn't have it listed as an option but I do remember asking the same question and they said that they can arrange it by vegetarian substitutions. Are you a fan of vegetarian afternoon tea? If so, I will make enquiries on future videos and try and provide more detail for next time! 😃
@@loveflyingandhotels I definitely am! The best I had was at Capella Bangkok, they made me 3 special items. And that was so much I had to have takeaway box. Some places just give a cucumber sandwich and a large empty gap on the stand were the more exciting nonveg items are arranged!
The drawing room café is kinda tight and crampled, for a five stars hotel, that area could have been wider and spacious with more distance between the tables. And the botero horse is definitely so big that it makes the place tiny. The hotel is nice but space wasn't their main objective I believe. I have been to that hotel and that is the feeling I have. 😢
Hello, as a Titanium Elite member I booked this on a ‘room only’ basis and used my welcome gift to select a complimentary breakfast. This did not include afternoon tea. The afternoon tea is chargeable. However, they do offer package deals which might include afternoon tea. I just checked what the current package deals include, and at the moment it is breakfast, and a three course dinner at the brasserie - see T&Cs. The package deals they offer, may change from time to time, so it’s worth maybe keeping an eye out or just paying for the afternoon tea separately. .
Speaking with no smile at all,is that the sop speaking like that to the hotel guest as the sm.. Hope the boss look at this sdm talk like a boring mabuk not ready to the standard.others staff excellent especially shahira.
😱 i’m so sorry, I didn’t include the prices for the minibar. I normally do, but must’ve forgotten on this occasion. From memory, the alcoholic beverages are expensive! Here is a link to the menu for The Braserie which I think is similar to the in room minibar. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. drive.google.com/file/d/1gBAgKE5Oon6N_ZDTbPdASkFzw65WuBTf/view
@@catarinav7947 very nice. In terms of the luxury properties under the Marriott brand. i’ve come across quite a few people who were making the decision in staying either at this hotel or the Ritz Carlton. One of these friends work for Marriott hotels, although it’s a different brand and is a director for Operations. She said that she felt underwhelmed at the Ritz Carlton, which made me choose the St Regis, instead. Having looked at reviews and stayed at a few different Ritz Carlton is around the world. I was glad to make the choice that I did. If you do intend to stay there, I hope you enjoy it 😀
I have been waiting for this all week. Another excellent video!

@@Leo_nora_1 I will try and get more info on future hotel stays. Are you vegetarian or vegan?
Just vegetarian 😊 thank you!
Have you stayed at this hotel or are you planning to? Don’t miss this video of this iconic hotel!
I think 99.9999% will choose Breakfast as the welcome gift 😂
Absolutely, especially given the cost of food in this hotel 😂

The same hotel in Singapore is far better! Bangkok is not too bad either.
@@loveflyingandhotels never been to st regis Singapore, I will next time. Thx for the info. 👍
Very luxurious
Oh yes! Very nice hotel! 😀
The breakfast and afternoon tea are included in your room rate, right?

How to pronounced the executive chef name? - 11.53
The Exec Chef is Keith Hooker. To pronounce this, think, it would be like Kei-th Hook-er
What were the prices like for the in room minibar?

@@loveflyingandhotels Thanks for the reply! Staying in a few months, looks like one of the better hotels in KL.
